The truck late all over me and my cargo. I was told it had 3/4 of a tank and it did not it was barely over a half of a tank. Plus I was told to return it in Christiansburg because they needed the equipment which is 30 minutes away from me but I took it there and the parking lot was full of trucks. The hours the facility out open are ridiculous. They close at 7pm! Now who gets off work at 7pm most people work. Those hours of operation are not beneficial to anyone except maybe the employees that work there. Also the employees there especially the hateful old man at the front are not friendly or very useful. Didn't even let me know that I didn't have to buy a lock until I came back to they then told me that they forgot to give a lock...Employees seemed pretty lazy!! Thats All!! Truck was excellent condition and very easy to drive, even on I-81. Uhaul changed the drop off location in a text message the day before pickup. Person at the drop off location said to just park the truck and put the keys in the drop box. Didn't have anything else to do with it.WILLIAM M.
The staff is very rude. An older gentlemen approached the manager at 8:55 and asked â€œDo you open at 9?â€ The manager replied â€œMaybe. I'm guessing this is your truck and you're not going to get it until I'm done cleaning. So it'll be ready when it's ready.â€ I felt very bad for the older man. Complete disrespect. The entire staff is unmotivated to be there - and to be honest, if you're paying well, you can do better. We need these trucks so they will keep being rented, but the customer service at this location is extremely poor and looks bad on Uhaul.Justin B.

We rented a Vanâ€¦it was so dirty we had to wipe down stirring wheel and all areas we had to touch. Locks, handles etc. Plus it smelled bad. Being a former uHaul employee I was very unhappy with the condition of the van. Don't think it had been cleaned inside in a long time.Mary H.

This is the place to get your moving truck or trailer. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made the drop off process really easy. Although don't expect to find an available storage unit.Thomas F.
The cargo trailer I rented, was useless. The door jammed open the first time I opened the door. I was unable to get any use out of it. After trying for 3 days straight, to contact the place I got it from, being left on hold for hours each time, I returned it to the closest u-haul location. It was only in my possession for a week. So now, for reasons out of my control, I am expected to pay around $450 for an $18 trailer that was not in good enough condition to be rented. All of which, could have been avoided, if that trailer would have been inspected after it was last rented.ERIN V.

The truck was clean and tidy. Although you have to pay extra for any and all equipment such as a dolly which should be provided considering what u have to pay for the rental. I payed 60+ $ for 24hrs and only drove the truck about 9 miles to and from. I also rented a storage with them for 120$ monthly. Which I figured I would get a discount since it did say. 1 month free storage with rental but that was never even mentioned. The employee wasn't very informative with any information. I didnt feel welcome and that they didn't really want to be there.AMANDA H.

Rep in store walks back into building without acknowledging my greeting. Literally didn't say a word for a minute after I told him I was returning the trailer. Poor. People Had no clue where there equipment was. Walked me by the trailer I was renting twice. Then said I can't find your trailer. I asked the lady if that was my trailer sitting right there in front the store that we had walked right by. They made sure I did the walk around to make sure there was no damage. Well when I open the trail it was still dirty inside. Had been used to haul trash and it leaked all inside.. no one had a mask on in this store.MATTHEW N.

Everything. The app does not work and this is the third time you cannot use it to pick up a truck and during COVID that's a real pain in the ass for those trying to be safe. The truck had multiple issues and didn't have any kind of a wipe down which is obvious. Basically if I catch the damn virus within a week I'm sure I know where it came from.....,BRANDON SETH B.

I booked a large storage unit before moving here. Talked to the store twice to confirm. Upon arrival, they had no record of my reservation and did not have the unit size available. I did get some units together that suited my needs, just was concerning with moving across the country with truck on its way. The staff was courteous and helpful, I rented a truck a couple times as well as having the units and they were great with that as well. I reserved two storage units by phone from out of town. Talked to them one the phone twice but when I arrived they did not have anything reserved for me. I had a truck coming from out of state the next day. Fortunately they had three units that i could reserve since there were no large units available.
