Customer service was above and beyond! They were informed that my phone wasn't working properly. They took care of it all, even tho I didn't have a good phone. It's real hard to find a company that works with you without having to have you do everything online. They took care of all the tech work for me. I GIVE THEM FIVE STARS!!! They were so incredibly kind. I'll be recommending them to everyone in need! :)
Samantha W.Hello I think I recharged for a 2 day rental for a less amount because I didn't use the 20 miles only drove 11 I believe. So I have wait for a refund credit deposit I'm permanently disabled not working live on every bit of my income very low. I wasn't informed that a withdrawal was going to be made. As my account is now empty I need gas and help no cash to offer until next week.I also asked for a copy of a agreement for a 2017 and I never received the page of mine and Peter's signature this causes stress. Allen F.Overall experience was good. The truck we rented did have a bad tire but we were able to make it through our move without having to replace the tire. I would just recommend that the tires we double checked before releasing to the customer.

By the time I see it, the period for answering the texts has expired. These texts are expecting unsafe behavior -- especially for someone driving unfamiliar vehicles.

AMBER S.Store opens at 9am on Sunday, made the reservation for 8am to use the self pickup (worthless), the self pickup service is a joke, took a hour to get nowhere (On line customer service is worthless, so if you're planning on using it, do yourself a huge favor and just wait for the store to open). Once the location opened, was in and on my way in less than 5 minutes
Jesse M.If you can avoid it, don't use Uhaul! 1. Didn't deliver my u-boxes on time 2. Very confusing “confirmation†process where they repeatedly call you to confirm both your pick-up and delivery of the u-box to the new location, however they will tell you that the person who does the scheduling is different than the person you actually talk to so they'll claim they never received your confirmation. 3. The furniture pads that are included with the u-box have a blue dye that severely stains everything you put them on 4. Items arrived damaged and broken. Absolutely stressful and an overall awful experience. I booked my U-box reservation over 3 months in advance. However, a few days before my scheduled container drop-off date Uhaul called me stating that due to their poor planning and scheduling with the drivers they have to either deliver my U-boxes over a week early or not at all. They said if I couldn't move my scheduled dates I wouldn't be able to receive the U-boxes. At that point it was too short notice to schedule another moving option so I had to get special permission from both my apartment complex and city to keep the U-boxes in the parking lot for over a week due to Uhaul's own issue where they literally told me "yeah we didn't schedule enough drivers and the drivers we do have are over their hours". But the MOST STRESSFUL PART was when trying to "confirm" the delivery of my Ubox container at the new location I was moving to. I received a voicemail at 6pm the night before Uhaul was supposed to deliver my U-box, where a random lady from Uhaul left an angry voicemail saying that "you need to provide another confirmation or else I won't schedule your delivery". I received this voicemail AFTER CONFIRMING SEVERAL TIMES WITH UHAUL ALREADY over the phone each time Uhaul had called to confirm! However, when I called the number back, it would take me to different Uhaul workers who kept saying "no we don't handle scheduling" and then the Uhaul workers would hang up! FINALLY the person who threatened to not deliver my U-box called me back after I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get in touch with her and all she said was "no I am the only person who can schedule the deliveries, I don't know who you talked to about confirming your delivery but it was not me." She was incredibly rude, stressful, and unhelpful. Imagine trying to do a cross-country move with all your stuff and literally the night before the container is supposed to be delivered the company threatens to not deliver it because they have issues on their end! Incredibly stressful experience, would not recommend this to anyone!

Not to mention, the day of install was changed the day before original date of install, Ashley, the manager of this facility, left a message about a scheduling conflict, I called her back and left a message for her to return my call, no reply. I will not be back to this facility for any reason, short staffed, and inexperienced installers, kept leaving the install to help out the front desk person. 9 and a half hours to install a hitch, unacceptable!!!

