I asked for a truck for 2 days and the guy that helped me said okay well take this truck and bring it back tonight at 7:30pm which I did and he also then said come back tomorrow at 2pm to get another one I didn’t realize he was implying that I would have to pay for a whole new truck when I could’ve gone somewhere else and gotten a truck for 2 days without wasting my time.

The employee ran the hitch receiver into the bumper of my van, scratching and denting the bumper. I brought it to the attention of the one in charge and he asked me what I should say to his GM who would call me first thing Monday. I still haven’t received a call from management and it’s 10pm Monday.

Consider being more competitive in pricing on rental trucks, for instance the 15-foot U-Haul truck is .89 cents per mile, while the Budget 15-foot truck is .55 cents a mile. For a 2-day rental like mine, where I traveled well over 500 miles, that's a savings of hundreds of dollars.

Be sure the units are cleaned thoroughly. A lot of road grime accumulates on the ramps on the big trucks.

Do not give customers vehicles that are unreliable or vehicles that are going to be retired due to issues that model has knowing customer is taking it out of town

nothing, I was in and out in a matter of minutes, employee's seem to have been trained well for this job, and they double checked all safety items twice(i.e. chains for trailer, hitch tightened on ball properly, etc.)

Management is always very accommodating and also tries to even have the vehicle warmed up for me when I pick up on cold days.

The inside of the building is horrible. No heat for one thing. The interior is like walking back into the 1970's. Definitely needs a complete interior upgrade. Including those very dingy floors. Otherwise service pickup and deliver was excellent.

The location was fine. Other than it’s not where I set up my pickup location to be. Uhaul in itself has the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I’ve made multiple phone calls with promises of “Doug” calling back. After 3 weeks, I’ve still never received a phone call regarding my reservation. I’m glad I will probably never need a UHAUL again.

After arriving to my reservation location in Bloomington, I was told my truck was no available. I had to drive 1 hour each way to pick up a different truck. Truck had terrible alignment and suspension, causing secure items to break. Did not feel safe using Uhaul equipment.

I pulled in the lot a day ahead. The yard guy unhooked me and said I could leave. I questioned getting a receipt and he said he would handle it. The next day I’m getting text emails and calls telling me to bring in the trailer. 3 phone calls and 1 hour later it got handled. Most workers didnt really know their jobs. There was only 1 person each time that knew how to do their jobs. Very slow wait times. I was there for approximately 20 minutes. Just to rent one trailer.

We had a few issues upon checking the U-haul back in after use. #1 The clerk told me that the gas tank was not on full, thus we would be charged an additional fee. My husband and I pointed out that the gauge was only between 3/8 and 1/2 tank that was clearly marked on our paperwork when we picked up the truck. #2 The clerk wanted to charge us for an appliance dolly that we were not given. #3 The trailer did not accommodate our riding lawn mower...we were told that it would. The trailer was not wide enough.

This U-Haul does not honor the reservations they offer. After moving my stuff into one of their units, I was deleted from their system so that I could not retrive my stuff at the time of move-out.

The only issue I ever had during my rental time, on a few Saturdays during business hours (a couple hours after opening) the garage door in the back to storage would not yet be unlocked.
