The drivers are excellent. The costumer service wait times are ridiculous! Local doesn't know what to do, sends me to corporate, I talked to Californis, Arizona, and I think New Mexico all from calling a 954 number. Each time going to the end of the cue having to wait another 20 minutes. Finally a manager was able to fix things super fast. I shouldn't have a cracking voice, begging for a manager before I get help though. This is a system error. All the great staff in the world doesn't help if your system is broken.CHAR B.
Being put on hold when you call for over30 minutes is excessive. Then to get transferred to someone else and be put back on hold for another 20 minutes is exhausting. I am so happy the move is complete.Julie R.

Contents were damaged by water in transit. Dropoff was a day late. Pickup of empty boxes took more than a week after scheduled. Recommended number of containers was too low, necessitating a separate and much more expensive purchase (good for uhaul, not for us). Customer service was very good (despite long hold times). Everyone we interacted with was considerate and helpful, they are just overwhelmed and under-resourced. Currently processing an insurance claim for the damaged property. Would not recommend this service to a friend at this time until containers are upgraded and infrastructure exists to support timely pickup and drop off.Claes B.

You didn't live up to the contract. You guaranteed delivery by August 30, 2021 and you delivered on 9/2/21. My $30.00 lock was badly damaged from someone trying to break in. Boxes and fishing rods were damaged. Just an all around mess. Also takes about 35 minutes on average hold time to speak to a live person.Daniel E.

Very happy with using Ubox, so much easier to move cross country with two dogs in my own vehicle instead of a large rental truck pulling a tow dolly with my car. Ubox was the least expensive way to move. The driver who delivered and picked up the Ubox was very friendly and helpful - girl her a raise!Robert W.

You gave me a truck with a flat tire and it was not apparent until I loaded it up. Then I called roadside assistance and waited for so long that I just decided to add air to the tire every 30 minutes and make the trip. Your customer service is horrible. There is no way to talk to a person at a local location. I will never rent U Haul again.Matthew D.

Terrible experience! I spent thousands with uhaul over last 60 days and i will not use the service in the future! The uboxes came 90 minutes after the 2 hour window. I had to pay movers to sit and wait. Uhaul charged me for insurance, as i requested, then had no insurance include with the invoice. I will be asking for a refund. The $50 compensation is laughable.Tanya Y.

When I went to pick my boxes up they had them on the wrong trailers knowingly that my truck couldn't pull the double trailer. They knew what truck I was using and knew my truck couldn't pull this. Slowed down my move cost me money because the movers spent more time at my house. When the boxes where finally shipped one of the boxes leaked and had water damage. The forklift operators also punctured a hole in the box with the forklift damaging my belongings. It was an absolute terrible experience. I will avoid uhaul at all costs in the futureCody W.

Delivery showed up late. Upod was in the area since July 21st. Received no confirmation call day prior. Finally got through to the store that had the box on day of delivery at 10a.m. Assured me that I was the next delivery out. Box was never received or called to be notified that the box was not going to arrive. Talked to a representative around 7pm. Was told I would be refunded the home delivery fee and $50 for each day that it was late. Only received a refund for $50, even though the box didnt arrive til Monday afternoon.Nikola S.

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service provided , or better lack of customer service is probably the better term, at the location off of Powerline and Sample rd. It was raining and it seemed as though no one wanted to work because of it. We were handed the key and told the truck was in one area to later find out, after running through rain for almost 30 mins , that the truck was not only in a total different spot than we were told but was actually behind the building. Generally, I won't give poor rating even for poor service, I am really not happy with this service, they reserved Non-Wood and mentioned the same while reservation. I visited 3 times this location and they promised and told me that they would deliver Non wood because as it is in the system. Even they didn't call me before deliver and by the way they delivered damaged box with moisture inside. When I contacting to them, they are saying that this is only Ubox available to deliver. They are not able to replace with as requested/good one. Disgusting to work with these answers. The answers as I see they did favor to us and doing it as free of cost. 1) They didn't deliver the box as requested in the order. 2) No on time deliver. 3) Even they didn't deliver furniture pads. I sincerely not recommended to go this, if you are okay to processed with damaged/broken box content then you can go ahead. God will help you. Thank you for reading this.Mahesh K.
I called FIVE TIMES to extend my lease to allow for more time, as my housing fell through the day before I left my departure location. Although I called the destination store directly, I was routed through an automated phone system, and when I finally was able to talk to a human, they said they would forward me to someone else, and then I was looped back into the automated system! I waited on the phone a total of over 4 HOURS!!! And never got my message across. This is unacceptable, and I will definitely be finding another company for my future moving needs.DAVID M.

When I got to the facility in the morning, the lady who helped me was very nice. However, she seemed to be the only one working. Then when I came to return my rental a little after 5 pm, the same issue occurred. I had to wait for an employee after a 30 minute call to assist me with checking in the vehicle. No one was helpful enough to inform me about how to properly return the rented vehicle. She told me the guy outside was supposed to check me out. I told her I didn't know that, she stated that the dreadlocks lady should have to me that. I think that's so inappropriate to describe someone, I told her she was by herself and maybe she forgot to tell me, that was my first time there and my last time therepamela C.

I was contacted several times about when and how I wanted to get my stuff, but when I got there the Ubox wasn't ready and I had to wait almost a half hour because instead of scheduling access like I clearly requested, someone I spoke to(@ W Sample rd) had made a reservation for an additional box, which I obviously don't need. Then, I was soaked w sweat so I was freezing in the AC of their lobby for almost 45min while they checked me out of my Ubox. Over an hour of wasted time at that location threw off my whole schedule and meant my truck rental was returned lateEric A.

