The person who assisted with booking my one-way rental did not disclose the pricing structure for the truck. I have always rented Uhaul trucks (same day pick up/drop off) and am used to the daily rate + charge per mile. I was extremely upset to learn after returning my rental truck that I would not be reimbursed for the additional days and mileage I did not use. I spoke with Rick in Customer Service, he kept repeating the same information "We include 20% extra miles and additional days as a courtesy to you". That's a great courtesy if you reimburse the customer for miles/days they did not use the truck. Rick also raised his voice with me which made me more irate than when I initially called in. I also work in customer service and I never raise my voice with an upset customer. I repeatedly told him I understand the information he provided and that I do not feel it is fair to charge customers for miles and days that were not used. Due to the fact that I was not informed of the pricing structure at the time of booking my rental, I would like to be reimbursed for the miles I did not put on the truck and the 2 days I did not use the truck. It's extremely unfair to not automatically do this when you can rent that same truck to another person during the additional 2 days I did not use the truck. Rick informed me that going over on mileage incurs a $0.40/mile charge as well as additional day rates if applicable. That is a more appropriate pricing structure, charge the customer for the miles/days they intend to use and if they go over on mileage/days charge the additional amount. Don't charge the customer for additional unnecessary miles/days then not reimburse them when they return the truck early and with less miles than anticipated. If I am not reimbursed for the mileage/days I did not use, I will never use Uhaul again and suggest my family and friends use alternate rental truck companies. I find it odd that I was offered 30 days of free storage (that I do not need) but I can't be reimbursed for miles/days I did not use the truck.

Ordering, delivery and pick up of box in AZ, was Excellent. U-Box was Guaranteed to be delivered on the 18th of Jan. Wasn't delivered until Tuesday, Jan 11th. We were promised a refund of $150. I was called on the 17th of Jan and promised that the box would be delivered on Friday, the 18th. I was called again on Friday the 18th and told that the box would be delivered on Sunday, Jan 19th. It didn't show. I called on Saturday and was told that they didn't know where the box was. I was called back and told that the box wasn't delivered to St. Paul yet. Maybe Monday, Jan 10th. It finally showed up on Tuesday, Jan 11th.

I have a customer action file opened on December 31st,, its January 10th there has been no response to my inquiry, there has been no acceptance of responsibility for my Pod being in town since December 17th, and scheduled to be delivered December 30th and not showing up until January 3rd. you charged me the delivery fee December 30th, your customer support acts as though they have better things to do when i call asking about where all my belongings are. This delay caused me more out of pocket expenses for food and delivery because items to cook and eat were in the pod. I had to sleep on the ground because my air mattress was in the pod that was delayed, I am very unhappy with the service received and will be reporting this to the BBB and posting on social media. I scheduled that drop off date for a reason. It is very unfortunate that your customers are not important enough to honor a contractual agreement. There was no weather delay, there was no act of god or any natural disaster preventing my pod from being delivered on time.

I hired additional moving help. Original start time was supposed to be 8:30 they showed up at 9:40. They barely finished a 2 bedroom, living room in the 2 hours. The second crew to unload were mediocre at best.

When I picked up my truck I was told that it had 3/4 of a tank of gas and that I needed to return it with that much, standard requirement. When I to the storage unit where I was going to load furniture, It was 1/4 mile down Hunt Hwy, I noticed there was slightly less than 1/2 of a tank. I drove a total 14 miles from the U-Haul parking lot to the storage unit, to my home and back. I stopped at a gas station and put $20 in the tank, it moved the gas needle to just less than 3/4 of a tank. When I returned the truck, I explained this to the young man who handled the returns, I even showed him the gas receipt. When I received an e-mail receipt charged to my credit car it had an additional charge of $7.50 for two gallons of gas. So I paid $27 for gas to go 14 miles in one of your small (10') trucks. So either your trucks have the worst gas mileage or I got ripped off. That is why I would not recommend your business to anyone I know looking to rent a truck.

Most of the staff was pleasant. One staff member was very short and not helpful. She was the main reason i would not come back to this store. secondly the gate clicker never worked. I had four staff and the manager look at it. Not once did it work. Had to be let in every time i went to get my camper and storage.

I think the online return procedure is to complicated for the first time one would use it with the location working on your phone, or perhaps if the rep told you all the info on how to return the equipment after hours that would help, other than that everything went fine.

I was trying to move my payment date by a couple of days because my Soc. Security check changed dates I will receive it and I was told I absolutely couldn't change the date. Furthermore, if I don't pay by my designated date or within 48 hrs of it, I will be charged a late fee of $25.00. My check would reach me 48hrs after the extend time period. For a senior living on the edge, $25.00 could pay for a lot of prescriptions for me. So, I am having to consider moving to another storage facility because I-Haul simple won't work with me.

The only reason to submit this review is for the GM of this facility Jason T. One evening at the facility I was attempting to leave when the gate shut for the night right in front of my vehicle. I got in contact with Jason about the situation and he was very RUDE and unprofessional. It sounded as if he was too busy or too important to worry about the problem I had at his facility. We ended up contacting a very helpful uhaul employee who assisted us in getting out.

Screws from the construction of the awning are all over the parking and storage area on the ground. I have had flat tires on my brand new truck. I let someone at the facility know that they need to drag a magnet over the area and I was told that they have the magnet part, but. Nothing to pull it with. Why is that. If they know and agree it is a problem maybe they need to rent one just like customers that don't have trucks or trailers rent one from u-haul. I worry every time I enter the storage area. A flat tire on an RV can be very dangerous.

The young man that helped use was great!! The person I dealt with on the phone that told me I had two storage units but it wasn't and did not inform use it was on the 3rd floor. Bad on that part. It wasn't in Queen Creek.
