The customer service guy was barely awake and moved as slow as a snail. When I returned the vehicle a different guy said leave and I will email the bill. When I got the bill I wanted some clarification, so I called the office and the lady was not able to give me a clear explanation!! I was not impressed with the customer serviceWendy T.

This is the location that I originally wanted to rent from. There mistakes cost me $100. I attempted to call your customer service but the call dropped 2 times. This company overall is poorly run. I have heard several stories talking to family and friends that are similar. Canceled/ lost bookings and dropped calls. Unlikely to ever use Uhaul again unless significant improvements are made to customer service and computer programming.Eric S.

In and out was easy, but the van was dirty. Mattress and box spring we used it to move ended up dirty where they were pinched and moved against the sides of the van. Van had â€˜change oil soon' message on the dash.John C.

The tire pressure should be checked upon departure. I noticed a low tire on the third rental day. I contacted road side assistance, they could not help me for 24 hours. I drove back cautiously, (5hours) stopping regularly to check the tire pressure and filled the tire to a safe pressure to get home. Not impressed by the "no service"Michael M.

At my pickup point, I was given a vehicle with almost no gas in it, but was told there was a quarter of a tank in the vehicle. When I dropped it off I explained the situation and the customer service rep said I wouldn't be charged a fuel surcharge due to this issue. The next day I was charged $70 despite this agreement. Honestly after my last experience I was getting ready to be scammed again with extra charges but with this location I paid what I was told I would pay. I rented a truck to move my friend to Toronto and reserved a truck, I picked it up and made sure to record everything using my camera. I dropped it off at night and got billed the next morning and I am simply happy how smooth it was. No extra bs charges or anything, thanks!!!Abdullah A.
No dolly, I reserved it on line and was told they are all out as is first come first serve? I got there at 7:15am that was unacceptable. Also I reserved a10' truck it was changed to a 15' I was not told and found out Friday, one day before moving day. This truck was amazing but a pig on gas, it cost me $115.00 in gas probably double what the 10' would have been. I was over on the expected KM. So hopefully I was not charged for that to make up the difference in gas money spent.Michael B.

A suggestion is that the representative at the front desk when I picked up the truck should advise the customer why they are taking a picture of my driver's license on their cell phone, also we were not able to get dolly (this seems to be quite customer as my other rental last year same thing)Patrick D.

Seeing that you don't rent out trailers after the store has closed I feel you should not charge a full second period unless the rental is not returned prior to the next time the store opens. When booking last minute prior to the Labour Day log weekend, we were quite concerned about availability. We reserved a truck on-line, but were told to call customer service to discuss the booking. You CSR was extremely friendly and professional when explaining the truck we booked could not be left in the destination city (i.e one-way). She explained that the return mileage would be covered if we could return it to the original location, which we did without issue. Thanks for making a stressful event much less so as we moved our kids to University!.CLAYTONM J.
Dropped off the trailer on time and was told a receipt would be emailed to me. Email was never sent. Called few days later and asked for the final receipt. Received receipt and was charged for a second day (indicating I was late returning). Had to call again and get the overcharge reversed. Worse experience ever. No appliance dolly, and I had reserved one. I had to drive across town to pick one up at another store and charged me that mileage plus gas with no compensation. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I had requested a dolly well in advance with my order, but I was told there is no dolly. If an order is placed, preference should be placed on the order and should not be based on first come first serve. The two gentlemen working in the location were not wearing masks in the building. When asked by another customer to put one on one of the two commented that they were not needed and did nothing. he said they were hot and uncomfortable to wear so they were not. We all have personal opinions about what is right but it is the law to wear a mask indoors at all businesses. I have a photo if you need it as proof as well.STEWARTM R.

The truck was dirty. The truck drove very badly; the steering handling was quite tough and not an enjoyable ride at all. The brakes were not sharp at all. The lady also had an attitude, but guess she may not have had her coffee that early in the morning. Overall, not a good experience for me and i used to run q Uhaul franchise up to 2019. Very poor installation quality. Wiring harness installed totally disorganized, zero effort made to properly route power cord from trunk to battery, parts left loose in hood, siding incompletely reattached in trunk. Will need to redo most of the work. Went to U-Haul because I expected better quality than I could do myself without a lift, instead paid for 1 hr of labour that definitely took no more than 30 min. Recommend installing yourself or asking your mechanic to do it, at least that gives you reliable quality at an honest price.Kevin C.
I was surprised that I could manage to drive safely a 15' truck from Burlington to Hamilton and return. Staff were great. I would never suggest calling this location however because no one answers the phone. I booked in person. I am in my 70's and the toughest part was getting in and out of the truck. I am 5'3". The expansion of locations is not well served by your software. It appears you need an overhaul in that department. It would serve customers if they could call and talk to their renter on the phone. My experience was great until I emptied my unit I called to get information and was told that I did not wait till the end of my pay period and my account would be adjusted and pro rated for the time I used. However when I tried to settle my account I was told that customers have been told that but it was not what was on his computer and he would look into it and get back to me As of today I have heard nothing and I have not received a credit Can you please rectify?
