I made an appointment to be able to unload the ubox. When I went to pick up my stuff. My ubox was not pulled. The woman at the counter barely paid attention to me. I had to ask if it was ready after at least 20 minutes. She had to call the person who pulled it. I was told it was between buildings a and b. It wasn't there. A guy went to look for it . Now at least 35/40 minutes later I find out it's between building c and d. I rented a van , I told them I would be returning it the same day between 9 and 10 pm, no one was there and I had no idea where to return the key. It a total shit show there! I returned the trailer at 3pm, they never checked it in, l had to call them to let them know that l already had dropped of the trailer because the person that unhook the trailer at 3pm never checked it in, if l hadn't done that they would probably charge me for more than one day, since this happened before l stayed on top of it, very very poor customer service, also when we get there to return the equipment it's always a hassle to find someone.Luiz C.
I asked for mobile pickup, but I had to go into the building because I had no idea where the truck was parked among all of the vehicles on the lot. Also, the truck did not have the extra items that I ordered in it. In addition, this location needs to check its vehicles before rental. The truck that I rented had a slow leak in the rear tire. I had to stop multiple times to fill it with air, which was pretty inconvenient, and probably unsafe.Wayne S.

I had a situation where I was late paying my rent so I went to the facility in person and paid the rent and the late fee in person in cash a week or two later I went to go to the warehouse and I was locked out of my unit I went to the office and they told me that I never paid the late fee and that's why they locked my unit up and I couldn't find the receipt so I called you whole corporate and they explained to me that their policy is that you cannot pay your rent late without paying the late fee along with it at the same time when I explained that to the manager of the Powerline sample location he came back with some condescending remark saying that he had the ability to override me paying the late fee and that I didn't pay it and I said to him you weren't even here that day and he gave me a smart allocate answer and look about how maybe I was and you just didn't see me that's not true so I called back to u haul corporate and they advised me that I should go back to the manager and have him show me the video tape of the transaction of me paying the rent and late fee so we could see it on the film and see the exchange of money and see how much I paid them and how much they gave me back and change Etc and he refused he said that you haul corporate does not have the authority to tell him that he has to show me the video tape he said he only shows the video tape to who he chooses to show the video tape to so not only did I have to pay some kind of fee penalty fee to have them unlock my unit but I had to pay the late fee again and that particular gentleman who was the manager at that time I can't remember his name but he was a very snide condescending disc courteous almost smart alecky jerk not professional at all not someone who should be in control of managing a facility like that I have had 100% fantastic experiences with U-Haul my whole life my family is always used U-Haul and you can look in my record and see in the past 10 years I've used you quite a bit for I guess you know most people don't move around and and do as much as I did I don't think in the past 10 years all I'm saying is I've had fantastic experiences with all you hold people renting a truck or renting a trailer it's always been good and I count on you all to be a legitimate good company that I can rely on the only reason that I didn't give that facility great marks all the way across the board is only because of that one manager who I consider to be a total jerk everyone else was nice everyone else was courteous as professional as they could be but that guy is a bumChristopher H. | Overall Experience

Their truck was a 20Ft. The doors were left open The Battery was weak, The Oil was very Low. And I had to add #1. QT, to the Engine and the wind shield wipers, we're badly worn, the miles of the truck were very high, and should have had a fill Maintenance, plus the safety, issues the Brakes We're very worn out, and burning smells. Employee: Adam Today on July 31,2022 I went to visit the uhaul storage center on 2150 West Sample Road. When I arrived to my unit I noticed a large amount of water streaming from the storage unit across from mine. Upon seeing this I quickly grabbed a blanket nearby and tried to stop the flow but the blanket wasn't soaking up any of the water. So I proceeded to go to the main office. Upon arrival there was a Lobby packed full of people. Two female associates struggled to keep up with the lines and when they needed assistance he gave them an attitude and walked off. After waiting a few minutes and seeing that Adam wasn't helping anyone I walked over. I then went to ask him for help with the storage unit that was leaking across from mine and that the water was almost at my storage spaces door. He then waved me off said he couldn't help me and go ask them. I then turned around and went to ask another employee for help. He didn't hesitate to grab blankets to help with the leak from the storage unit. I then asked him how I can make a complaint against Adam and he informed me that Adam is always receiving complaints and that we can try to call or write a review but he wasn't sure what good that was going to do.DEBRESIA L. | First Impressions