Two problems: the online system for managing u-boxes is difficult to understand and to use. At times it simply simply won't let you do what you want to do. It needs to be improved. The second problem is the appalling wait times on the phone for customer service. I was always waiting 30-40 minutes. Really frustrating. Hire some more people, please!John W.

Absolutely horrible the worst day uhaul completely failed. I made plans months in advance and they didn't have my truck I had to go to another location. Then the storage unit they don't have one. I planned and double check the week before and a few days before to get a confirmation and they completely failed. Don't use them. It's not really 24/7 like the app says for convenience. Facilities had homeless people hanging around, one approached me accusing me of following him. Reported it to the staff and they acted like it was no big deal. The air conditioned spaces only had AC on in half the areas. Staff was not very friendly, I asked that because I vacated the unit on the 7th of the month would I be credited for the remainder of the month. I had no problems with the facility throughout my stay. When I first moved in actually they helped me tremendously by offering another storage unit without hesitation close by to my original unit when I realized all my stuff would not fit in one. If I had any complaint it is not with the staff at the facility but the company policy itself. BEWARE! This location and the staff who work here are rude, will bait and switch you even when you've got reservation & they even talk back to customers in front of other customers. Adam & Annmarie at the front are the absolute worst when it comes to talking with customers -- especially ones who just spent $2,000+ with UHaul moving from AZ to FL. This location needs better staff and a manager who cares. Whoever you guys have working there is not interested in long term with UHaul or else they would treat customers with the most respect instead of talking back (on camera I recorded it) and on top of it that guy Adam wasn't even helping us out we were dealing with Annmarie but Adam is one who started talking back to us! Truly the worst experience ever. Will no longer use UHaul services for anything. I will pay competition even $500 more than UHaul because you have no respect for clients and customers of yours! And if UHaul customer service actually does care you need to have one of your district managers or someone higher to call us and find out what happened. This isn't an isolated issue as the reviews for location speaks for itself. When you make reservation and have a UBox shipped to this location why would you rent out the reserved unit?! This makes no sense and really shows the fraud being conducted by staff here trying to hit their sales quotas or something because when I already did reservation for $100/mo unit you can't tell me on the day I'm there to get it that this reservation is valid but that you don't got the unit available because you rented it the day before. Let's see if UHaul cares for their customers and attempts to rectify all the wrongdoings their employees who are wearing UHaul shirts and logos did to us at 11:25 am on June 17, 2021. I rented a unit from your location on 2/24/21 it was #4243 but it did not work out as it was inside on a second level and I needed a drive up garage door entry. Luckily there was a drive up unit that became available and I was given unit 4081 the same day. By 3/3/21 I was done moving/storing thus unit 4081 was swept it clean and I proceeded to the office to close the account. It was late in the day and over a dozen people were already waiting so I was asked to return the following day. I did that the next morning and same problem a dozen plus folks were ahead of me; I tried to explain the unit was empty and I just needed to check out but I was asked to wait or return another day. On the second return day 3/5 the situation was the same and I was rudely told that I would just have to wait my turn or leave by a large woman at the desk. I left. I returned for the last time on 3/15 and I was told my belongings had been moved out because of non-payment which I explained was impossible because I left the unit empty on 3/3/21. After waiting 30 minutes they said it was a mistake and I was checked out but they could not print anything to confirm I was out of the unit but I would get an email with a day. I never got an email so I called today 3/23/21 to share that the email never came but the agent assured me an email was sent and it was my problem not hers. Such a shame a valuable service of the free storage after my rental was ruined by agents with poor customer service skills and bad attitudes. Not to mention the loss of rent for unit 4081 for 2 plus weeks barbecue they were just too busy !!Arlyn E. | Overall Experience

Thank you for the promotion one free month storage with a truck rental. We were able to complete our move and only needed the storage for just over a week. Josh was efficient in closing out my account when I turned in the storage. One negative of this location, the lady at the front desk is completely unhelpful. Insanely ride staff. Victoria is the worst store manager I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. I showed up today after having made this reservation two weeks in advance and driving hundreds of miles. I waited over 20+ minutes for the employee in training to give me my storage unit, she explained the directions I need to follow poorly, and then because I came back due to miscommunication and the inability to get their code to work, Victoria decides to catch an attitude with me and then tell me to leave HER office. I have the entire thing recorded on video and I will be following up and filing a complaint with uhaul. Take your business elsewhere if you don't want an absolute headache. Not worth the time wasted. Victoria, kindly quit, you're USELESS post update, their alarms are constantly going off while you are trying to make your move which is insanely earth shatteringly ear piercingly annoying. Thanks for nothing U-Haul I will not be returning as a customer ever again. Update to the update! I've been here 3 hours and I'm already finding mass amounts of very large roaches, not to mention the extra extra large rat traps installed in every single unit. The elevator operations certificates are also out of date by over 2 years. This place is disgusting and poorly maintained all around, from employees to management to the actual storage units. I even tried to contact the owner Don at the email listed on my contract and that email is not valid. I would have said excellent, but when I went to remove all my items, I went into the office and was not told that they needed to inspect the unit. I tried to check out online, but it said I had to return the key card! I called the location, but got the national line. I explained the issue, and they said it had to be returned. She said they contacted the location via text to confirm. We made a special 1 hour trip back to return the card to avoid being charged $40. Upon arrival, when we were finally helped, we were told there was no need to return the access card!! So the trip was for nothing. The lady that helped us check-in was distracted, rude, and failed to set up our auto pay. We received a notice for $15 late fee. Upon making a special trip to the facility (30 minute drive) the manager waived the fee and set up auto pay. He was friendly and focused.Brian W. | Overall Experience
