Elizabeth T.I am one payment behind because I had to go on unplanned LTD. My pay dropped considerably but I stayed with UHAUL over 5 years. I feel the penalties for late payments are ridiculously high and the letter sent out threatening to taking your belongings is extremely upsetting, especially for someone like me who suffers with severe mental and medical ailments. Remember your dealing with some people who are depressed and suicidal. I would appreciate ifsomeone from head office can call me at 416 885 9104 asap so I can elaborate on the effects on me and get some reassurance rather than multiple, very negative letters, via mail and email several times a week.

I was put threw hell & back. 1st the person before my order didn't bring the truck back. then i wait for hours. then you lend me a smaller truck after hours of waiting. then you call & tell me my truck is back. I come back & wait again. then the male manager tells me I don't have to pay for it & they are also giving me a $50 credit. Then he also says I can keep the truck overnight as compensation. Then my wife calls the next day & says we were having trouble closing the door which is why the truck was an hour late. then my wife speaks to the rude manager KIM which not only is not returning the call back she told my wife she would make, but also says that the male manager never offered any of those things that he told my husband. so they do give us the 50. credit but they charge us for the rental, the late return, & the second rental. Then I tell the rude KIM manager that I want to speak to a manager at head office & she says " I'll give you the number of the guest that was late bringing back the trailer & you can yell at them" I'm completely in shock! I can't believe this women had the nerve to offer me a private number of your customers, but i clearly didn't take her up on her offer which isn't acceptable & private against any customer service company. My wife then calls the 1800 number & the women there says my wife will get a call back from the highest manager of uhaul. well its been almost 2 months & no one has had the consideration to followup on the hell my wife had gone through with you horrible customer service and the customer privacy issue that this so called horrible manager KIM from the Ajax location.

Timotheus V.The agent who checked me in doesn't seem to be a good fit for a customer facing role. For eg: When I presented myself at 11:15 AM for my 10 AM reservation she informed me that my truck hadn't come yet and I should come back in an hour. I asked her to check again and she was extremely condescending in her manner and told me to "just hang out" as there is no other truck. I asked for different size options in that case and that's when she realised she had made a mistake. That's ok, people make mistakes. I do too. Yet an apology or acknowledgement would've been nice or at the very least some toning down of her condescending tone. Alas! That was not to be. It continued with her asking for a back up name and phone number and then informing me that I am the only person allowed to drive. I said, that I will be the only one driving, to which she replied, "that's what I just told you." She mumbled a long list of instructions and if I had a question or a clarification about any of her instructions, I got an eye roll and just further talking down to. What surprised me is that all the other staff members that I had to interact with, including the girl who I returned the truck to, were excellent and very friendly and helpful. As I went to get my truck, it was boxed in between other trucks and I just went looking for other staff members to help me as I really did not want to deal with the girl checking me in even though she was free. I wish to point out that I didn't complain to her about our interaction and didn't want to escalate or create a scene. I just smiled and received my keys and got the help I needed from other employees. It was moving day for me and I had no desire for a confrontation. I wouldn't have called in to complain or even mentioned this but then Uhaul sent me emails asking for my feedback so here it is!

roger B.You need to put signage in front of the loading/unloading to prevent people from parking there all day. It's unnaceptable that I bring my 15' U-Haul on My scheduled moving day and there's a bunch of sedans parked directly infront of the unloading area preventing me from parking my vehicle and making unloading somewhat easy. Other than that my experience was great the guy at the counter was very helpful and allowed me to pull my truck up onto the grass as no spots were available to park. Please correct this or you will have many unsatisfied customers and possible vandalism issues at hand.

I was called the day before my move out of city to be told that I had to return the truck within 24 hours. Ajax storage was actually able to extend it to 48 hours, but the traffic on the way back to the unit on Saturday took three hours to get through, then three hours to get back home That was a six hour waste of time after a full day of unloading a truck When I asked, for some sort of compensation, Kim sent me an email saying that “my invoice was correct and nothing was going to be done for the inconvenience” I hope that I never move again as U-Haul added so much stress to my moving day that I would rather pay a Moving Company, then go with U-Haul ever again

I only hold up 2 units currently and they are fully paid, and today i got email from Kim Jesson and claiming i own Uhaul money for the third unit, which i never rent it bofore, she charged me late fee for that unit. This is ridiculous and when i called for assistance to clear the situation, the girl who answered the phone was very rude and just transferred me to customer service and made me wait another 45 minutes. I just wasted an hour on things Uhaul made mistake on. This is not right. and still no one has fixed my problem yet. Just kept transferring to different departments and kept me wait.

Ferdinand L. | Overall ExperienceI have one complaint regarding the communications between the uhaul storage facility i have my belongings at and the head office in the US. There is a very obvious lag in communication between what is actually happening here and the late notices received weeks later. I have a credit card on file when I first arranged storage. I was not advised that auto payment was an option, I assumed that it would be the payment for monthly service. The person who set me up did not say anything. I then received a late notice and contacted the facility, the charge was removed. I was placed on auto payment, to my knowledge. I think received another late notice. I called again. My emergency contact also received a late notice and then I was frustrated. I called again and the person I spoke with did not listen to anything I said. She spoke over me, blaming the computer and basically blaming me for changing units. All of this in a matter of 2 months. Four notices in 2 months for no reason. My credit card was there the whole time and somehow she wanted to blame me. I went in yesterday to change the unit to a smaller one and the girl there was fabulous. I asked her to ensure that the autopayment was set up. She confirmed and was helpful. It's obvious to me that the US head office is not in the same time.zone and not on top of what is happening in reality. This represents poor customer service and ultimately cause unnecessary conflict here. I don't blame the staff here, but rather then place blame on the customer in this situation, the head office should provide a follow call to apologize for the time issues then place that on the staff here. It's unfortunate that this happens but very irresponsible of the company in the US