I am currently renting a parking space at this location. I have a company and sometimes I have the need to access my parking spot after 10pm. I have a Company registered with the estate of Florida. I have an EIN number. I have a commercial account, but my clicker does not work after 10pm. I got locked inside last week. Next day I spoke with the manager Bladd and he verified I have a commercial account with EIN number. He told me that he will fix my issue and again I am locked inside. U-haul is not giving me the parking for free. I am paying for a service, I am paying extra to be able to access the gated parking. But I am not having the service. Of the two containers one of them was improperly stored and the contents had to be thrown out due to water damage and mold and mildew damageJohn S.
My boxes were never shipped on time, even though I received ubox dropoff confirmation on 7/6 by phone. My boxes were late and no one communicated with me. The movers with MOvingHelp showed up to pick up the boxes only to find there were no boxes. The movers were the people who told me my boxes never shipped bc of an issue with the truck it was supposed to be on. When my boxes arrived on 7/14 and the movers went to pick them up the Brighton Park 47th st location, they wouldn't release the boxes bc of some glitch in the system; I almost had to reschedule AGAIN. The manager from the Pompano on Sample rd was helpful, and so were the movers. However, there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY on Uhaul and MovingHelp when things go wrong. They pass the buck back and forth and customers are stuck in the dark.Courtney C.

The van had a cockroach infestation....my girlfriend had her purse on the floor of the van. when she picked up and reached for her wallet cockroaches crawled on her hand! Needless to say she became very hysterical. when I cleaned her purse out 15 cockroaches came out of the purse. when I inspected the van I found several more under both seats. When I turned the vehicle, I explained to the guy about the cockroach issue, he blew me off and all he seem to be concerned about if I caused any damage to a vehicle that I had insurance on and only used it for 2.5 hrs. You can improve by training your employees on what merchandise they have available. I arrived at this location and asked to rent a pickup truck. The lady in the front says we don't have any. I said there are two trucks in the front. She said let me check the availability. Then said oh we do have 2 but one doesn't work and the one that doesn't work is parked behind the one that does so I can't get it out of the area to rent it. I asked can you go verify that please? Had this dude ready to fight me because he asked me a question about his Jeep... im a mechanic, I know what im talking about, anyways, I digress (ego aside); Asked me what was going on with his car, i told him, and he denied what i said what could possibly be the issue and started yelling at me cussing and shit ill tell you, i matched the energy, i said fuck it shook his hand and said lets start over. He persisted with his demeaner and yelling, and honestly, asked him one more time: "Why'd you ask me for help then? If you're just going to keep yelling at me?" And walked away... but yeah, buddy was ready to throw hands, and so was I to be honest. Couldnt get his name but he got gold teeth and an older Jeep... He really stained my visit/return. This happened almost exactly at 8 pm the day i returned it (the Silverado) right in front of the entrance (I know y'all got a camera there) thanks, but no thanks. We had 2 boxes and one got lost. Noticed the box was missing when we got the delivery notice. We had to make about 10 calls to the Pompano location and each time, we were on hold for at least an hour. When we called, waited 90 minutes, and finally got a person to answer, we explained the situation. The office person would say that they will look and get back to us. They never got back to us. It was only by calling over and over, that we ever got any information. The destination site was a completely different story. Everything from Uhaul was a great experience the only problem I have is the headlights went out during our drive from Jacksonville to Ft lauderdale and we had to pull over and get a hotel because we could not drive. You are a corporate entity that charges convenience fees for absolutely everything. I even saw a cart fee if you don't return it to the designated area for like $15.00. You squeeze pockets at every corner. Luckily, I am in a place in my life where I can afford all this. Many others, not so much. Then 2 days later when I tried to access my one- month free storage they could not find my reservation, then was told they overbook and it's first-come:first/serve. Facilities had homeless people hanging around, one approached me accusing me of following him. Reported it to the staff and they acted like it was no big deal. The air conditioned spaces only had AC on in half the areas. Staff was not very friendly, I asked that because I vacated the unit on the 7th of the month would I be credited for the remainder of the month. As I'm sure that 10x10 container won't sit empty very long. She kinda snapped and said "we don't prorated " as she walked past me. poor costumer service skills.Dale L. | Overall Experience

How do you make a reservation for a storage unit and when you get there they gave it to somebody else and say Is first come first serve what’s the point of making a reservation I drove all the way from New York to Florida On military orders And I had to rent 2 storage unit because they gave mine away and they say it’s a rule that comes from the district managers just let people know ahead of time there is first come first serve instead of Having people make a reservation and waste of time thank you for making this a hard and stressful PCS moveCarmen L. | First Impressions

I had no problems with the facility throughout my stay. When I first moved in actually they helped me tremendously by offering another storage unit without hesitation close by to my original unit when I realized all my stuff would not fit in one. If I had any complaint it is not with the staff at the facility but the company policy itself. I only used the storage units for 8 days during my last month and was charged for the entire month on both units without proration.Lew T. | Overall Experience
