My reservation (likely not the fault of the personnel at this Location) was really a fouled up mess. There was miscommunication as to equipment, my pickup location was changed without good notification and when I went to actually pick up the truck, it wasn't even there, or due to arrive until several hours later. This resulted in an additional trip and long wait in line to get the truck I was told would be ready the day before. NOT a grand experience!

I was given a truck with a broken windshield. I traveled 1650 miles from to Denver to Savannah. I couldn't see the crack when I picked up the truck but as soon as I got on the highway, the air leakage and the loud noise from the crack on the windshield was not easy to ignore. I had to drive slow which resulted in this experience to be unsafe and uncomfortable. I missed my flight in Savannah as a result of that. Why would you rent out a truck with a cracked windshield to someone who's going to be traveling across country?! The worst experience ever. Unhappy!! I took pictures of the windshield when I got to Savannah, but I can't upload them here.

Walked into the lobby and waited 20 minutes for a person to help me once the person arrived in the lobby it took almost 15 minutes for him to actually be able to help me one of the truck tires was almost completely bald on the truck and had a blowout while driving that rental truck. For Corporate: U-Haul locations need more trees. Seriously. It's so hot and uninspiring all the time. I guarantee you - you invest a little bit into this, the staff would be happier, the clients will be happier, and you'll be creating a better natural environment. It's about time that corporate show they care more for people and the natural environment than corporate profits. Re the staff: They were great. Things were made quick and easy to understand. They knew their roles and responsibilities well. I never had an issue through the whole process. Please pay them a living wage and ensure they feel valued.

I was promised a return location and even text that location. The next morning I was text a new location 19 miles away. I called the 800 number and was told if I were to drop the trailer at the return location I was text they wouldn't take it. I drive 20 min out of my way and the location I went to said they don't take trailer. The lady was very nice and took the trailer anyway. I drove past several haul location on my way to were I drop the trailer off and they all had plenty of space for many trailers. The customer service I received T the locations was excellent. However the 800 number people. Were sympathetic but had no solutions as to why I was forced to take an additional two hours out of my morning. Seeing as I passed at least three larger locations on my way.

We reserved a 20' truck (the size they said would be large enough for a 3-bedroom house and large storage shed) â€" from a location in Arvada on Wadsworth. It was not big enough, not even close. The Federal truck pick up location, despite our in-line checkin and confirmation receipt told us our reservation had been cancelled. We had not cancelled it. After wasting 40 minutes there, they got us a truck there, but told us we had till 2:00 pm the next day to return it. We did not. A later email said 7:30 a.m. return, the next day. The undersized truck size forced an extra trip between Denver and Fort Collins (150 + extra miles and 4 extra hours work/drive time). With high gas prices and the $1.09 mile charge this cost us and our family wasted time, hundreds of dollars, and was stressful. Overbooking, under-sizing is not good business. We'll be working with another vendor in the future.

Please check the equipment before handing it to someone else, I almost got in a accident because the driver side mirror was loose and missing a screw, it was very uncomfortable to drive for almost 4hrs with a loose mirror and couldn't see anything unless you held it

This was a horrible experience. I was supposed to pick up the truck before the store opened. The website didn't work, even if it did the truck was buried behind another truck. Finally when I got the truck and got to the storage unit there was a padlock on the door so I had to wait another hour to get the code. Meanwhile this whole time I was paying movers to help since 8 AM. We didn't actually start loading the truck until 11 AM. Now you're charging me for an eighth tank of gas When I put the appropriate amount that the paperwork said. Not happy at all

Customer service while picking up/returning the trailer was 10/10 at this location (2322 Federal). Easy and quick-ish. Communication from U-haul in general was poor. I originally reserved at a separate location. I didn't receive a confirmation call, just an email. I couldn't get in touch with anyone when I called either. When I got there for my reservation, I was told that it was actually at another location due to lack of stock and that usually someone calls to let the customer know.

Never received a call confirming reservation. Online mobile check-in took more than an hour. AC fan worked intermittently across 700 mile road trip at 100 degree temps. Cab noise so bad couldn't hold a phone call.

