First they overcharged us and nobody would answer the phone to us and when I went in to fix it we were suppose to be refunded $50 and instead they charged us another $50 and claimed they refunded the card and gave us a cash refund. Will not be coming here again it has been nothing but a hassleJohn R.

Don't rush the hook-up and trailer inspection. On older units it's easy to overlook subtle damage. Did not affect my rental. Used the trailer condition link and added several additional issues to mitigate claim at destination. Otherwise, good experience overall.Paul W.
The truck I received had an almost completely empty tank, I was forced to put gas in immediately after I picked it up. I ended up not driving very far because the house deal fell through. I was not reimbursed at all for this gas at all. How can you possibly justify charging customers if the fuel gauge is lower than when they got it, but not reimburse them if the truck is returned with more gas?Chandler G.

Treating every customer like they are a criminal is pathetic. Taking a customers mugshot so they can rent something is pathetic. Calling the customer to make sure they aren't lying about who they are and then calling a friend to embarrass them is above and beyond sick and pathetic. Took my truck back and they said I went 22 miles which is impossible I got the truck went to pick up a TV that was less than a mile from the uhaul then dropped it home which was about 1.5 miles! Next day went to get my bed 2 miles from the house and 2 miles back. So why was I charged for 22 miles then the lady at the counter asked me if I took a picture of the miles on the dashboard before I left, no idiot I trust that your company was trustworthy and wouldn't screw me out my money. My stuff was there for over a year and it was safe. Besides the slight increase in price for a unit I already had, I had a good experience. Customer service helped me when I needed it; especially, when I changed units and the one I had gotten was bad so they apologized and gave me another. Was wrongly charged for gas. Returned the truck with more gas than when I picked it up and I have pictures to prove it. My pick-up location was moved to this location with no notification from U-Haul. I appreciate the fact that someone from this location called me a few days before to confirm my rental. Never had such a poor customer service experience anywhere! We called 30 minutes prior saying we are dropping off a tow dolly. No mention vehicle â€œcan not be unloaded from dolly on uhaul propertyâ€ until arriving! Pulled in with 40' RV towing dolly with car on the dolly. They said have to leave uhaul property to unload the car! Here's the problem, once pulled in, there's no way to turn around an RV pulling a tow dolly. Uhaul employee yelled at me, the customer, you have to leave to unload car! Making no sense because the vehicle couldn't turn around to leave without unloading the car! Finally with a pissed off attitude he required me to pay an additional fee for them to unhook the car from the dolly then again with pissed off attitude says, â€œDrive the car off!â€ Totally unacceptable customer service. If I owned this uhaul location I'd be totally embarrassed by this unacceptable customer service. Instead of helping the customer problem solve, yelling and berating the customer is completely unacceptable.Randall R.

During my move the bus routes to a gig through a temp agemcy were ureliable, was locked out by the janitor for god knows why, of my peraonal unit. Somehow me listenung to music in my room on headphones for an hour interfered with her ability to sweep and mop, and its a little suspicious that she kept teying to open it as well.
