Absolutely terrible experience with the manager, originally said I was going to have 26ft truck, ended up with 20ft plus trailer. Which wasn't enough room either. During my trip I noticed the rear tire was completely bald and didn't match the other tires on the truck. We had to call 1800 # to get tires replaced- the service we received by towing company was awesome and fast (~Donnie Plunk Towing in Louisiana)

The self serve pickup was a nightmare experience, I will never use it again. This location was also clearly understaffed this morning. It took 40 minutes to complete my pickup. The only redeeming quality of this experience was the very nice worker who helped me complete my drop off. She is the only reason I didn't leave a 1 star review for this location.

Today I woke up to being charged $800 for a 1 day trailer rental. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company. What a mess! I rented a trailer from one location in Denver, then put the drop off in Westminster (suburb of Denver). I went to return the trailer, and no one was at the counter to help, I waited several minutes, nothing. So I decided to return the trailer to its original location. It's a huge Uhaul place. I dropped it off, and the young lady that accepted the return said I was done and didn't have to do anything else. For the next 2 weeks I kept getting calls from the Westminster uhaul place asking me where the trailer was..I kept telling them it was returned!!!! So this morning I wake up to this… Uhaul, please hire better people. This is absurd.

I was unable to access the vehicle through the 24/7 remote pick-up option due to an issue with the U-haul website and the U-haul office was not open at the scheduled time of pick-up. I waited on hold for 25 minutes to speak with a U-haul representative who was unable to help me and then the call dropped. I had to wait 30 minutes before I was finally able to pickup the vehicle once the office opened. My movers were waiting for me & I was charged extra for my move. The is the worst experience I've ever had picking up a moving van & I've been using you all for years. I would appreciate a call from someone to follow-up

Next time answer phone during operating hours. Was on hold for quite some time. Then they need to inform the customer that additional items may have to be purchased when renting a trailer prior to picking up or tell them what kind of Trailer plug needed for the trailer being rented. Also tell the customer what size trailer ball is needed as well. Trailer plug had to be purchased when trying to hook up trailer and not told until time of hooking up trailer to vehicle. Trailer marker light was out and was told it was our vehicle issue. Come to find out it was Trailer led light issue not the Towing vehicle. They still had us take Trailer with non working Trailer light any way. Had to extend the rental a additional day being it took over a hour to get out if the office which made us had to extended rental a additional 24 hrs. Picked up Trailer on Friday at 5:30 pm and had it returned Sunday morning when the officed opened. Used Trailer for one day back in town Saturday at 7 pm but office was closed so I had to pay extra day of rental so I would get a additional charge for being 1 hour late. So had to pay for additional day which was not used. Would be nice if any info could be told to customer before picking up if trailers in working order before the time of pick up. I might be a possible customer in the future but really questionable.

When I made my reservation, I also reserved 2 utility dollies and 48 moving blankets. When we showed up to pickup the truck, we were told - "oh sorry, we were busy yesterday, all of our blankets and dollies are gone" WTF? What is the point of a RESERVATION if they aren't going to honor it?? The retail floor space was very crammed full of stuff and it was hard to move around. The staff tried to be helpful, but honestly, I got the distinct impression they would rather be anywhere else. It was obvious they were not prepared well for the fact that they gave away my dollies and moving blankets the day before since they were "busy" - almost seemed like they had no clue what having a reservation actually means. Also, the "mom's attic" in our truck leaked like a sieve and several boxes of books were soaked. As I explained when I turned the truck in - its a good thing none of the books were first editions.

Margarita was a gem to work with. However, your corporate cloud operations is a travesty. The coordination of one-way rentals within the U-haul corporation is a joke. Margarita at the Federal operation was fantastic and is the key to making my trip a success.

I REALLY wish that I could have picked up the trailer at the Mile High location as I had ordered this weeks before so that would happen. Driving an additional 20 mins -each direction, to pick up the trailer, and this is the 3rd time you have moved it on me, is really not very good service. We rent trailers 4-5 times a year.

I previously called to extend the reservation one day and the website reflected that. However, the paperwork generated at pickup still reflected one day. Prior to receiving the paperwork, the associate confirmed that it was two days, so I didn't scrutinize the paperwork. That was a poor assumption on my part. But I had done everything in my power to update the reservation to two days before the day of pickup and I was still unsuccessful.

I was in colorado for my daughters graduation and I wasn't checking any emails for a few days. It wasn't until I was at my requested facility and they told me they didn't have a trailer for me, this was the first time I was aware of the problem. Very upset that I was notified by email the day before the pickup that the facility I requested to pickup trailer wasn't available. I called Uhaul and the person I spoke to didn't care at all that I was being inconvenienced and gave me a take it or leave it bitchy attitude. What was I supposed to do? I asked to talk to her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. The workers at the pick up and drop off facility were great but because of the horrible attitude that I got from the person I spoke to on the phone that day, Uhaul will be the last rental company I will ever consider using again.

