Hero B.I was disappointed during return of the vehicle. the manager did Not change the records to reflect true amount of gas in the vehicle( as promised). Before moving the truck I notified her the gas needle had less gas than what was noted in my paperwork. She told me she would chang it, but upon returning the truck I learned she didn't do what she promised. That's why I take photos prior to moving the truck!

Marli P.Have the equipment that was reserved at the location prior to allowing someone to book there. There was no furniture dolly at this location & the GM told me I had to go elsewhere to get one. Then also added I had to drop the dolly off at that location & not hers with the truck. Which was a lie cause I told her to do a transfer.

On advice from a kind person, we headed to Sample Road location, what a difference! Mabel and female coworker were very supportive professional, friendly, and exceedingly helpful. They made my day! I would definitely recommend anyone to go there! A thumbs up to them! A couple hours after, when returning the truck, the two other support staff were equally nice. Thank you U-Haul!

We both apologized for our attitudes, but when they called my daughter they were just as rude. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Overcharged me knowing I turned in the car dolly early. No one wants to hold on to a Uhaul and pay over $50 a day, they don't try and understand what the customer is going through. She doe NOT represent the company is a good light...if it wasn't for me know and using Uhaul...A LOT...I would NEVER use Uhaul again. This manager, store is going to cost you money and customers.

Brett N.My recent experience with U-Haul on 7-4-2023 left much to be desired due to a series of unfortunate mechanical issues I encountered during my rental. From a faulty transmission to inconsistent air conditioning, these problems significantly impacted my moving experience and overall satisfaction with the service. Upon arriving to pick up the rental truck, I was initially given a vehicle with a defective transmission. Merely five minutes after driving away, I noticed unusual noises and erratic shifting. Concerned for my safety and the well-being of the truck, I promptly returned to the U-Haul location. While I appreciate that mechanical issues can arise unexpectedly, it was disheartening to encounter such a problem right at the beginning of my rental journey. The U-Haul staff handled the situation professionally and promptly provided me with a replacement truck. However, my relief was short-lived as I soon discovered that the air conditioning system in the second vehicle was inconsistent in its performance. While it offered some relief from the oppressive South Florida heat at times, there were periods when the air conditioning struggled to provide adequate cooling. These moments of discomfort made an already physically demanding moving process even more challenging. Upon returning the truck and explaining the multiple mechanical issues encountered, including the defective transmission and inconsistent air conditioning, I was surprised to find that I was charged the full rental price. This lack of consideration for the inconvenience and frustration caused further marred my experience with U-Haul. Renting a truck for moving purposes should entail receiving a reliable vehicle that is fully functional. Unfortunately, the mechanical issues I encountered with both the transmission and air conditioning system not only hindered my experience but also raised concerns about the quality of the rental fleet provided by U-Haul. In conclusion, my U-Haul rental truck experience in South Florida was overshadowed by a series of frustrating mechanical issues. From a faulty transmission in the initial vehicle to inconsistent air conditioning in the replacement truck, these problems significantly impacted my moving journey. Furthermore, the disappointment of being charged the full rental price despite the multiple issues encountered leaves me questioning the level of customer service provided by U-Haul.

I would of been homeless if I couldn't get a Vehicle to move. Very disappointed Even if it worked out in the end. I had to make multiple trips and pay more for a Van VS a 10ft truck.

Christopher B.I called on the phone and specifically asked about a ground floor storage unit at a U-Haul rental place where I could rent a truck pick up the stuff put it in storage I was told yes we have one on the ground floor air condition unit no problem. I showed up rented the truck my mistake was not checking out the storage unit first went and got my furniture came back and was shown the storage unit which was on a half floor in between the first and second floor very strange setup but if you know this facility location you probably know what I'm talking about. When I went in back into the office and said that's not on the first floor I have to climb some steep stairs I have a couple big heavy dressers to put in there they said "no WE consider that first floor"... to which I replied no that's not first floor there are stairs going up to a second floor they said no second floor is above that floor you know arguing back and forth doesn't do anyone any good so I just canceled the storage unit on the spot right next door to Public Storage and rented a space for $20 less a month than what you were asking anyhow. So all in all it worked out for the best but I don't appreciate being lied to over the phone and to my face when I'm in there renting the truck in the storage unit. Therefore I cannot refer or recommend your location or facilities to anyone and give it a very poor overall rating.
DONALD C. | Overall ExperienceI was lied to on the phone by Michelle because she told me they had a ground floor unit for rent which is why I chose this location to rent the U-Haul truck from. Once I had rented the truck picked up the materials and came back to the U-Haul facility I was then shown the supposed ground floor storage unit which wasn't ground floor at all it was up 10 steps to a second floor level which I didn't want to carry all of the things in the truck by myself up to. I ended up going next door to Public Storage renting a ground floor unit 5 ft from the front door for less than what U-Haul was asking for that shabby Second Story location

Being disabled (as I told the office before moving in) I required the first floor. I finally got in touch with the general manager after a lot of frustration with the office lady and he was able to work with me and satisfy my needs. After that, everything was a good experience.

Both times I’ve been to this location, they were super busy and some of the customers were very tough, but the staff rose above it and offered me and those that accepted it, above and beyond service. I can see this location could benefit from more staff, but they made the best of tough situations.
