Originally reserved 26' online 2 weeks before pickup in Laughlin Nevada Storage. 4 days before pickup I was called and told that they could not find truck. 2 days before pickup date I was notified I would have to drive 22 miles to Golden Valley Az to pickup. The day of pickup I was told they did not have truck. I was then told to drive 113 miles one way to Las Vegas to pickup 26' truck, I was halfway there and â€œStacyâ€ called me and said that truck was not available now even though 1 hour earlier she said she called dealer and it was on the lot. I was then told there was 1 20' truck in Las Vegas which I finally picked up. I reserved 2 dozen blankets which I did not get and I called Las Vegas location and lady promised to take off bill NUT SHE DID NOT. The smaller truck is now requiring me to make another 1100 mile trip to finish delivering household items that would have fit in 26' truck. I am moving two 82 year old neighbors to get closer to their daughter because they have some extreme health issues. Stacy in your customer service dispatch group is useless in customer service. She promised that 26' truck was on the lot and she called the dealer, HOW WAS IT GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE? The staff in Milwaukie were outstanding, processed refund for blankets and return was very simpleJim O.

The location was fine, but we had zero running lights on the trailer. The helper checked brake and turning lights but not running lights. It wasn't until we were pulled over by highway patrol that we learned they did not work. We checked all our fuses and wires and they worked, yet the trailer did not. I traveled 60 miles on gps the truck logged in 93 miles. My 60 miles was also confirmed by two other vehicles. The location tried to charge me 1.09 per mile for miles I did not drive. I had to show them the GPS mile figures then they adjusted the bill. The truck had a bad drivers outside rear dually tire too. Please check the trucks more thoroughly, also recalibrate the odometer to verify miles driven. This was my experience. No bias just what I experienced.Chuck E.

I was informed that the vehicle I was renting should be returned cleaned or I might acquire extra fees. Which, before returning I took the truck to a car wash and had it cleaned. However, odd thing is when I got the vehicle at the start of my rental date, the truck was so dirty with bugs covering the front end - top to bottom. And the vehicle had dust or dirt layer around entire vehicle. Honestly, the appeal of the vehicle is not much of a big deal to myself. With that being said, over-all the vehicle drove very well and the handling was great. No issues there. As someone that rents Auto Transports on a regular basis, I have learned to always choose the location on Craig & Commerce even if it isn't the closest to me. Whoever manages this location has got to be the best in U-Haul. This morning I was greeted by Kayla right as they opened the doors at 7:00am. I was greeted with a smile and was in and out of the office within 3 minutes. Waiting for me outside was Vernon who should be on a Nascar pit crew. I was hooked up and on my way in under 3 minutes. I receive incredible service consistently every time I rent there. This location closes at 7:00 pm and I happened to drive in to the return area at 6:59. There was a van being checked in and cleaned in front of me, so I got to watch as Leveron cleaned and checked this vehicle and I was amazed. He thoroughly but rapidly checked the van within 5 minutes. It was spotless. It was amazing to watch, then, even after 7, he gladly checked me in and I was out of there in a flash.Richard P.

I have mentioned this before, while the staff was so very nice and accommodating the access to unload or load belongings was not as accessible as I would have liked. Trucks and storage pods and cars often filled the areas to the dock. They dismissed me on first attempt in that specific u haul center for some case they thought was invalid and had to pull some ropes to prove validity on credentials. Called them few days after if I could un-insure my car since it was literally parking outside my neighborhood and exhausted literally under 2 miles, one of the representatives said that i could uninsure the car and restart a new transaction then the following day ended up hearing unfortunate news that I couldn't so ended up paying for a storage truck I didn't drive nor use for days because of some misleading information then tows my truck saying the card was insufficient yet they were able to charge 500 something dollars to my account without my permission which I find violating my personal rights to my personal belongings and is hindered as fraud. Only able to access during office hours, and was told to deal with the loud alarms inside the building. I received my uhaul trailer at on obscure location outside of Austin TX. The address on your company email was incorrect that business move down the road and where I picked up the trailer was in a pasture quarter mile from the rental office. There were two 6x12s I asked which one and backed and hooked the one he said. No inspection of the trailer brought it to rental office and was charged $10 for an electrical adapter for my 2009 Tahoe still no inspection offered no jack nor trailer jack. They allowed me to leave. I discovered two tire were rotten requiring me to pull into a real uhaul rental business on Slaughter Ln in Austin where an employee changed both bad tires. Appears to me the other place where I picked the trailer at was a repair or mechanic shop not a rental outlet you want advertising your company name. The manager was not very friendly nor his assistant down in the pasture waiting for me. They offered information about the trailer allowed me to leave with two bad tires. Scarlett,extra helpful patient professional, product knowledgeable, Ramona storage unit knowledgeable patient hand cleaned and sanitize my unit personally prior to my move ( general manager) very friendly personable seems very focused and driven on having a top notch facility, there was even a new gentleman didn't have a t-shirt yet had kind of a long beard I could tell underneath its mask very friendly tried his very best to help me get hooked up with a trailer hitch for my truck, having to make an appointment to get a hitch installed in no 24-hour access I'm only two disappointments, I rented U-Haul for 2 years on Boulder highway Henderson 24-hour access for a truck driver is a good thing to have, then we may be in and out of town and have to get inside that storage room to get things or move things in and out it just makes good sense. Last but not least once you're assigned a vehicle one of the courtesy clerks should go and get that vehicle and pull it up to the front for you just as if you were bringing it back, I had to go and get my own truck and was blocked in by another truck so I second trip up to the office to get someone to move that other truck wasn't really a big fan of that.
