I made my reservation online and when I arrived was told the unit I had reserved was not available. The only one that was available was almost 3 times the price. They called the closest other facility and they also did not have the right unit available so was going to be double what I reserved. Staff on location said "that has nothing to do with us it goes through corporate we can't help you." It took 20 mins of waiting before finally one offered 1 month free in the expensive one and now I have to go back to move all my stuff at my own cost when the correct unit becomes available.TRAVIS N. | First Impressions

Make sure there is an inspection of the vehicle and gas tank status. It is not fair to releaze a vehicle for rental annd not have an inspection. this places renter at risk for unfair and unjust chargedREBECCA G.

I rented my trailer at 5pm. I said I wouldn't be back until at least 2 am. The clerk insisted I only rent until 9pm without my consent. I was charged for 2 full days of renting for barely 9 hours of use. I use to be an avid U-Haul customer but I will never be using this service again, unless I am refunded for one day.Zavalla H.

I placed and order for a truck, utility dolly and appliance dolly days in advance of when I needed it. When I picked the truck I never received the appliance dolly. When I asked if I could have 2 utility dollys instead the store was unable to provide one sayin they only had the 1 utility dolly left.Rashard H.

I returned the vehicle and was told my deposit would be mailed to me and it should take 3-5 days. I've never received my 100$ deposit, I've called 4 times, all I get is an agent that tells me they have sent an email to â€œLisaâ€ and I should receive a call or email within 72 hours. It has been 46 days! What more can I do? I was told today when inquiring once again that I was given the 100$ deposit in cash when I returned! I did not! I would like my deposit back as promised.LORRI R.

I've had the same van twice, after explaining that it was unsafe to drive. The last time I picked it up I later realized there were no license plates, the blinkers still did not work, the power locks were going on and off and the tire pressure low. The people are accommodating but the equipment is horrible.JENNIFER B.

Well the truck itself was not in good condition it was brought to the location from what I was told like that but the ceiling was coming down the air condition but I'll kind of noise and made the engine run hot and the back door came off track so the truck is just worn out but I love the location they're great people they really help me out a lotJAMES G.

I was a little worried about using UBox after reading some scary reviews, but the entire experience from start in California to finish in Texas was fantastic! Great communication and support from UHaul, and my stuff all arrived safe and sound.Rebecca L.
The service is so poor. I had a reservation @ 9 am on Nov 21st thru 25th and I came 15 mins before 9 am. A woman her name is Alee stopped me at the door and said they don't open until 9 am. Soon I turn my back to the car, couples came in they were greeted. I have to wait until 9 am for help.CRIS N.

Went to drop off the truck, didn't see anyone so began the self check out process. Female employee yells from across the parking lot to move the truck to the other side when I'm done and park it there.Jamen W.
Horrible customer service, the location claimed there was no reservation and my uBoxes had to be pulled out and then were nailed shut. The employee onsite was huffing around like she couldnt be bothered and acted like it was a big deal to find tools to take out the multiple screws from my Ubox. Terrible experience start to finish from LA to Houston. I will not recommend or use in the future. The call center was bad, mixed up payment info, multiple calls to resolve one issue, late shipping, moving my box without telling me when and where it was going to be - just all around a lack of any kind of accountability or knowledge.Madeline P.

I bought a lock from Uhaul and used it two days. The key broke off in the lock. No help from uhaul and had to pay $100 to cut it off. Bad product? So on top of that I had to get another day to unload items. For this reason I have bad reviews on the internet. No one I called was helpful in the least. This review doesn't involve pickup or drop off but uhaul 800 number no help line.Rebecca B.

The local staff was friendly and helpful. My biggest problem was the fact my uhaul boxes could not be delivered to my new home location. When I called, I was told that uhaul couldn't deliver to my location and we need to use move help which I found out would charge $1000 to ship my containers. I would have to unload then immediately. When I asked what's the max miles to deliver, no one could actually tell me. I was then transferred to internal support, who was the rudest person I've talked to at uhaul. He basically said I have no options but to pick up my stuff or pay the money. When I asked before hand I was told they delivered to my new location. If I knew I'd have these issues I would have used PODS. What I had to do was drive 78 miles with another uhaul truck, unload the pods myself, drive back, use another company for storage by my new location, and unload again. The whole point I wanted to use uboxes was so I could unload them at my leasure. I would have happily paid the monthly fee for 4 boxes till I was done. Now im paying someone else. You guys should credit me for the truck I had to rent to go get my own stuff to load and unload or I will vow to never use uhaul again and will make sure no one else will. Again no one asked y'all to take my boxes so far away from my house. Y'all did that on your own (78 miles away). This was the worst experience of moving I've ever had.Walter J.
