A women from the Rochester location called me to change my reservation to a further location. This added miles and money to my rental. At this point I couldn't find a replacement and she was unwilling to help me with the extra expense I incurred.Craig K.

Thank you for the sales person that found me this truck when I was really in a bind. I had a reservation (25313461) I made a week prior to this pickup date. Unfortunately I was running late so I wanted to be proactive and went into the system and scheduled as I would be an hour late. To my surprise that caused my entire reservation to be put out in limbo and ultimately caused for a supposed no truck to be available to me. I tried to call the scheduling person and also tried to go to the location of the reservation. Not only could they not help but we're the rudest people and did not try to understand my situation. Even canceling a reservation I tried to make again that day. In one last hope I decided to call in to the 800 number and thank God I found a person who was willing to help. Thank you can't express how appreciative I am of the sales person that helped, and this location. Extremely nice people, in contrast to the other folks.ERNESTO A.

I received a message to return the truck to a location different from my contact, but the people at the Transit Road location had the change in their system and there was no problem. The description of what I was picking up was a 5X9 trailer. I had to haul a 54 inch wide lawn mower, so thought I was fine. The entry into the wagon was not 5 feet. So I wasted an entire day and had to get a larger unit. Did not get any credit back and had to pay for the larger unit. This cost me 5 hours of my time becasue of this.Donald H.

I just want U-Haul to know. The location I picked up from was not the location I was told to go and pick up the 6 by 12 trailer. The first place that I was told to pick it up from was 15 minutes from my house. I got there to be told they didn't have a trailer for me. Even though there was one at that location. I was told to go to a second location and that my trailer was. Moved there.The 2nd was 30 minutes from my house. The second location not only didn't have my trailer but also informed me my reservation had been canceled. He then had to set Me up with a new reservation witch took a half hrs to do. Than sent me to a 3rd location witch was almost an hour away from my house. So what should have taken me a max of 45 minutes now has me 2 hours behind schedule. I was passed off to say it nicely. Pick up service,truck inside had rain in corner and was offered a different truck..The guy in morning was going to call police in me and told me to stand outside!!! woman who closed out order was nice).This happened on Wednesday morning Oct.26,2021 At 7:30 in morning,no one was in lot but me and parked trucks.The man yelled at me in truck parking area when I returned truck,cause I had blocked him ,all I had to do was move car,when inside told me I was short on gas,I asked him to show me reading and he would not open order on computer,he wanted me to buy at least 3 more gallons at $10.00 a gallon!! I put 20 miles on the truck and I had to put 4 gallons of gas in.I thought that he was rude because I told him I did put in a little over 2 1/2 gallons in then would not show me reading,I was to put in 2 more gallons and then gas level was almost touching "F" for full He know I had caught him trying to make me but 4 gallons of gas at check out when I did not need to!!Told me to leave store and stand outside at 7:30 in morning and 54 degrees outside. I have picture of gas gauge for proof at time of return.. Please feel free to call me. I'm happy never going to rent again!Mari B.

There was nobody around. had to wait abut 5 minutes or so to have someone at counter. i understand they need to move other vehicles around but someone should beby the desk. Just as when i had to return my rental i was worried it woould be over the time because i ran into issues which shouldnt matter. the thing was to have it back on time. so as i sat there for several minute and then kept going outside so someone would see me and acknowledge i was there i got to check out. that was my only issue. i was running so late and was so worried id be charged an extra day and i will see if i was because after 5 hours i still didn't get email receiptDeborah H.

I was unaware that you only have an hour to pick up your vehicle from your reserved time as this is not was not stated ever during the reservation process. I was late because I was driving 6hrs in from out of town. The desk clerk was extremely rude when I arrived asking for help with the self serve check-in process. It was uncalled for and I will never use this location or probably uhaul ever again.Lily S.

Elaine is the manager ,and she is an exceptional ideal employee always willing to help with any problems, love this location at 6161 Transit Rd. Highly recommend this location. I’m sorry I don’t know their names, but one help me check in and get everything arranged; the other helped me get a very large and heavy item into my storage room. Great site and the staff was awesome. However making the reservation was a pain. I was told that I could do it online but the site will allow multiple ppl to make the same reservation. So I called - waited over 2 hours on hold and finally got to talk to someone. This made me think that I had the reservation. When I went into the store the next day, the staff told me the same thing - I still might not have it since the system allows multiple ppl to book the same space.
