Our drop off location in Fargo was one of the largest U-Haul facilities I've seen, with all kinds of vehicles for rent, all kinds of things a mover might need (boxes, bubble wrap, etc.), a very clean, new facility, and a very alert, helpful staff.JOHN C.

The renting process online was seemingly smooth, when I upgraded the size of the unit in store, it seemed my payment wasn’t processed the 1st time, kind of annoying but not a big deal, I rented the unit towards the end of the day, so I didn’t get a chance to come back and put a lock on my unit since they close at 1, so night manager locked it (Which I appreciate the extra care) but, it took them 3 days to remove the lock from my unit for different reasons like incorrect code, no one was available to unlock it, they needed to call a locksmith, they were busy and they just simply forgot… so I didn’t have access to the unit for almost 3 full days and I had to postpone a trip out of town.Eve B. | Online Move In

This is the most professional team I have ever seen, and their facility is the best there is! The staff there are all extremely helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and absolutely professional! U-Haul changed our drop-off location to Moorhead and we had to call and get it back to the 13th Ave Fargo location for drop-off. I'm not sure why the location was changed to Moorhead. That is not what I put in the reservation. That would have been a lot farther away to drop the truck off. When a customer puts in a drop-off location, it should stay that way and not be changed.Robert M.

Was given a uhaul with 1/4 tank and returned it with 1/4 tank and was then charged $47 because it was at 1/4 tank. They guy even said â€œit was returned at a 1/4 tank which is where it was supposed to be, butâ€¦â€ ??? So I paid $47 for maybe a gallon of gas absolutely ridiculousKatie R.

I was told to keep the fuel close to 3/8ths tank - I drove 17 miles and returned it just under 2/8ths. I got charged over 50 bucks for fuel. If I would have known I would have been charged that much I would have spent five bucks to fill it myself. Absolutely ridiculousMICHAEL B.

Truck ran terrible. Rough ride and bumpy ride. Front bumper on passenger side had previous damage and would slide down after driving. About 5 years ago I rented a uhaul. Same size 26'. It ran so smooth and was in wonderful condition. Not sure why I got such a crappy truck this time, the lot was full of other trucks. I did ask for a different location and your website showed there was an available 26' truck for that date. Closer to the rental date, I received notice of new pickup location. I called the main Uhaul number and the lady was rude. Also the website pickup and drop off wasn't working for me or my daughter. I had to go inside.BARBARA H.

We received a free month of storage with a rental of a Uhaul. I had emailed them regarding the charge for the next month, since the paperwork stated that they would be using an ACH. They never emailed me back and I received 2 late fees on my account, which caused my storage to also be locked by them. I received a phone call 3 weeks later saying they would remove the fees from my account if I paid them that day. I was furious when I found out that they had tried to charge my mother's credit card, the payment used for the uhaul rental the previous month. We did not agree to have this account charged and I told Shawn, management, that it was not ethical to charge a card without the owner's permission and asked why they waited 3 weeks to call and not reply to the emails. They apologized and then took my payment, but my storage room remained locked for a day and a half with their lock so I was unable to access it. I called and asked why this was and the person who answered said that it was his manager's fault and asked if I made the payment online. When I came in to close my storage I also had to wait over 20 minutes because the same guy left the other employee by himself at closing with a line of customers. This was by far the worst experience I've had with moving moving storage. I will not be doing business with Uhaul in the future.Lindsay F. | Overall Experience

No problems. Very satisfied with the facilities, especially glad to have the indoor unloading area, it was VERY hot outside that afternoon. Leah rocks!! I have rented a truck twice from this location and both times I was short in my estimate for how long I would need the truck. From Heather's mom who drove the truck: I first turned the trailer and tow dolly into Dahl's Mini Storage. The owner had to catch a flight for a family emergency so his area manager, Scott, took over. The men I'd hired to unload the truck locked my keys in the car. Scott bullied me and essentially said that if I didn't get it done immediately, he'd take possession of my things. I even offered to pay for another day and he said "no, just get your stuff off the truck". I called corporate and the woman there heard him. She said that to help, she was going to send me to another place to drop the trailer and it didn't have to be in until Sunday so I'd have time to hire someone else. (Scott scared them off) I asked about the charge and she said there'd be none because it wasn't my fault. I was so upset and shaky that I fell out of the truck when I moved it elsewhere. I was hurt and 911 had to send help. I'm still in excruciating pain. I was bawling while emergency services helped me. I've never been so upset. This is like a bad nightmare. I turned the trailer in a day early and received a bill of over $250 the next day. We already paid almost $200 over the original cost at Dahl's (and almost $80 for a storage bldg) and this shouldn't have cost anything. I've never had anything like this happen with UHaul. You're usually professional. I'm shocked and angry. The Uhaul place on 13th Street is the total opposite of Dahl's. They're kind and helpful.nancy m. | First Impressions

Everything went really, really well until I went to try to get into Bay 3/4. I wasn't told that the bay doors were locked and I didn't know how to get in. I went back to the office but no one was there to help (busy smoking out front) so I watched the monitor to see what other people were doing and I figured it out on my own. I would have preferred someone explaining it to me correctly the first time.....that I needed to enter my code twice in two different spots to get in.
