This was a terrible experience. The person who was supposed to open the store at 7 am was THREE HOURS LATE. We called multiple stores and customer service and ended up waiting an hour an half from our pick up time because there was nothing that anyone could do. I understand that this was an accident on the employees part but it put us behind 2 hours. We planned our pick up time with our movers and family members so that we could pack and get out of town on a schedule. Nothing was done to diffuse the situation, when we called other locations they asked was store and responded with "that sounds about right" to the employee being 3 hours late. I am disappointed with the overall experience. This should have been a super easy pick up but it ended up messing up all of our plans, cost us time and money!AVINELL V.

My move in was over 6 years ago. There was a leak near my locker but it was fixed right away. Since that time I've been provided very good service by everyone I have needed to speak with. We rent a lot of trucks from U-haul and this will always be our preferred location. Most all the others it's usually a way different experience. These guys seem to have it down better than others. Gracias.LANE F.
The general manager of the store is never available for payments but assesses late fees on time for sure. Doesn't answer questions. Leaves the lobby unsupervised I could stand there for 45 minutes. Would never use this location again. It was literally the bane of my existence. The nice lady that did my move out was pretty helpful but I doubt any employees worth anything can last with that place. 0/10 would not recommendLEELA S. | Overall Experience

Picking up the rental was easy, though I was a little confounded learning the app to document the condition, gas level, mileage, etc. Return was especially cordial and customer service oriented. Top Notch award to those guys.Kevin K.

Customer service, the girl at counter told me the truck I rented was in aisle 2, as if I worked there and knew were aisle 2 was at. As she told me this she pointed at a security screen that had like 30 trucks showing....so after walking around for few minutes, I had to go find someone to help me find the truck I rented. Doesn't seem very professional. Every other time I have rented a truck from uhaul, there is a tech who brings truck around and someone to walk around the truck with the customers to verify any damage done to truck.RHIANNON B.

A mess since the beginning of our experience. Lost the first truck and called three days before our move to say so. Had all the drop off locations wrong. Dis not inform us in person or on any paperwork that the lump sum insurance would also continue Pro rated daily arguments when we had to have the truck set while waiting for the apartment costing us an additional $500. This was the worst experience and due to my job I move frequently. First time using Uhaul and probably the last unless they credit the unspoken undocumented insurance adjustments and give compensation for all the mental angst they caused with their paperwork mess ups.Taylor M.

The truck was damaged pretty big when I picked it up, the truck needed an oil change when I got it to, I know be cause the warning msg kept going off the whole time I had the truck all 4 tires were low I had to fill them my selfTAMRA S.

i was really concerned about the previous damage to the truck i rented. I came back in and asked the rep about the damage and she forgot to tell me to click and the link and take pictures. I am not a computer person and tried to get help. I went back into the store and was told just to take pictures on my photos. No help on check out ( i also took out the insurance for a piece of mind) But when i returned the truck two employees checked me in and walked the truck and said they didnt know about damage? i showed them my pictures i took prior to leaving the property when i first rented vehicle. If I hadn't I felt like i was being accused of damaging the truck. I felt real like i was going to scammed for someone else damage to the truck. I am not sure if i would use this store againSTEVEN S.

We rented a pick up truck and needed to extend reservation for several more days. When we called the store to do so their system was down and they said they would call us back the next day to go over the details. They never called and when we called we sat on hold for 15 minutes and then Just hung up as we were busy moving They ended up showing up to our home like dog the bounty hunter and took the truck from our back driveway and didn't even let us get all our personal property. Screaming at us like we stole the truck !!??? Absolutely the most absurd business dealings I've ever had and I run a multi million dollar a year construction company so that's saying something compared to the characters I run into on a regular basisâ€¦..temp labor, angry construction types, etc The uhaul staff on south federal boulevard staff takes the cake on â€œcrazyâ€ hands down!!! I am almost speechless at what happened to us yesterday. I can't believe these people are actually gainfully employed by such a large corporationWilliam T.
We had equipment that was boxed in by another truck, and rather than just move a truck, they gave us a new one. Had to come back in twice because they didn't send a new link and the check engine light was on. Needless to say, it put me 45 minutes or more behind schedule. In addition they double charge me for the truck rental and insurance, so I had to go back the next day and get a refund. Wasted quite a bit of my time due to negligence.Kailyn B.

The company tried to charge me for material that I did not receive from U-Haul and when I asked them that I didn't order that they were going to charge me anyway I feel that U-Haul was trying to get one over on me do they think the customers are stupid do they think that we don't know what we ordered after you go through all that time searching this kind of stuff should be checked by every customer even better should be checked by the manager of U-Haul to make sure people are getting a fair deal and not feel like they're being burnedJULIAN C.

get people there who can open the place on time! we had a line waiting for over fifteen minutes for the doors to open it is supposed to open at 9:00 not 9:15! second the truck was unsafe! the passenger door did not close untill it was slammed HARD!! and even then, sometimes it would not latch!! my partner almost fell out as it popped open while going down the street!! the truck is not roadworthy in this condition.MARK T.

So my first reservation for a truck that was confirmed 1 week in advance was either botched by the store or the dispatch dept. I showed up for my truck after confirming pick etc and what do you know â€¦ NO TRUCK - The store I reserved from actually didn't have ANY equipment and the boys that worked there were busy working on their own cars in the service garages - The one guy finally found me a truck at a different location in the city and I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get to the counter but the truck was clean and ran fine. This was a $700 one way rental so no small matter when they didn't have my fully reserved truck!!! Drop off was wonderful and quick and easy - Other than a complete cluster F*** in pick up I would say it was a good experienceJanine L.

Our only caveat is that my husband rented an additional trailer and it wasn't communicated that there was no flexibility of drop off location. It was supposed to be at different location from our 26 ft truck which was pulling it. U-Haul is very hard to reach after hours. Hire more customer service people...20 min wait ?!?William N.

The location of the pick up and drop off was great. Very friendly and professional. Unfortunately my overall experience with Uhaul has been poor. I booked a one way truck a month in advance and then was told only 4 days before my move that there was no one way equipment available and that I could either choose to cancel my truck or return the truck to the same location. There was also no help Uhaul would give me in paying for the extra mileage and gas that I had not budgeted for or planned on. I originally had a guaranteed price of $126 but will likely end up paying closer to $200 with the price of gas and extra mileage. Customer service was extremely unhelpful as if they have not been given the ability to help customers. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Bureau as this is not a fair practice on the part of the business and forces customers to pay more for a service they were not expecting after being guaranteed a particular service!JAMES C.

I never received my dollys or a credit back and I contacted uhaul 3 separate times and was told it would be addressed but it never was or even explained to me and I found that very unprofessional. I needed equipment for a move and had to drive around to go get stuff because my under wasn't what I requested and didn't fulfill my needs for a move. Next time I will not be using an online check in and walk through I will go through a person and verify everything as obviously there is a disconnect from your computer system to what is real. I also requested for it at the county line location and that didn't happen either. The truck was clean and had great AC but otherwise I didn't get what I paid forTravis P.