Jodi F.Took forever to just do paper work and get the contract done. The staff seemed more annoyed at my presence and the fact they had to do something. Then your rep had to hook up the trailer and then take a picture of it, taking up more of my time. Ultimately I had to adjust the safety chains to the correct length myself. The trailer itself had worn straps for the tires and the ratchets barely moved. I've always gotten better service elsewhere at different uhaul locations. I'll be hard pressed to return to this location.

Create a system that doesn't require me to speak to over 6 people in a variety of locations and states with 4 hours of phone calls over 2 days before receiving my stuff in an unprofessional manner. Every single employee I spoke with was great, especially the guy who cut his vacation short to fix UHaul's problems and deliver my stuff. He shouldn't have had to do that. The employees are wonderful, and the system failed them and me. UHaul has to do better if they want to retain talent and keep customers coming back. You likely lost this one.
Zachary J.I will partially take the fault for not checking the email confirmation when I got it but when I reserved the vehicle I specifically requested a cargo van. It was what I rented a year ago and it worked out very well. I'm not sure how the young woman who took my order turned it into a truck as I was clear about what I wanted. If I had checked the order right away I would have tried to get it corrected. Last year I gave this facility an Above Average rating as I got what I requested. This year I am giving it a Poor rating. I will be renting another cargo van next year and am hopeful for a better result.

Scot N.One of the people that was behind the counter was very rude. Not just to me but another gentleman as well. The dolly was broke too. Should have been like a rubber tracks on the appliance dolly to help go up and down stairs. Also all of the time that I rented vehicles from U-Haul I have always gotten a break on mileage because I have to drive far to get the vehicle from U-Haul. Nothing… so I will definitely think twice before I rent anything from U-Haul again.

thomas P.I think when your renting a trailer or truck for at least 24 hours there should be grace period when it comes to returning equipment especially if the business is closed when returning. I returned the trailer that I rented 2 hours late and had to pay for another full day. Had I known I was going to be charged for another 24 hours I wouldn't have rushed to get everything done that night. I also think it would be great if you reached out to one of those companies that have the donation boxes and had one put on your property. I believe they are only for apparel but when moving in or out of a storage unit your likely to come across some clothing, a coat or something similar that you want to donate.
Rebekah S.The issue came from corporate. I rented a trailer for motorcycle. They gave me an open trailer without enough descent tie down spots. The trailer sits high enough that you can't safely pull The bike on without possibly dumping the bike onto the edges of the trailer. I had to find angles to level out the tailgate. The biggest issues were that they rented a trailer not well suited for my needs without enough tie down locations

Jodi F.Customer service was horrible. Walked in to rent a truck and storage unit was told none (trucks)were available. He told us to go else where. Went to the car and went online to possibly reserve one because the guy inside was completely rude and didn’t even check to see if one was available and sure enough we could rent one and reserved. It went back inside and ask if there was a difference between reserving online and walkins and he stated no and proceeded to tell me that if it’s after 12 they will deny any reservation and then said I will do it this one time. Today as I drove past the same trucks that were there yesterday or still there, so did he really have reservations? Who knows? Worst customer service ever

Sierra B. | First ImpressionsThe young woman who helped me didn't come across as very pleasant when the rental process began and gave me some rather unfriendly and uninformed answers to a couple of my questions. I'm renting the space on behalf of my son, who is now homeless, broke and trying to figure out how to get his life back on track. I did not share this with her on the front end - not really her business. But when I asked how a single, very alone homeless person would be able to meet the 2 phone number/different address requirement, she said "well, if they're homeless they couldn't afford to rent" in a very dismissive tone. I let her know that I was renting this on behalf of my son because of his situation. As a 70 y/o woman on a fixed income, I can afford $40/mo but not rental on anything liveable. We have no family anywhere else within hundreds of miles and not a lot of friends. I realize the rental storage units do have problems with people abusing the facilities, but truly, there are people out there who have SO very little, would like to hang on to at least a scrap of dignity - and replies like hers can be very hurtful. A tone of compassion rather than 'talk to the manager" would have been appreciated. She did seem to be way more helpful after I informed her of the situation, but I shouldn't have needed to do that. Otherwise, the facility itself was in very good condition and easy to use.
