prepared to move my property out, Wanted to speak to the manager about a possible refund since I pre paid months in advance. each time i stopped in he was gone for the day. Could not get him on the phone nor a phone call returned after leaving multiple messages. They demand you pay on time but will not even discuss a refund for moving out in advance. I am handicapped and would like to suggest a minor adjustment. Your box and equipment display causes a person to walk in a large circle towards the back of the store before having access to customer service. Change the display and take out a section of boxes to allow access to the checkout area closer to the front door. Consider the customers instead of a marketing display to sell more boxes.George D.

In the past several years that I have used my storage locker at this U Haul, it has always been clean, well lit, secure and available. The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. Don't argue with customer. I needed an enclosed vehicle to transport a couch about 15 miles total. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to rent truck from HD or Menards since it was a Saturday so I decided to pay a little extra and reserve one using uhaul. I rented 9 foot cargo van and had confirmation. Received a phone call stating no van but will have a 10 foot truck instead same price, this was acceptable and confirmed. Upon arrival, they said the didn't have a 10 foot truck and all they had was 15 foot truck and since we really had no choice but say ok the problem was they wanted to charge me the milage for bigger truck. That's the part that was so time consuming and unnecessary since I didn't think I should pay milage for a truck that I didn't ask for. Upon my return just an hour later at most was another argument. They proceeded to say we didn't put enough gas back in it. We started with half a tank we brought it back with half a tank. The guy said it looks short about $15 worth of gas. Previous experience here was good, this time, not at all and if there's a next time, I'll just get wait and get a truck from HD or Menards. Very disappointed in service this time.BRIAN D.

Pricing and service was great. Needed a cargo van for 4 hours. Paid under $40. Try and find a clean, serviced vehicle for that price is some where else, you won't.TODD Z.

Better signage from Remington Blvd. Thevwater tower is a great landmark, but not all streets connect to the Frontage Road. They are tucked away back there- make them easier to reach! Super helpful personnel working there- thank you!Walter F.

I received several emails rescheduling my reservation to different locations at different times. I talked to seven people to resolve this problem. After each conversation my reservation was rescheduled again. One helpful employee was on the phone with me to wait for the confirmation to come in and it was done incorrectly as well 9pm instead of 9am. The equipment was fine staff helpful, but scheduling person was NOT competent!ANNA S.

Burnt out fuse in truck for trailer lights caused significant departure delay. Pickup location did not have fuse in stock. I was compensated with one extra day for rental return date, which proved to be very helpful.WILLIAM N.

The manager was really nice to have received my return, I went a couple of hours more than my intended return time and went beyond my mileage, but he was kind enough to not charge me extra and checked me out as quickly as he can. It was a very wonderfully pleasant experience! Would use the business again!PAUL C.
I was satisfied with the service at this location however my reservation at the original location was not met. I showed up but the truck I reserved was not there. Your Customer service department said the best they could do was to get me a truck for the next day at a different and much further away location for the next day. This delay caused me problems and increased my costs as the mileage went up! Unlikely to rent from U-Haul again.ROBERT Z.

Interestingly enough, I needed my Uhaul hitch (that was installed at that very same location) removed to install the new one and was told there's not way that the hitch can come off my truck (which is all drop in bolt thru frame - not uni-body) and that 2 or more of the bots are stripped. I was actually told this and now I'm left to figure all of this out. It's interesting because no one and I mean no one has done anything to the hitch ever since I've owned the truck meaning the last people to touch the hitch was UHAUL. I don't understand how this is my situation to deal with when I didn't make the situation. Also, they never even tried to use a impact drill and only used hand tools which I'm sure contributed to the stripping of my bolts. Worst interaction and reason ever from any place.JASON S.

It had nothing to do with Bolingbrook. I was supposed to pick truck up at two other places but was to drop truck off to them, which made no sense. Also no key for padlock, had to call police and watch my truck all night cause we didn't get done loading up. Very dissatisfiedROBERT W.

Great friendly pleasant easy to communicate with, very helpful, suggestive, understanding. I needed to rent truck longer than anticipated. Only question asked of me was â€œ Would you like to extend another dayâ€ ? â€œ Hey no problem it's done.â€ Very friendly family atmosphere. Once I returned the vehicle they even gave me a ride 8 miles to my destination. Other companies can learn from these people at this location in Bolingbrook Illinois on how to treat customers or employees. Treat them like family. Always wear a mask whether you believe in them or not. As a Courtesy to All others. Because you do not Know what someone else may be going through with their health on top of or before COVID. I booked a U-Haul storage unit combined with renting a moving truck and trailer. However, when it came time to pay for the storage unit, the location changed to the wrong city. The first representative I spoke to said that I would have to drive to the other city to cancel the unit. The second representative I spoke to canceled the wrong location and left the contract open for the unit that I did not want. After speaking to three representatives, I decided to use a different storage company. U-Haul is overpriced for the terrible customer service they have.Keith T. | Online Move In
Most of the staff was great. Had a bad experience with a lady there (forgot her name). The day we moved August 30th the elevators were broken and we had to move everything from a 3rd floor. It was very hot. Never received a call from management for a follow up. Not even a "hey we're so sorry for the inconvenience". Nothing.
