Brandan H.Location was deceitful in fuel record agreement- claimed rental had 3/4 of a tank and expected it to be returned with 3/4 tank. Vehicle had less than 3/4 tank before I took possession. The practice of delivering vehicles with less than full tanks is SCUM, it leads to customers over-paying for gasoline refills before returning equipment- this should be illegal. UHaul also failed to make any communications to the phone number provided which shows a disappointing lack of technical aptitude on the business infrastructure end.

Unfortunately, the unit I reserved was not available so I had to reserve a more expensive option. This is not a comment on this particular branch, but the Uhaul experience in general.

James M.I reserved a truck & appliance dolly at one location that showed availability. Prior to my reservation date, UHAUL contacted me and moved to a different and less convenient location. I was told that a subsequent person booked the same vehicle and UHAUL gave it to that person instead of me, who reserved it first. I get to the revised location and was told there was no appliance dolly available. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MAKING ADVANCED RESERVATIONS IF YOU WILL NOT HONOR THEM? Truck leaked oil in my driveway. Very poor experience overall. I'll plan on looking at other options next time I need to rent a moving truck.

We werent accomodated at all for this problem, manager at the pick up location told me they did not have a storage unit on 1st floor and send me to another storage location, the had to go back and return the truck to his location because NOBODY WAS WILLING TO TAKE THE EXTRA STEP.....

Gregg G.I scheduled my appointment to rent a truck 6 days in advance. The day I needed the truck I was called 7 minutes from when I was supposed to pick it up to be told it was unavailable now; however, if I wanted that same truck I could drive over 15 miles to a different location to use one. I am extremely disappointed in the service. I was told the manager would call me to resolve this. The manager called me and could not professionally resolve the problem. I was given an extra large vehicle. The vehicle I did not want and wanted to avoid. The manager was difficult to work with and failed to recognize the problem. U-Haul needs to work on client services and teach their employees empathy. The whole experience was negative and frustrating. I was not offered anything to mitigate my inconvenience. I will not choose U-Haul again.

Why would I own a hitch if I'm renting a truck and trailer? A little deceptive? Yes. I wouldn't recommend uhual at all anymore.

David C. | Overall ExperienceI made my reservation online and when I arrived was told the unit I had reserved was not available. The only one that was available was almost 3 times the price. They called the closest other facility and they also did not have the right unit available so was going to be double what I reserved. Staff on location said "that has nothing to do with us it goes through corporate we can't help you." It took 20 mins of waiting before finally one offered 1 month free in the expensive one and now I have to go back to move all my stuff at my own cost when the correct unit becomes available.

Once I was charged, I realized that it was was inside and the unit that was given to me was not there. So I ended up having to get a bigger unit. It was a very frustrating situation and even though I did end up with a unit it was bigger and more expensive than what I have originally wanted to reserve.

Had to change units but the staff wasn't very motivated to change it until I continually complained. This was a Sunday and a manger with the authority to do so was not on site. I was moved finally that same day. Since then, I have been contacted twice stating they didn't know which unit was mine. First time, we corrected the issue then a week later I was asked again because they lost the paperwork that I drove up there to fill out. Their organization is terrible and very unprofessional!

I spent almost an hour (and $50 for hired Labor) waiting for my unit. When it was finally handed over, it was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in the facility. Large heavy items would have to be moved in the staircase which would be extremely difficult. I had to cancel the storage. Very disappointing and expensive.

My biggest concern there now is the fact that the lighting is not working at night so it's very very dark and unsafe. I spoke with facility yesterday and they told me that it was a problem that stemmed from the ice storm but he's working to get that fixed waiting on the electrician but I explain to him that is very dangerous and he said he would get on it right away again. The entire staff here is very helpful though so I know he'll get it done.

He helped me get a better unit because I found out the original storage unit I booked online was upstairs and he had no elevator so Nigel Hilliard found me a ground unit outside to help because I did not have help unloading my truck. Nigel also tried to help me as much as he could with my truck dilemma but unfortunately the system would not allow him to help me more than what he wanted to but he has fantastic customer service skills and he definitely should be promoted to a better position if possible because you need more people like him in your establishment.
