helping to hookup trailer to car. very slow service .

I was over-charged for the trailer rental, for a "safe towing" fee of $8 per day which I did not request. The woman at the counter was told this at time of renting, but the charge has appeared on my credit card regardless. I am appealing to have this removed.

The vehicle was as advertised. The call centre was quick to resolve the issue. The location operations was a shambles. I did the quick check in option uploading my license etc. When I arrived they could not find my booking. “Someone had canceled it”. Then they found it. Next they told me the vehicle had to be returned by 9am as it was on another rental. My booking was for 24 hours from 2pm. The clerk adjusted the rental period accordingly. The paperwork then said 12.59. I queried this and was told no problem bring the vehicle back at (by this time 230). At 9am the next morning I received email text and phone calls saying the vehicle needed to be returned as another customer was waiting. I called the number on the text and spoke to a call centre person who quickly fixed the issue and I got a confirmation text for 230 return. The clerk at the location clearly didn’t have the training or skill to use the system. Why was my rental cancelled, then adjusted to 9hrs not 24. I will not use that location and I will not recommend it. I will post this review on my local network.

i Returned my truck ahead of time but the location did not mark it in. I got a call from someone from your head office and an email asking about the truck but you did not call the dealer first. I could tell the person on the phone was American so I suggest in the future you contact your local dealer before you-reach across boarders. Solve your own problems before you blame costumers. Your approach is filthy but I expect nothing less from americans

Was charged for extra mileage for no reason. There were no extra miles driven except for the pick up location was further than the pick up location requested

Not overly friendly or cooperative. When renting a trailer I always book/reserve a bundle of moving pads and without exception they indicate upon arrival to pick up the trailer that there are no pads available and that they are first come first serve. After a brief argument the clerk over the past three rentals has always found a bundle of pads for me. Why the hassle for pads and or moving dolly? Can you resolve? Pads are always required when moving.

When I arrived, my 5x8 closed trailer was not there, so they changed my order to a smaller open one. tried to give me a lerger one, but the trailer was too big for my car to haul. Finally, Mike the manager, offered me a deal to take a van. While it was a very reasonable deal, I ended up not being able to bring passengers (which my car with trailer wouold have done), and I was 1 1/2 hour late to move my daughter, so I lost the help of 3 extra people. As well, it still cost me 4X what I would have paid for a trailer. Mike tried as best he could with the situation. AND your website keeps crashing and freezing and the phone system is extremely poor!!!!!!!

And would like to say I was at the main way location in Burlington first and they are even worse ?? With be looking to another Company next time

1. Stay true to your word if you quarter price of 278 stick with it don’t blindside the client and charge them 403 2. For your customer service line 1 customer service person says one thing in my example 24 hours call back when I call back in 24 hours the second customer service representative says to call back and 78 hours that’s what was supposed to be told to you the first time so how to resolve this management there’s too many Chiefs and not enough Indians ever hear this expression I would suggest you have a group meeting with all your representatives and tell them to get their story straight is it 24 hours or is it 78 hours if I ran your company some people would be fired 3. Make sure your equipment is roadworthy I just had the worst experience with a trailer I swear that was made in 1902 when I went over it with the dealer at pick up there’s a big ass hole in the front some of the lights did not work the trailer door Was extremely loose thank goodness I brought a reliable lock for the door just swings open so again Uhaul CEO make sure your equipment is thoroughly looked after prior to renting it out because with this experience is my very last time I rent from you I am done I will buy my own trailer thank you very much

The wait for service was at least longer than 5 minutes. Only one staff member working. Also, I had paid to rent a furniture dolly, which was not provided for me so I will be asking for a refund. This wouldn't be my preferred uhaul rental location.

Was told twice we could get a refund. Moved out on the 3rd not the 8th. Never signed a contract stating no refund. Need a refund asap. Manager said I would get one either partial or full.

the unit was leaking and destroyed some of my stored files the unit became infested with mice and the place became littered with mice droppings the mice ate my clothes stored in a plastic bin

After a rocky start locating my shipment the staff at the Burlington office in Ontario and Kenaston in Winnipeg were very helpful
