Supposed to have climate control and I was paying for it ,it was so cold i side , some of my stuff got broken because it was too cold was 52° ,when I used to rent before it used to be 65 and I asked them to put it up to 65 one girl was rude to me , she said it needs to below 55° , that's not climate control to me sorry .then they upped my rent and i was only there 4 months. I wont rent from uhaul ever again . Plus i didnt feel safe . One guy was sleeping in his storage that was next to my first storage , then had to park outside because both stall where taking up by guys doing drugs in their cars , smoking and working on his car . I told someone about both Incidence. I didnt feel safe going alone .

Someone needs to have a serious talk with the guy who checked in my truck at the time of return. I'm not going to go into specific details, but I wouldn't want to be in the same building as that guy he has a dark cloud of energy over him. He was rude, short worded, stubborn, and seemed miserable. I would let him go if I were you. You don't need someone like that as the face of your company. And if I remember correctly he probably weighed no more than 160lbs mid 20s early 30s possibly had gages in ears and maybe a piercing

The day I moved into the facility on my current unit there was snow everywhere making it difficult to move into the facility. I was promised 1/2 off of the unit for all of the issues, however I am uncertain a credit was applied. The sliding electric door was stuck and had to be held open manually. There were numerous tows blocking the entrance and I was unable to access the closest door to my storage unit. I have pictures that document these facts. A $400.00 air conditioner was stolen along with other items and boxes out of a unit I vacated. When I requested a claim be filed for theft I was continuously put off and have dealt with retaliation for speaking up for my legal rights. I was forced to contact the main office and reached someone who finally gave me the regional managers telephone number, as no one would provide the regional managers telephone number to resolve basic issues. Brittani, the Regional Manager was very helpful and professional. I was lied to and treated poorly and bullied by the current S. Willow facility manager, Richard. Before I spoke up in regards to the theft I had no issues with U-Haul. I would not recommend anyone rent from this facility. I am out a $400.00 air conditioner and other belongings that were stolen out of a storage unit I rented. I paid for insurance on the storage unit and the insurance should have covered the theft. After speaking up about the theft I faced retaliation and would never use this facility again. I no longer trust the facility manager, Richard at South Willow Street U-Haul. The previous manager was respectful, kind and caring. The current manager is unprofessional, rude, abusive and does not respect the customers, or honor his spoken words. I am thankful for the Regional Manager Brittani for professionally and maturely handling my concerns, however the fact still remains that a theft took place and U-Haul refuses to take responsibility for this criminal action against me. U-Haul retaliates against those who are robbed at this facility. I have met several amazing young women staff at this facility who went out of their way to provide kind and caring service, however with the current facility manager they are afraid.

The truck tires were very shaky and the windshield was filthy on the inside causing glare at night. When I dropped the truck off the person who assisted me was not friendly AT ALL and had an attitude. Whoever this person is should be more mindful Of customer interactions and greeting them with a better attitude. Picking up the truck was simple and the staff was very friendly.

Why is returning the truck after hours via mobile phone such a hassle? The website wouldn't load because the uhaul location is in a dead zone, the uhaul website wouldn't allow my phone to share my location. Picking up the truck in the first place was a mess, not enough ppl working.

Fast and easy. Technology has really helped speed up the process of renting. I walked right in and confirmed my reservation (under 10 mins). Dropped trailer off (5 mins). Friendly staff. 10/10 recommend.

I thought the check in time was a little long considering I pre-booked and paid online. Took about 15 minutes and there was no other customers. Basically I had to go through the whole process all over again. So the online part was a waste of time. All the stuff they try to sell you in the online process was a little annoying!

It was not good start after we arrived at initial location and told the unit was not there, need to go other location in Manchester. On the way we revived call regarding this issue. Receptionist at Manchester office was fine however after that no clear direction from land crews where and who is going to install. We were just standing there like idiots.

I rented a trailer for 12/3-12/4 and another for 12/4-12/6. I returned the first one 5 hrs later on 12/3. Asked if I could take the 12/4 rental so I would not have to come back on 12/4. I reserved for a 3 day rental was charged for 4 days. Cheap way to make a buck, next time I'll just drop run, return.

When a customer calls telling you that it feels like a tire might fall off and your technicians wack the tires with a stick and say “you're good to go” that's absolutely ridiculous. When a tech doesn't even open the uhaul but says that the weight is too much on the rear axle via text that makes it worse. When the woman on the phone tells you to just rearrange the load and keep driving over 600 miles I almost lost my mind. I'll never ever recommend uhaul for long drives. They do not care if you are in danger driving their vehicles they only care about the money!

We were not properly explained the insurance and coverage. When picking up we were only given one option for insurance and apparently it does not cover overhead accidents. Unfortunately we had an overhead accident and were charged an arm and a leg to repair a truck built out of fiber glass and aluminum. For what we paid we could have just bought all new furniture and not moved any of our old furniture into the new house. We were also told the insurance wouldn't cover my furniture that was damaged during the accident. Very disappointing. They tell told me I could have read through disclosure emailed to me but you also only have 30 minutes to change your mind and add additional insurance.

The customer service representative I had was awful she refused to rent me a box truck at first she said there was some available and then she told me there was none she seemed to be overwhelmed because the line was long and there was only one other worker so I called my friend inside the store to rent a box truck and sure enough she gave her one the sales representative name was andrea she needs to be retrained because her actions was not okay
