corporate told us to submit receipts (for dinner on uhaul due to our breakdown) to this location with drop off and they said they aren't able to take the receipts.

This was the worst customer service experience I've had in my life!!! When I first called ordered the box I was told I could call and change my credit card. When I did I found out that my order was not correct. The dates were wrong and we ended up getting the box a day late after I spend over 3 hours that week speaking to the moving company, headquarters, St. Louis, Columbia Missouri and who knows where else. No one knew anything and the systems kept going down. I was transferred many times until a gentleman by the name of French at headquarters was able to help me. When the box arrived the next day, the latch for the lock was missing. I had to go and purchase a special bicycle lock that would hold the door locked. Then I called to change my credit card and found out that they had the wrong pick up date. The woman I spoke to thought the box hadn't even been delivered at the pick up location. They finally realized it was ready for pick-up and delivery to Illinois. I called midweek to make sure the correct card was going to be charged for the transportation and was told that they did not have the new card on file. I ONCE AGAIN gave my updated card number. I kept looking at my account because I had no faith at this point. To my disappointment, my bank card (the WRONG CARD) had been charged. I again was on the phone over 2 hours being transferred all over with people telling me it could not be changed or I had to wait a week which would overdraw my bank account. Finally, the manager in Park Forest IL took it upon himself to call the location that charged me and corrected the issue. I then received an email that the box had arrived to the uhaul storage place. When I called to come get some of my things I was told the box was not there and they couldn't find it with my phone number or contract number after again waited on hold over an hour to speak to someone. Benjamin at the Park Forest location called me back to tell me they found it and when my daughter got there they were very friendly. At this point I'm waiting to schedule a delivery and wonder what else is going to go wrong. The damage is done and I will never use UHAUL again and will tell other not to. Horrible experience and extremely stressed and disappointed!

The experience I had renting a Uhaul from this location was terrible from start to finish. When I went to reserve it, the guy put the date in wrong. Then when I found that and fixed it, he put the wrong truck in, then forgot to add the dolly I wanted. He told me the reservation was for 6 hours but then when I got my email confirmation, it was only for 4 hours. So when I went to pick it up, I explained that I was told the reservation should be for 6 hours, they said they couldn’t extend it and I’d have to have it back in 4. I asked to speak with a manager who said it was fine for me to have it for 6 hours. Then they add insurance to my total without even asking, requiring me to pay like $30 more. Then I get a call after I’ve had the truck 4 hours, demanding I bring it back because they only have my reservation down for 4 hours and someone is waiting on my truck. I explained (for what seemed like the 10th time) that no I have the truck for 6 hours. I explained that the manager told me they had plenty of 15 foot trucks and confirmed that I would be keeping the truck for 6 hours. The person on the phone tried to argue but I continued to repeat myself. It was such an awful experience. I would never recommend this Uhaul location to anyone.

The price is just more expensive. For example, my 10 by 10 ended up being 120, at another place I could get 10 by 20 for 125. The service at this place was always good though. Thank you!

Truck was dirty, teach in on compartment and not wiped down inside...bugs all over front grill. Employee wasn't very personable. I filled tank, not knowing the type of gas mileage it would get, and wasted about $40 in gas by not getting reimbursed for over filling.

I spent more than 2 hours at the Business Loop Uhaul location. The system went down and later it took 3 people and a lot of work to finally make sense of my order (which I had completed online!!) The truck wasnt clean, the windows were extremely dirty. The auto-transport were added at the end of the afternoon and the crew were really not helpful and eager to leave for the day. They didn't inspect my car, nor help me put the car on the trolley. My spare tire protection cap broke while I was puting the car on the trailer. The employees did not come to help or offer any support or explanation on how to adjust, connect and secure the car on the auto-transport.

Could not provide paper documents because printer wasn't working. Did not have rented packing pads in the vehicle; had to ask for them. Not much enthusiasm among the staff.

I dropped off at this location and was told just to leave the truck parked with the keys in it. No one verified with me my name or verified the fuel level or if the truck was clean etc. Maybe this is how it normally goes during drop off but I felt uncomfortable with it. I wanted some kind of verification that everything was good.