I had to cancel a previous reservation because another location and Uhaul's customer service said no one had a 4x8 trailer within 40 minutes of my location. I immediately went back online and made my reservation through the federal location. Their staff was super nice, friendly, helpful, and confirmed my Uhaul would be available. Pickup day went super smooth and Rico got me all hooked up. So happy I switched to pickup from this location instead. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Turned the trailer in on May 1 when I could have kept it until the 3rd. There was a gentleman who took the trailer directly off my vehicle and put it on someone else's. He was busy getting burritos from family members and when I went inside to ask if I needed to sign anything or do anything else the lady told me no. Then I was harassed with phone calls and emails stating that I did not return the trailer. Was a very terrible experience of driving clear across Denver to return a trailer when there is a uhaul place right down the street 3 mins from my home. Will never recommend the federal blvd uhaul location. Terrible service!!!

I was forced to pay to rent an additional trailer because the original 26' truck we reserved weeks in advance was not available when it came time to pick it up and we were forced to rent a 20' truck which was not large enough for the move. I'll never rent from uhaul again, issues every step of the way.

There was no one available (during business hours) to help return the vehicle, and I was told to return it via the website. The website continuously glitched out and it took a frustrating 4 times as long to try to return the vehicle. I'm not actually sure that the website ever worked. But really sure why there wasn't an employee able to take care of it.

Have the correct mileage and gas tank amount reflected, rather than trying to go online to correct it. The photo I took would be accepted for the mileage. Also, correct you billing on the credit card entry as it was also not accepted.

Get the pricing communicated to the store and ensure the quotes you give out are accurate. I confirmed my quote had taxes included and when I showed up I had to contact customer service for hours. The store owner took care of it and made things right. The scheduling and pricing were a hassle, thank god for Rico the store manager. The 800 number and reservation team ruined my experience and didn't try to make things right.

I called and asked about the southern storms I was waiting out.. me and my kids stayed in a hotel for a few days. The guy I talked to said “don't worry because it's not my fault I won't be charged those couple of days” Well my card (that I told them not to charge, I would have to use another) was charged another over $200 on top of y'all high prices.

Anything located around Federal Blvd in Denver is considered dangerous since they have lots f shootings in that area. Why don't you have more locations in Centennial or Highlands Ranch? I am so glad you are replacing your trucks with the new ones that ride better and easier to load and suppose to have better fuel mileage.

Customer service was fast, polite, but most of all very clear. What made me feel super secure was when another customer walked in rude and demanding that the person { female, location 2322 S. Federal Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80219} that was helping me who steadfast in her patients, rules, and professionalism explained to another customer who was "rude" why Uhaul could not do go forward at the time with this demanding customer. My move in was over 6 years ago. There was a leak near my locker but it was fixed right away. Since that time I've been provided very good service by everyone I have needed to speak with. Also I have peace of mind with the items being stored in the temperature controlled lockers.

The general manager of the store is never available for payments but assesses late fees on time for sure. Doesn't answer questions. Leaves the lobby unsupervised I could stand there for 45 minutes. Would never use this location again. It was literally the bane of my existence. The nice lady that did my move out was pretty helpful but I doubt any employees worth anything can last with that place. 0/10 would not recommend

My girlfriend and i moved out of a terrible roomate situation on a whim earlier that day with no place to live. We were able to rent a truck and find available storage for our things last minute. Luckily we needed to store our things for 3 days due to us finding our own place. I hadnt had a chance to let uhual know we moved our things out, but they called us and asked if we still needed storage. Overall it was quick and sufficient. Have never had an issue with uhaul.

My friend has 2 little ones, is on her own and had to move. She had her hands full and no help. I felt the need to help so when she asked if I had a D.L. I said sure, the least I could do right? Well we rented a van from uhaul, took it home and loaded it, it sat for 3 days why idk but I was getting nervous. I didn't want her to have to pay for it sitting any longer and when 3 in the afternoon rolled around, I took the van back to uhaul and turned it in. She was livid! All baby stuff they needed. Hope next time she stays on task. Of course uhaul didn't want to take it back with a load, but not alot of options for either of us. It was a nightmare. $200 cleaning fee, storage, truck refill... I thought I cant afford any of it. The next day a friend paid the fee of $90.54 to uhaul so my friend could get her things. I tell ya i was besides myself with the whole thing, but the ppl at uhaul understood what was happening and cancelled all the fees and just charged us for maintenance and refuel. I may have red flagged myself from renting there, but I am very happy with uhaul. Smh... :)

Unit latch would not accept lock purchased on-site. Fix took more than 4 days. U-haul placed temp lock. Could not find our lock after fix. 2nd new lock failed after 2 uses. Staff wanted $50 to open.
