The only thing is, if you are a few days late getting stuff out. They do not prorate. You pay the whole month.

JAMIE JI rented a van online, after walking around trying to find it for 5 minutes, we went inside and I had to wait another 5 minutes to even be greeted. They immediately told me they didn't have anything and blamed the online system for renting out something they didn't have. After I pushed, they looked into other options and were able to find me a small truck. The truck REEKED of weed and I had to drive with the windows down to avoid a contact high, it was sooooo bad. (Did I mention it was 20 degrees outside). Now I get my receipt and they charged me for gas, even though I returned it with 3/4 of a tank and I got it with 5/8!!! I put more gas in the tank than you gave me and you charge me, after not having my vehicle, giving me a nasty smelling truck and when I try to call the office I get a recording that says "we are having technical problems, please call again later."

HEATHER L(1) The first 26' truck had a blown tire. Didn't know it until we drove away. That should have been known/seen by the Uhaul employees before giving it to us. So we immediately drove it back and exchanged it for a second truck. (2) The second 26' truck had both of its front tires almost blown. Like, they were so bald and the tread was so worn that there was threading coming out on both tires. That was a dangerous situation, and again, should have been seen by employees and never presented to a customer to drive away. I asked for another (third) truck. (3) The third 26' truck started kind of funky. Like, it wouldn't just "start up" like normal. It would sound like it was about to die, and then at the last second start. But it did always start on the first try though, so I didn't think it was a problem. Well, on my way back from the move, while on my way back to return the truck, after I filled it up with gas, I went to start it, and it was dead. This was after just having driven it for the past 40 miles, so there's no way it should have had a problem starting. I never had left any lights on or anything causing it to drain the battery. I used roadside assistance and it was about 60 minutes from the time I had the issue to the time the truck was jumped by roadside assistance and I could drive away to return the vehicle. What I had imagined was just quirks with driving a large truck (sounding difficult while starting it) turns out was in fact an actual problem. Again, there's no way that this same sound of difficulty starting was not noticed by an employee who pulled up the truck for me to take to begin with. Like, come on, Uhaul. You wasted a lot of my time because of preventable delayed maintenance issues on three of your trucks. I've learned I need to be attentive to the detail (apparently moreso than the employees) and to take more pictures and ask more questions. (4) Other than the 3 issues above, the people themselves were kind and generally attentive. The actual driving of the truck and usefulness experience was great. The price was fair. The ease of checking it out and back in was good too.

GEORGE JMy credit card was charged twice for the rental. The employee that hooked up the trailer was very good. However, the employee that I talked with when returning the trailer did not seem to care. When I told him my name and that I put the trailer in the location I took it from, he said I was good to go. He didn't bother to check me in. The trailer was not checked in for two days and I was charged for 1.5 days when I had the trailer for about 3 hours. I will not use the location again.

BRIAN ATry not charging your customers twice for the equipment then expecting them to wait almost 3 weeks to get a refund…….. But they didn’t mind charging us an additional $45 cause the gas in the trucks tank was a sliver off, I’d never use U-Haul again for anything they suck!

LL T | Overall ExperienceThank goodness for the Meadowbrook Rd Location. Was suppose to P/U at a satellite location. Owner was not present (operating his primary business). Had the trailer there. Finally spoke with owner after a day of trying. Did not have the furniture or box dollys or furniture pads. He got frustrated and told me to go elsewhere. Went up to the Meadowbrook lane facility (which is where I wanted to go in the first place but the reservation center would not cooperate!). They were immensely helpful, transferred my reservation to their store and got me on my way with everything I needed! Moral of story, DO NOT USE SATELLITE LOCATIONS, PERIOD! I have had great experiences when dealing with real U-Haul stores many times over the last 7 years and will keep coming back.

DANIELLE Wthe trailer I needed to rent was sitting with two flat tires and had been sitting out of service for a while. I tried to rent this type of trailer twice in two different weeks uhaul only had two? at that location. The uhaul employee sent me out to hookup the trailer myself even though he was not busy.

APRIL HThe person at the desk was not very knowledgeable. I was told twice my trailer wasn't at the location however when I talked to someone else from the number I was given to check on my reservation that it was there. After 3 calls back and forth the lady told me she would call the location and straighten it out. She called back 5 minutes and said everything was good and I could pick up the trailer .

REBECCA HI rent from this location all the time, on this occasion I was in a hurry trying to beat the pending rain and forgot to look at the bed of the trailer. Once we got to our location, and began to load, my son said to me, dad this is filthy, I looked and was mad. I don't ever return dirty trailers or trucks. It's not polite for the next person. I called the rental location, but they were busy and it transferred to, I think, Phoenix. A very nice young lady took my complaint seriously and made notes to the file. She also requested that I should send pictures of the glass, dirt and other debris. I was given a email link to attach my photos to, which I did (2) of them. Once I returned the rental I took another pic, showing a cleaner trailer. I had also mentioned that it needed a power washing. I was really put off today, I hope this was a 1 and done disaster. JOHN MPlease, make adjustments and updates to the U-Haul app. It was a terrible experience. However, I was able to get my rental without any complications when I arrived at the store. I definitely recommend this place.
Andreon LNothing. Your employees did a great job ensuring my rental was ready to go, and took time and effort into ensuring my needs were met. I cannot recommend them enough.
NATHAN LQuit raising prices. I rented a unit that says $69 on the huge sign...but when the manager put it into the computer it was $80. Clean the storage building and units before signing them to customers. I was given a "ready " unit but it had big bugs, trash and water in it. After I called from the storage building to let the manager know, he gave me a different ready unit which was also dirty. I asked the cleaning person for items and cleaned it myself.

However, once I entered the storage unit, I saw leftover items from the previous renter. I did call the office to let them know that I'd pulled out all the leftover items. When I returned later that day to begin storing my items, the previous tenant's items were still outside the storage unit. Otherwise, this was a quick and easy experience. Gracias.

The manager refused and started cussing at me. Telling me that he will continue to bill be until I find my key and get my stuff out. They now say I owe them $1500 in fees. WORST PLACE EVER!