Employees could be more friendly, helpful, and speak up. I could not hear anything this guy was saying because he spoke in mumbled tone and I continued to ask him to repeat and he would not speak louder so I could hear at all so I just gave up. I was just tossed the keys and sent on my way. I had questions, one I had was quickly answered in passing off the keys, I had more concerns, and the employee just kept walking, seemed like he didn’t even care to hear them. The trucks gear shifter didn’t even show what gear it was in. Just figured I’d deal with it because i didn’t feel welcome to ask for help or a different truck. Stop billing people hundreds of dollars for days of equipment rental they did not do. Handle your invoicing and record keeping competently. Do not accidentally hit "cash" instead of "refund to card," further inconveniencing your customers by requiring them to take time out of their busy day to drive across town and collect their refund for a charge that was erroneously made due to your error.

It's in a less than ideal location. The employee seemed very confused and didn't know what they needed to do. A drop-off should be the easiest part of the process. THEN, I was receiving phone calls saying I had not delivered the truck. When I finally had a chance to call back (since this can't be done online), I was transferred to someone who tried to find the truck. It took about five minutes of them searching the system and then they told me they found the truck. HORRIBLE!!!

When first attempting to check out, the national UHaul computer system was "down". I was told no transactions could be done and asked to return (and a few other customers were as well). Places need to be able to conduct business the "old fashioned" way before computers. A little frustrating and inconvenient. UHaul needs to ensure business can be conducted when their "system" goes down. Staff were friendly and helpful (both pick up and drop off)

Booking at the store was easy with a good experience. Putting in a return location zip code of 65681 seemed cumbersome to them and I told them the name of the location (couple miles from my house and closest location as well). Received a text confirmation quickly. Very good. Received a phone call the next day confirming my pick up and return location. Then... received another call the next day to confirm my pick-up and return location which they said they had to confirm. Then, two days later, I get a call to confirm my pick-up and once again they didn't know where I was dropping off the vehicle. I'm thinking 'how's this possible' since I've already given my credit card for pick-up and drop-off. I get more UHaul text messages stating thank you and confirming my pick-up... 'I'm tired at this point'. I get to the location to pick up my vehicle and it's there and ready. Troy (i think that's his name) was GOOD.. Guy knows what he's doing. He asks where I'm dropping it off as the location in the system is wrong. He leaves it wrong and tells me to call some number to tell them where I'm dropping off the vehicle. I can't believe it, but whatever. No issues with the vehicle, gas mileage was great and I called that number in the morning and the lady had no issues changing the drop off location to TrueValue Rental - Branson West, MO. I dropped it off without issues. BTW - I did get a large truck from Troy when I picked up since I could see they had to do more typing in the system anyway. That went perfectly.

We were asked to make sure we returned the truck with a full tank. We recieved the truck with 3/4 tank of gas. We went 40 miles and put $20 of gas so we returned it with a full tank. Others should be returning equipment with full tanks as well.

I have rented a number of U-Haul Trucks. I have noticed that the trucks are having a lot more miles on them and seem pretty well beat. For the price U-Haul charges I would expect their fleet to be in better condition.

I arrived at the U-Haul center 30 minutes before closing only for the manager to not know how to close out my rental and refund may deposit. lesser questions were asked so the process was not easily performed. the personnel closed the doors 5 minutes early causing loss of business of two other customers who walked up before 7pm which is the stores closing time.

I have been renting from this location once a month for over a year. I have noticed a steady decline in management and a lack of knowledge from new employees. Today, I was given the wrong ten foot truck. It went unnoticed until I tried to return it. The employee did his best to correct the situation, but in the process ended up charging me twice. Last month I had been given the wrong truck, but an employee noticed before I pulled away. I will not be returning to this location if this problem continues to happen. -Sarah Lacy

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Oh, the hitch is top notch, and the installation was seamless ... when it finally happened. My 9:30 appointment did not start until 10:45; the “customer waiting area” consists of two chair in the middle of the too-warm store; and at no time during that hour-plus delay did any of the employees inform me of when - or if - my scheduled installation would occur. I had to pry information from employees. Finally, an hour after my car was pulled into the bay, I was rung up, handed my paperwork, and told the car would be pulled around front. Another fifteen minutes later it appeared. Delays happen, I understand that; but inform the customer.

I reserved a cargo van two weeks prior to my rental date and it was changed to a 10’ truck. I was told all the cargo vans were out for a catering place. However, there were several cargo vans at this location when I was there today. Also the 24/7 truck failed for me. It never said that a second person had to validate you as the renter during the reservation.