You simply need more people working! The experience with U-Haul was so horrible as to commit to taking my business to Home Depot moving forward. I booked in one location and the reservation was moved to another without any significant notification. At both places, there was one person working the counter and at least five people in line. Your people were generally attentive which was good, but waiting in line in two places fried me! Totally unacceptable. U-Haul is now my second choice moving forward.

The in-person staff were very accommodating and friendly. However, U-Haul as a business needs a lot of improvement. I had a pickup scheduled for 8am on June 29 and booked moving help for 10am that day. I find out the day before pickup that my time was switched to 2:30, so I had to change the time of the movers at the end of the month, which is the busiest time for moving. Thankfully I was able to do that. Then, about 45 minutes before our pickup time, I was informed that the 26' truck we booked was not going to be returned in time and the only option was a 20' truck. Mind you, we were moving 7 hours away and we planned for over a month to have a 26' truck. Thankfully, the staff at the pickup location were understanding and accommodating, and added days/miles to our reservation in case we had to take two runs with the truck instead of one. They also provided us a discount. If we didn't have such a good experience with the store staff we would never consider renting U-Haul again; for such a big move, way too many things were changed at the last minute and it was very stressful.

This location is not the one I have an issue with. I was switched to 2 different locations that day because the original location that I had booked a week in advance suddenly “didnt have my truck”. So they tried to send me from Denver to ARVADA. This is bullshit because you have to pay by the mile and I specifically picked my location because it was close to my home. They said that they could not comp me the miles that I would have to drive the truck from arvada from so they switched me again the to the federal location. They gave me a larger truck (10 foot) and still charged me for the 9 foot van price I asked for, which I appreciate, but still did not comp me the extra 10 miles I had to drive for my trip. Cancelling and having someone uproot their plans the morning of is unacceptable. I will be using Home Depot or Penske services from now on.

Customer service was fast, polite, but most of all very clear. What made me feel super secure was when another customer walked in rude and demanding that the person { female, location 2322 S. Federal Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80219} that was helping me who steadfast in her patients, rules, and professionalism explained to another customer who was "rude" why Uhaul could not do go forward at the time with this demanding customer. My move in was over 6 years ago. There was a leak near my locker but it was fixed right away. Since that time I've been provided very good service by everyone I have needed to speak with. Also I have peace of mind with the items being stored in the temperature controlled lockers.

The general manager of the store is never available for payments but assesses late fees on time for sure. Doesn't answer questions. Leaves the lobby unsupervised I could stand there for 45 minutes. Would never use this location again. It was literally the bane of my existence. The nice lady that did my move out was pretty helpful but I doubt any employees worth anything can last with that place. 0/10 would not recommend

The owner was very good to work with and very helpful. I unfortunately had the opportunity to listen to him deal with a rather .... difficult .... customer. He did a superb job keeping calm and helping the customer as much as she would allow.

My girlfriend and i moved out of a terrible roomate situation on a whim earlier that day with no place to live. We were able to rent a truck and find available storage for our things last minute. Luckily we needed to store our things for 3 days due to us finding our own place. I hadnt had a chance to let uhual know we moved our things out, but they called us and asked if we still needed storage. Overall it was quick and sufficient. Have never had an issue with uhaul.

My friend has 2 little ones, is on her own and had to move. She had her hands full and no help. I felt the need to help so when she asked if I had a D.L. I said sure, the least I could do right? Well we rented a van from uhaul, took it home and loaded it, it sat for 3 days why idk but I was getting nervous. I didn't want her to have to pay for it sitting any longer and when 3 in the afternoon rolled around, I took the van back to uhaul and turned it in. She was livid! All baby stuff they needed. Hope next time she stays on task. Of course uhaul didn't want to take it back with a load, but not alot of options for either of us. It was a nightmare. $200 cleaning fee, storage, truck refill... I thought I cant afford any of it. The next day a friend paid the fee of $90.54 to uhaul so my friend could get her things. I tell ya i was besides myself with the whole thing, but the ppl at uhaul understood what was happening and cancelled all the fees and just charged us for maintenance and refuel. I may have red flagged myself from renting there, but I am very happy with uhaul. Smh... :)

Unit latch would not accept lock purchased on-site. Fix took more than 4 days. U-haul placed temp lock. Could not find our lock after fix. 2nd new lock failed after 2 uses. Staff wanted $50 to open.
