Mechanicability of 15 ft. Truck was abyssmal. Every time I tried to brake, the engine would REV UP then act like it was ready to stall, then finally come to a whiplash, jerky stop. I just prayed we would make it to our destination without getting into an accident. HORRIBLE! :(Phylicia P.

The truck I rented was very clean and had a pleasant smell. I was expecting more of a mechanical smell if you can get what I mean. This couple definitely takes care of their UHaul vehicles!Shanna P.

The door ways are 47 inches wide and you cannot get a standard 48" pallet through them easily at all. Also there are pipes and locks that come into that area too when you're trying to move pallets so its even worse. So it might be fine for residential items but pallets are pretty much a No go. I recently took over my deceased husband unit in September 6, 2021 and I was told the unit was already in default only because he passed away on Aug 24th. My unit was empty with the exception of a chest drawer, all other personal and valuable items was removed. I ask the owner where was my husband belongings and he wasn't able to explain what happen to missing items from the date August 10th of last payment received up until Sept 6th when I took over unit contract. I know they have cameras to verify who/when other belonging disappeared. I filed a police report because this action is unacceptable. It appears my items was stolen at this storage without any explanation or backup cameras to identify I'm TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED and will never use or recommend this UHaul Storage location to ANYONE!Atawan T. | Overall Experience

The vehicle was dusty and dirty! The vehicle gas gauge was not where the so called system stated it was supposed to be. Even after putting gas in the vehicle and telling the representative I had the receipt to show that gas was put it and the gas gauge had not moved I was still charged $8 for gas and I only went up the street and back. The truck smelled like pee or farm animals. Horrible experience to have to drive in that and have everything smelling like pee afterwards. Also saw a roach. This was contactless pick up, next time I will be doing all in person so I don't get stuck with a truck like that again. Yes, part of the 24/7 return process is to take pictures of the vehicle. Well that as fine except at the time I returned it was pouring rain and there was no way in hell I was going to go out in the rain to take pictures. I then found a gas station with an overhang but about that time my phone died. When I finally got the charge there was no way to continue but I had already dropped my key in the box so I would not be able to again get a picture this time of where the gas level was. If there was a way to capture picture other than directly in the app and be able to upload them then the sequence would not be so rigid. So bottom line I had to wait 30 minutes until rain stopped take pictures of the outside fund the fuel picture because I no longer had access to the vehicle but I just wanted to get it done in the time frame so I did not get charge extra. Lesson learn, I will never do that again.Bravell D.

Whenever I came to return the truck, the employee that was working the desk was very rude, repeatedly asking me to "just answer the question," when I was trying to explain my thoughts whenever I was asked about my experience with the rental. "It's a simple question, just answer it next time," was said to me multiple times, and I don't think that this is a very good way of treating someone who is just trying to get done with their stressful weekend of moving everything they own across town. I don't usually care, but I don't think that I deserved to get treated that way for just trying to explain my thoughts. The guy that I rented the truck from in the first place was really nice, though, so it sucks that everyone can't be that way. Oh well, at least I don't have to go back there.Dawson P.
