The initial vehicle that was given to me could not turn on. The battery must have depleted. The 2nd vehicle that was given to me was parked way to close to the truck right to it. I had to slip underneath the side mirrors and squeeze into the the truck. The app kept on crashing, so I had to go in get my reservation. I tried resetting my password but never received a verification code in my email or text message.Timothy C.
I was quite disappointed with the service received when picking up the van. The one I received was covered in bird feces, I was also told that the van was parked in a certain location but could not find it in that location. After having to ask again, I was directed to the van which was crammed so tight into a parking spot that the side view mirror was touching the other van's side view mirror. Luckily I folded back the mirror before pulling out of the spot. I had no time to ask for a new van and was forced to keep the one I was assigned. The van should have been clean and ready for me to pick it up.Rachel K.

The install time should be a little more transparent. Uhaul offers a customer time to wait w the car. The install time of 3 hours is not a wait w the car kind of option. Other than that no complaints. I dealt with an employee named John who is excellent and professional.John M.

Online check in is a disaster and employees need better training in it. After I checked in online, I followed the instruction to go inside to retrieve the key. The associate in the store either was being lazy or truly didn't know how to operate a computer because when I asked him to verify the status of my rented dolly and other equipment and to pull it up on his computer because I was having trouble with UHaul's check in system, he said â€œwell you have your phone right there so why don't you just do it?â€ He continued to act inconvenienced by the fact that I had rented two moving dollys and that I would need them, rolling his eyes as he pushed them outside. Then when I noticed scratches on the truck that I didn't want to be responsible for, he again tried to shrug off the responsibility of helping me document the scratches. Just a completely unacceptable way to treat a customer.Matthew W.

The amount of gas in the vehicle was wrong on the paperwork. It said almost full but there was only a bit more than 3/4 of a tank. This was a big lie and should never happen. I had to put in more gas than I used to not be overcharged by uhaul. It is a great breach of trust and there is no easy way to make a complaint. Uhaul should not lie about the gas in the tank and there should be an easy way to address that issue. I feel I was taken advantage of.Stephen D.

Why is the gas estimate on paper a rectangle instead of a circle. This leads to miss calculation and frustration when refueling the truck. Please make the two accurate and similar to each other, a rectangle is not easy to compare to a circleEvelyne O.

Make sure gas level are at the appropriate levels that you say it's at and walk out like you use to to make sure the truck is ready to leave and at what you say it's at I've never Hurd a company talk so much shit about each other and bash one another like one is better then the other every time I came in for a truck someone was saying they ain't doing someone's job and because someone called out they feel they don't have to help each other in different positions that's what a job is about I don't understand why people are so unprofessional there I would rather go to a different uhaul but this one is more convenient for meANGELA H.

I was told that I didn't need to stay to confirm my final rental price yet I was charged 2 gallons of gas when I had stopped to put gas 2x, spending $20 at the corner gas stations right before dropping it off and the gas line was well above the 5/8 not under it. Next time it should be mandatory for the person to stay and confirm information being put on the truck return because that was not correct.Lilibeth B.

The staff are great people and helped me out when the unit I rented still had a lock on it. I had problems reaching the location by phone a couple times when I was having trouble with payment and securing my unit, so I definitely recommend resolving all issues in person. Storage facility itself is excellent.......when you can access it. They've trimmed the hours from 24/7 to 7a-7p most days, which makes loading or unloading after work most days unfeasible. Beyond that, and much more infuriating, is the fact that the self-access door is usually some sort of inaccessible. Either the door itself is locked (even during hours, you have to go find the office people and have them unlock it), or the computer system is broken and therefore the self-access key reader doesn't work, in which case you STILL have to go find the office staff and ask them what's what. Rarely a smooth experience here. Storage is fine, but a bit of a headache.Blair M. | Overall Experience

All Of the above is why I'm a consistent customer. BUT - I was charged an extra day for what your paperwork says was 15 minutes late. And that does not count the time I waited for the truck to be checked in on the return. Or the time from when I signed up at the counter for the pickup and when I actually drove away. No grace period for a few minutes is a terrible policy. Very disappointed that I was hit for $54 when I'm sure I was on time.Frank A.

The first storage I had on the 4th floor (not climate controlled) the roof leaked into my storage and I had some mice dropping in the unit. The GM (Jennifer) was super helpful this time- she moved me to the 2nd floor, the general manager charged me the same as the previous unit I had which was great because it was a nicer unit on the 2nd floor and closer to the elevator. She was super helpful and went above and beyond for me. I didn't go check on my stuff for about two months, when I went to clean it out this past week there was mice dropping every where in the unit causing me to have to throw somethings away which is very frustrating as I moved everything to the second floor in hopes of it being a better unit especially with the climate control. I had mice droppings stuck in the tape of my packed boxes and dropping all around and inside my daughters toys and all over my wooden table, etc. I wouldn't recommend the storage site to anyone as two different floors I had similar issues and all I got the day I officially moved out was "sorry" and they took the full rent payment from me even though my stuff and my kids stuff were ruined yet again. We lost some belongings from the issue in the first unit and now we lost more of our belongings. I always paid my rent and if it was late I always paid it before it ever went into default status. Clearly there's a rodent issue in the building that needs to be addressed. And the fact that I was charged for the full month after I brought the issue up to not one but two workers and both times only got a "sorry" .. not once did anyone ask how can we fix it? How can we make this experience better? I tried to be hopefully in keeping the unit and giving uhaul my business, I'm not sure if the GM left and if the building is under new management now but I will say this past visit to the facility was not a great experience at all.amanda e. | Overall Experience

All I can say is that this facility will be highly recommended to anyone & everyone considering all employees are courteous, respectful, more than accommodating, professional as well as taking the entire experience to the next level of comfort and ease was refreshing. The staff here is great and goes above and beyond. When I arrived to the facility to check-in for my storage unit, the gentle man outside greeted me and offered to help with my rental as I also had a truck to return. I originally booked a 10x10 unit but changed my mind last minute to a 5x10, and they were very accommodating. There was a computer issue that caused me some delays but the manager exceeded my expectations and stayed after hours to resolve the issue and made sure I was able to get into my unit. Moving can be stressful and exhausting. Jennifer Rivera was understanding of that and made my experience better by being friendly, professional, and accommodating.
