Reserve vehicle should not be given away if customer is late. Have the courtesy of calling customer before inconveniencing them and not having their reserved vehicle available. However, they did offer us another small truck but it did cost more than what I originally wanted.Robert M.

On the plus side, we arrived early, so we were second in line when the store opened, and we pre-registered on the Uhaul web site, so checkout was speedy. But there was only 1 office clerk working, and a line of 10 people waiting to be served. Not good. The vehicle was ready when promised, clean, and in good condition. The price was reasonable. But the tires were under-inflated (the TPMS was flashing), and after driving a couple miles, I could tell that the front wheels were out of alignment. And while the AM check-out process was fairly streamlined, the after hours return process required me to go through all sorts of crap on my phone, in a dark parking lot, wondering if I would get mugged.Benjamin W.

Took longer than expected to pick up truck, due to 2 customers in line with equipment and contract questions. It was appropriate for U-Haul staff to serve them, but it was a little disappointing that only one employee was available to process outgoing rentals while the prospective customers were having their questions answered.RALPH F.

Inputting the Odometer was not easy. Maybe you should include a sentence on the site instructions that says to add a zero at end because I put in the numbers I saw on the odometer, but it kept telling me it was wrong. 40 min later I decided to just add a zero so I could finish. I experienced ALOT of issues with the app. The app does not fully tell you that when you arrive at the location and you're trying to use the app for a store that doesn't interact with the app it's A PROBLEM. so then you don't have everything you need as you think at this point you're scanning and going. Yep, not that simple 2 hours later. It took me nearly two hours to finally get our truck. We wasted valuable time to pack the truck and actually it screwed us up with the guys to unload the truck. So since we ran late they had to scheduled for the next day so we had to stay in a hotel that night. So this was an added expense that definitely didn't need to be. Additionally, we also had the expense of the truck the extra day and evening all because the guys had to squeeze us in at 4:45PM to get us unloaded on the 29th. What someone should CLEARLY tell you is that the dollys and blankets count as well. Had she mentioned it prior to my last call in request, I could have dropped those off no problem because I had someone unloading the truck. I mean I was less than 10 miles from the location. I bet I MAY have put 25-30 miles on the truck in 2 days. Look I could go on. We all make mistakes snd communication everywhere is inconsistent, but, try to be understanding of the customers who take proper care of the vehicle especially in that area. I mean it would be perfect if you added a gate and better cameras to show that your investment means something to you too! Now the gentleman at the counter was very nice and helpful, but in the end I still had to run home to get things all because the app made it seem like it was a scan and go kinda thing. Well that's PART of the story. I hope you take cafe of the next person way better than you took care of this person.Shannon C.
There was only one employee at the counter and a huge line of costumers waiting. Even the online customers had to wait in line to turn in or pick up keys for their rental. The online customers said that it is stated they could "Skip the line". There needs to be more staff scheduled on weekends to take care of the online customers.Paulino D.

I had to drive all the way from a long distance move when upon making a reservation it was for a one way only. Had to contact director of store to explain this wasnt rite i spent way more than i needed too all because uhaul messed up. Never will i recommend uhaul and i use them when i move, not anymore!Nicole S.

This is the worst U-Haul location in existence. Have someone from corporate come in, unannounced, pretending to be customer, and see what you find. Do it on a Sunday. I'll tell you what you'll find: Employees telling each other they're clocking out so customers switch lines, employees checking people in with their personal cell phones, telling customers the phones get stolen from this location, but don't worry about your personal data. Employees talking about vans that were stolen or had catalytic converters stolen. Employees eating and drinking while serving customers. Employees listening to rap music with cursing and racial slurs in the loading area where customers are picking up vehicles. I've rented from this location twice this year and it is an unmitigated mess. I suggest you intervene before somebody screws up so bad it goes viral. I'm the type of person who doesn't even write online reviews. This place is so bad that I'm actually taking the time to fill out your survey.Gregory G.

The location is understaffed most of the time, and hard to find help. If the APP was working correctly, this would not ben a problem, but it frequently seizes up, stops working, or has bad information. The truck I was renting had 200 more miles on it than the app said it should. And when the clerk checked me out in person, the miles were nt updated, so my bill more than doubled. Had to find another clerk to fix the problem, again. 1. FIX THE APP. 2. HIRE MORE. It always takes longer here than other locations, but you do have more trucks.Philip M.

The van was not EVEN clean. Almost as if, they just completely forgot that it was even on the lot. The entire online check in was not fast, nor efficient. When I needed assistance there was no one available on-site to helpâ€¦.this was during business hours and there were no other customers. I have come to this location a couple of times recently to pick up supplies and the customer service experience has been very poor. I won't be recommending this location or any others in the future. I will however, tell people to try Budget or Penske.Laura P.

Uhaul did not handle the reservation very well. I had reserved the truck from 6th - to 9th and since the truck was not available at my desired location, uhaul called me and told me that I could pick the truck up at another location on the 5th and there wouldn't be an extra charge for the extra day, however the pickup location had no record of this agreement, and I spent 15 mins trying to understand the situation. Moving is stressful enough and I didn't expect this from a big moving company like Uhaul. Not good.Babla L.

Upon arrival, one worker was berating an old lady. They didn't want to accept my rental because of missing equipment (which I never received in the first place). I waited on hold with corporate for 1 hour and the store closed. They accepted my truck eventually, but never told me anything.Jonathan G.

It would be fantastic if your system would not allow customers to schedule reservations at location where the trucks are not available. I ended up having to pay extra mileage because the store I selected did not have the truck and U-Haul moved my reservation to an inconvenient location. The store would not reimburse me for the extra miles either. I am also having a hard time obtaining a refund for the 2 mattress covers I did not pick up but had already paid for in advance through the store I initially scheduled my reservation for. It was a bit of a headache. The staff at the store where my reservation was sent to was decent, though.BRANDI Y.
My customer assistant was a young lady who went out of her way to assist me with the trailer. I explained to her I have 30 years of hooking up trailers yet she took it upon herself to do everything herself and did it right. Also the check out was just as good of and experience by a young man. Not so much the fault of U-Haul but perhaps a better means of dealing with this situation I encountered. A gentleman entered the store with the intent of renting a truck for a one way trip to Modesto. He hadn't made a reservation and there didn't seem to be a truck available in the size he was requesting. Both the customer and employee remained pleasant throughout the whole exchange as your employee did what he could to help the renter find what he needed at another location while informing him of all the costs associated with his planned rental. This was all well and good aside from the fact that the line of those of us who had reserved a truck and arrived on time grew quite long. My reservation was for 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:20am. I didn't reach the counter until 10:05 am. I was finally leaving in my rental truck at 10:15 am. I don't know how to fix that but if you could I think all your customers would appreciate it. After i rented and put an 80$ deposit, everything was ok til i turned it back in. My customer service rep was GREAT! JAYDENN man. Great customer service. An additional 120 was taken off my bank card and i was ok with that because the total was 201. 2 days later i was charged 119 more for nothing and U HAUL customer service said it was my banks fault when my bank pulled up my history with UHAUL. I would not recommend UHAUL because of my experience.Lisa O.
The inside truck was clean, on the out side Mod stock all over the body. I gave you below average because waiting almost 15 minutes for the counter service personal to come back to the office to get help and for the new system you using to let the customer checking the equipment, and spending and wasting 20 minutes before getting the truck to take picture and submitting them and 20 minutes when returning.
