reserve to U-Haul a week ahead of time when I arrived I had to wait over an hour for the truck to be cleaned. All kind of crap in the back then I was charged for 20 extra miles that I did not put on from U-Haul to where I moved and back is exactly 60 miles and I was was charged for more than eighty milesshould never have to wait to have a truck clean when it's been reserved

Every one needs to be on the same page with prices from pick ups to larger trucks one says .79 a mile on weekends and another persons say..99 a mile not on same page and sign you out right so others.dont call you wanted to know were the truck is when it was on the lot turn in on time. Makes You feel like you stole the truck when the whole time it was on the lot we all have to learn when we are new but becareful what you say to customer it needs to be right word of mouth goes a long way

we arrived at 6:54 pm to return our rental on Thursday, Feb 6 lights were off, doors locked, no one in sight it was freezing outside and we were forced to go through the online check in process which was frustrating after a long day of moving no obvious place to park the vehicle

The truck only had 18,000 miles on it and drove very smooth for a big truck. Price was good as we got a promotional rate. What you gain with the lower bed you lose in ramp length making for a steep ramp to load and unload on. Overall, well satisfied.

Have full tank of gas would be helpful. Mine had 1/2 take when picked up. It’s very difficult to fill gas back to to 1/2 tank. I filled up at 1/4 tank and didn’t use to 1/2. I was told at drop off that I should get some money back on my credit card. Every Rental I’ve ever had was full when picked up and you filled up to return.

I rented the moving truck, Josh Woosley was a driver ONLY. I was assured by the clerk that he was listed as a driver. When I called to add another day to my rental, the CSR assured me that he was listed as a driver ONLY. When I called to confirm drop off info, I was informed the rental agreement was in his name, not mine. This could have turned ugly if we were not honest. Please make sure information is logged properly to prevent problems.

We arrived at 6:22pm close to when they closed 7pm. I was walking in and one of the employees was sweeping the floor. I couldn't get to the counter because she was sweeping and I had to wait til she was finished to get to the counter.

We had problems with 2 of the trailers but the people there kept going until everything was correct. The young man that helped us was outstanding!!! Wish more businesses had people like him!!!

The app is effectively useless if I still have to go and get the key from inside, and have to take multiple photos before I can check in, wait for U-Haul to contact my alternate contact, wait for a text message with a code, then after all that, go inside to speak with someone to pick up the key. Had I known that, I would have showed up early, but I showed up on time and that ate up 15 minutes. I imagine it would be great for after hours pickup, but during a regular day you're better off just going inside and letting the associates check you in.

The owner, Adine Brantley, is amazing. There was initially a mix-up with my rental, and she was outstanding in doing everything to make things right. I also got to see how personable she was in interacting with all the customers and her staff. She deserves recognition!

Personnel rude and unprofessional. No smiles and no greetings. They leave on Sunday newly hired who did not know how to run a transaction. I had to come back Monday to get my return processed. I was sold a coverage without being asked if I wanted it.

We have a 2016 Ford C-Max which has a low clearance plus not equipped with very strong springs. I needed a 1" hitch and all they had was a 2" hitch. This does not make sense to me. There are a lot of 1" receivers out there. Plus the 2" hitch that I had to buy was to low to the ground. Thank goodness I had an adapter to go from a 1" to a 2" or I would have had to buy that as well. Why don't you all rent hitches as you do everything else. I asked about turning the hitch over and switching the ball around so that it would give me about 3 more inches of clearance. The reply was no we can not do that. So the end result was that there was minimal clearance between the tongue and the road. Plus there was a lot of slop in the hitch so it wobbled around in the receiver and made noise every time you hit a bump. Plus every time that I hit a bump the trailer would hit the pavement. Even though It is your trailer I still do not like to mistreat equipment.

Was met by a 7/8 year old who asked, very politely, for me to turn off the engine and give him the keys. His 4/5 year old sister trailed behind him. Adult worker (relative to children) came out a minute later and took a long time to check the truck in. Once inside, found the room filled with supplies and the main desk hidden from view. Used this site before and it was much better.

Customer service rep seemed a bit out of it, he didnt walk around the truck with us to look at prior damage and forgot to put the appliance dolly in the truck. We had to turn around after driving miles to go back and get the dolly.

I rented a 20’ truck for 24 hours and when I arrived to pick it up was told I only had it for 8 hours. Funny though the cost was for 24 hours, not prorated for 8. Very stressful experience. ??

My whole trip was distareous from the beginning. Told and charged for an appliance dolly. Was not in the truck. Due to a 24/7 pick up because a truck I was promised earlier in the day was given away no one to talk to. So I had to load a side by side refrigerator and dishwasher into a 10 foot truck with no dolly!!! It’s sitting in my garage now because I have no way to get it in the house due to no dolly. This was all arranged from Lexington/Louisville area. No problems with drop off. That’s the only thing that went smooth.
