We have used this location on multiple occasions, but this was our last. When we went to pick up the moving truck and the reserved equipment, the appliance dolly did not have straps so they didn't even offer the dolly to us, but instead brought out the smaller dolly. We had made a reservation 4 days in advance. We had told the girl that it was reserved and her response was, "well you can reserve it, but it doesn't mean we have it". Ok, well then why didn't someone notify me so we could have made other arrangements. Of course, we were upset and that pretty much set the tone for the whole experience. Very unfriendly and unapologetic for not having what we reserved. Basically, it was 'that's not my problem, but yours' kind of attitude. Fortunately, we have other moving rental options in our area and will be using those from now on.

Fix these problems: The driver's side door had to be slammed to get it to close. The check engine light was on the whole time, but was told by staff that it wasn't a problem.

The young lady who handled our rental of two trucks was outstanding. Her explanation of process and the equipment made the transaction go smoothly. She was working solo with a number of customers by herself, each of which she was patient, though, and professional.

Carol was awesome, very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Trailer was clean and in good shape. However the tires seemed to be out of balance. I wouldn't drive faster than 50 on interstate and only 40 on secondary roads

I filled all the gas back up the way I received it and they charged me $18 and marked it lower than where the gas actually was🤬

The process to return the truck using the app was confusing and difficult to follow. I had to take multiple pictures of the various parts of the truck and some of these were repeated. It was dark and raining when I was doing this.

I didn't see this location when I booked online. The 2 locations that showed up were Highland Ave, Benton Harbor, and Niles, MI. I have used this location before and just turned up, assuming this was the location I had booked online. The service rep was super-helpful and changed my booking with no issues. I highly recommend this location and the u-haul team.

the lady who waited on me was very unprofessional-she was eating and talking to me while eating candy -she also was texting during our conversation. She lied to me about the mileage and the services that was supposed to be provided to me, I ended up calling the corporate office to get help. Which the woman at corporate helped me and was very polite.

I met a very friendly and helpful person at 8am in the morning. She asked me to estimate how many miles I would be driving the truck. I said between 50-75 miles. But upon my return I got charged for 75 INSTEAD of the 61 actual miles. Could this be fixed on my bill and my debit card statement. Also the truck's cab was very filthy and need to be cleaned.

The windshield was filthy on the inside, I was not able to see out of it. I had to stop and clean it. Could not drive in the dark nor drive in the rising sun or rain. Very dangerous.

I would have rated this UHaul facility higher, however, things have been going downhill since we first rented a unit over a year ago. The card reader in the back of the building by the ramp wouldn't work and I was given excuses as to why that was. Because it wouldn't work I had to go around to the front of the building and use that card reader. Also the flat cart went missing in the building making it difficult to transport heavier/bigger pieces. The facility was clean, but not well maintained as mentioned previously. The door by the ramp also was difficult to get open from the outside and we had to use force from the inside to get it opened. A lot of the times, both doors would also be left opened and not shut properly.

I didn’t like the storage unit I got bc it’s inside the building & my couch can’t go thru the door, all the other units were occupied so my suggestion would be to expand so that u would have more Space to put other storages

When I was bringing my second load of stuff into my storage unit 385 way in the back their was uhaul trucks in the way blocking the way to go out so I had to reverse all the way back just so I could go return the uhaul into the return lane..Then when I was telling the guy that I was blocked in ..he said well ur gonna have to reverse..but what if I couldn't do it..but anyways he was kinda rude.

The customer service representative Eric who checked me in at the store site was very helpful. The previous night I spoke with a customer service representative by phone in the U-Haul call center and in speaking with him I requested if I could extend my truck return time at no charge and he assured me that that would not be a problem. he offered to extend my time to 5 PM with no charge. I clarified with him that there would be no charge and he assured me it was a courtesy and there would be no charge. When I arrived at the store apparently that conversation with the call center had not been noted on my account and the system charge me $54 for the time extension Eric was very helpful and courteous and rectifying the problem for me and helping me to choose a storage unit that suited my needs. He was also helpful and getting the truck maneuvered to where I could unload easily. Eric is a very helpful courteous and respectful customer service representative. Thank you Eric!