My invoice is incorrect for what I was told by Tammy. I was charged for an additional day. When I was 45 minutes past my pick up time. I called when invoice arrived and talked to Tammy and she told me she would make correction and send new invoice. Which has not been done so I have called customer service today 4/1. Now I have spent over 20 minutes on the phone working to get this charge removed.

Customer service was A+!! They had the right truck for me, just needed it for 4 hours. When I returned truck, there were several returns, but the gentleman took care of my return on the spot! Great customer service. I wish I could remember his name!

Truck’s drivers headlight was out and it was raining causing more stress to the move worrying about getting pulled over. Also passengers side wiper blade worn down causing a screeching noise when in use. Not well maintained.

The "low fuel" light came on shortly after I left the pick up point. That was inconvenient, especially since I did not know how many miles I was doing. It would be good if pick up vehicles had at least a third of a tank.

I put gas into my truck, and returned it with more than when I picked it up. I was still charged $20 in gas fees. I’ll avoid this location if possible in the future.

Very busy. First truck they gave me I drove it a block and realized the transmission was totally messed up. I returned it. They gave me a second one. When I was done they were so busy they had me drop off the keys without checking it in. The employees are very nice, but there were not enough of them.

The men who were working Friday March 22 at 6pm we're amazing! I wish I had gotten their names. They helped me to no end to get moved and a unit to store my stuff. I would recommend this location just for the guys working at it. 10 out of 10 experience. Will use them again!!!

First it took very long to check out a simple pickup! The clerk didn’t know what he was doing and I waited over 15 min waiting for him to figure it out. The way you make someone take a picture from their phone then email it To U-Haul site then send it is pretty archaic and confusing! What it I didn’t have a phone what would you do then? No scanner to scan my drivers license really! Not very convenient or timely! Next problem the truck was dirty and oily which caused my oven I was picking up to slide all over the bed and eventually ended up damaging it. The dolly was tiny and barely was big enough to transport any oven size appliances! The clerk forgot to put it in the truck and I had to get it myself! The clerk was preoccupied most of the time while two other clerks were working at a register, one sitting down and another at a different register. Very inefficient and timely, when there wasn’t many customers there! The truck smelt of cigar and had no gas cap! Overall the service was substandard, the rental wasn’t clean and the process took too long! Price quoted was $19 a day with mileage ended up costing $78. It would have been ok except the service was slow and the truck wasn’t well maintained! I will never rent there again! No ramps were available so getting the oven into the truck needed two people to pick it up there the truck wasn’t the best choice for moving my oven. Due to the oil on the bed my oven slip around and turned over damaging it and denting the structure! The height or the bed was too high for moving without a ramp or lift! My experience was not a good one and no one suggested and help or if there were any options. No tie downs were in the truck so I didn’t have anyway of property tying it down! Terrible experience overall!

The manager on duty, Trayveon set an amazing example of excellent customer service. He was polite, friendly and expedient in getting us set up and back on the road after we returned the trailer. We didn't have the correct adapter for brake lights, he fixed that without hassle and he took the trailer off and said your good to go after we returned. If every business ran this way the world would be a much better place, thank you Trayveon.

Picked up truck, Was not the size I reserved, they had nothing bigger. Windshield was filthy, FUEL WAS EMPTY! First thing had to do was stop and get gas. Seat belt warning would not stop ringing. The housing kept coming loose and covering up the gas pedal. The employees were not friendly and appeared to be more interested in goofing around with each other rather than customer service.

I could not get the mobile check in to work, customer service at location was semi-professional. They did not want to do a walk around the vehicle to do a initial inspection with me they stated I don’t have anything to worry about.

I was sexual harassed by an employee named Clarence who continuously hit on me while I was trying to handle a reservation with another employee. The employee that was helping me was CJ. He was eating an apple and the juices squirted on me. Clarence was very unprofessional, cussing and not one of the three employees could help me with price matching my reservation so I had to come back two days later on Friday for the manager to help me. I am so disappointed, I have dealt with U-Haul several times and never experienced this. Whenever I checked in on Friday and finally got my price match Clarence was there once again but this time his manager was there so he was “trying” to be good. Clarence was sexually harassing a female employee this time and she looked very uncomfortable while helping me. Clarence should not be working for U-Haul or around any females since he doesn’t respect them!
