I ordered a 10" truck online to be dropped off at the Postal Annex by my house, then needed to add a tow dolly later. I called Uhaul to add the dolly and the rep didn't ask where I wanted to drop off the dolly, so she set the drop off location to the Uhaul store across town from the Postal Annex. When I called the Uhaul customer service number. I was on hold for 20 mins, then the call dropped before I could see if I could change the 2 different drop off locations to the same place. I went to the Uhaul store and an employee said I would have to leave the dolly there, then drive the truck back to the Postal Annex or I would get a fee for dropping off in the wrong location. I ended up going over my milage and paid a fee, partly due to the 2 separate locations. Drop off location should be discussed with the client when a reservation is made online. It was a confusing process to try to avoid extra fees. The LV employee was helpful and hooked up the dolly for us and walked us through installing the vehicle before we left. The Carson City employee gave us vague information, then walked away before we could explain the 2 drop off location situation. We sat in the truck Googling information for several minutes before he came back out to ask if we needed help unhooking the dolly. It was close to closing, so we tried to follow the do-it-yourself check in process, but the location service step was not working.

They called over 6 times to see when the truck would be turned in. I told them by 5 pm not one time did they that I would be charged an extra day. Not one person at the rental start place to the end place told me a time it had to be back other then they closed at 5 pm. I had to pick up from different place then rented from they could have given me the 5 extra hours free

You need to be more transparent on your website about U-Box pricing. It doesn't state that there is a delivery dropoff fee that is extra.

Since it's been a busy season for moving. I would suggest having it full staffed. Lesson the wait time and the exposure time. Customer service was great.

I know it was “busy season”, but the fuel tank should have (at the very least) a quarter of a tank of gas in it and not near empty when I rented it. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place. Excellent customer service was provided.

I had a blowout on my trailer tire due to a leaf spring clip loosing. These things happen. I get it. Everyone is safe, but maybe more thorough inspection of equipment? That blowout could have been bad, especially if there was a car behind me

I reserved online for a covered trailer 4 miles from my house. They called me last minute stating trailer is not available and open trailer is 10 miles away. Very inconvenient and i had no other choice but to go with guys as i was in a bind and people were expecting me. Isnt that what a reservation is for? To reserve a specific item????

The truck given to me overheated and broke down. I have submitted requests for a refund and the manager of this location has not bothered to call to try to work anything out. I had to drive an overheating truck from mesquite back to Vegas. Where I had to wait 6 hours the the entire cooling system to be replaced. Something good halls to be done! The owner and staff at the Decatur store were excellent. And have very good customer service.

Your online reservation system is beyond terrible. I reserved a trailer on a Friday afternoon. I went to the location to pick it up and they couldn't give the trailer to me, it needed repair. They checked the computer system and they told me that there weren't any other car trailers available in Las Vegas at the time. I woke up early the next morning and called your 800 number to see if they could find me a trailer. They said that there was one at a store on the other side of town from where I lived. I drove all the way there and they told me that they didn't have a car trailer, they didn't know why I was told that they did. That location found me a trailer, but when I got to the location it was being repaired, and I had to wait. That wasn't anything to do with the location, but your computer system does a terrible job of tracking equipment. You should figure a way to only show equipment that is on location and in rentable condition before you list it available on your site. Your system turned a simple task into a nightmare. I had a similar experience about a month ago, I was buying a car 250 miles from my house. I reserved a trailer in the city where I was buying the car. It was supposed to be ready at 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning. When I called to see if the trailer was ready it wasn't at the store. Luckily I was able to make other arrangements to get the vehicle Transported.
