The So. Willow UHaul Center saved our move following a dismal experience with the QuickLift neighborhood UHaul in Weare NH. Eventually, I felt I had to switch my reservation at the last minute to the Manchester center. There the staff were professional, pleasant and efficient, and I have only good things to say about them. I want to be clear--the QuickLift manager was never rude, just indifferent and unreliable. He failed to follow through on promises, did not return calls, made errors in my reservation, provided inaccurate information, repeatedly put me on hold to deal with other customers. He eventually left me wondering whether the truck I reserved would show up at all or exactly when I might count on picking it up. These confusions and ambiguities occurred over several weeks, so this was not a matter of the manager just having a bad day.. Words fail to express how much anxiety he created for us as we planned our move. I've used UHaul numerous times over the years, usually with generally quite satisfactory results. QuickLift was my first genuinely unsatisfactory experiece and I would not recommend it.. The Manchester Uhaul Center was first-rate, and I do recommend them.

upon removing my contents from a storage unit i only had for 60 days I discovered an incredible amount of water damage to several pieces of my furniture my office desk / shelving unit was destroyed, along with my bedroom dresser, large mirror attachment, armoire, both night stands along with a professional grade whiteboard and the master bedroom King mattress! What really bothers me is that the facility manager never bothered to reach out instead had an employee come out and hand me an insurance pamphlet for me to call and file a claim! what great customer service, I will filing the claim this evening as i continue to uncover additional damage, along with the many pictures I took of the damage also the employee took pictures as well what she did with them I'm have no idea. I expect a call from someone in your organization by EOD 9/10, as a footnote I'm a Boston sports TV / radio personality and if nothing is completed like i expect it would be ill be sharing my experience high and wide i can assure you of that. 2 Comments #1: The Dolly and Moving blankets, that were NOT requested are mounted along the wall and are IN THE WAY to fully use the length of truck that I paid for. IF they HAVE TO BE mounted in the truck I would highly suggest they be mounted on the same side as the gas tank's cap. The Gas cap invades the floor of the truck and interrupts the ability to put items against the wall. So, put the dolly and blankets in the same area so that only 1 side of the truck is not usable. {If the dolly and blankets do not have to be there - DON'T INSTALL them! I purposefully did not select them when ordering, but they were there, so I was not able to bring all the items i wanted in this trip because they were in the way. #2. The truck I rented had VERY loose steering, making it difficult to drive. You really should ask more questions in your Review Survey - unless you really don't want an accurate survey.

The customer service representative I had was awful she refused to rent me a box truck at first she said there was some available and then she told me there was none she seemed to be overwhelmed because the line was long and there was only one other worker so I called my friend inside the store to rent a box truck and sure enough she gave her one the sales representative name was andrea she needs to be retrained because her actions was not okay

I was moving in the Boston area and Manchester was an hour away so I had to spent 4 hours total of my hectic moving day driving between those cities to pick up and drop off the truck. The location was great and helpful once I got there, but it would be much better if there were enough trucks in Boston.

Concord store made a reservation for me. I was not notified, and when I went to pick up rental it was not there. They told me to pick up dolly in Manchester. This cost me 2 hours and 4 gallons of gas, very inconvenient. They offered no compensation, disappointing.

OMG, the wait time on the phone is obnoxious. The odometer/gas gage picture would not load so I couldn't complete the self return at 10 PM and was charged the $20 "convenience" fee. That pissed me off. Other than those things, it was a fine rental.

I made my initial uhaul reservation at a location in Concord, NH near my home. The time for my to pick up the uhaul was changed an hour before I was suppose to pick it up. The manager in concord reserved me a smaller uhaul in Weare, NH. I was 5 minutes away from picking it up, when I was called and told they no longer had a truck for me and it was given to a walk in. The manager, Tim, in Manchester was able to reserve me yet a third truck. He worked with Sam to make sure I didn't lose yet a third truck that day. Their common sense, business skills, professionalism and ability to work with a very angry customer were top notch. They get 5 stars. However, the booking system by Uhaul needs an overhaul to prevent this from happening to other customers. The systems incompetence set back the whole day, the movers I had arranged, the amount of space we had available and inconvenienced a lot of people. The booking system uhaul uses clearly does not communicate well between locations or honor your reservation. No one should have to deal with trying to scramble to find a truck when they have booked one. Our move was an emotional one and tied to loss. It was hard enough, let alone having to deal with an inadequate system. Additionally when I returned the truck, I was incorrectly charged and was on the phone for 90 minutes to get the charges corrected. Adding further proof that their system, is in dire need of an overhaul. I would not use uhaul again.

There should be an express check-in. I do all the express check-in on line. When I get to U-Haul, I have to wait in line for almost 30 minutes. It would be so nice to be able to check in outside, grab the trailer and be gone. There was only one person working the counter with several people in line. All the associates were very pleasant!

Maybe when a Customer calls to reserve a Truck that the piece of equipment requested and confirmed available is actually moved from qoute to reservation. So when Customer comes in next day to pick up Truck that he ASSUMES is reserved through call, it actually is there for him. Furthermore, being told to drive to another location because they now have no Truck and DESPERATELY NEED what they expected. Then given an upgrade (Confirmed now by Mgr in person) to next size up becuz he couldn't grab the size needed fast enough in system due to volume activity at alternative location and for the aggravation. Then getting to alternate local and being told Adamantly NO "I can't give you the next size up" - by closing Mgr on 8/13 - "I can't change the rates nor give you next size up"... So bottom line Synopsis..2.0 hrs of time taken up chasing a Trk. Told one thing one phone and another in person upon arrival. Told one thing in person and received a totally different Customer Satisfaction outcome... So No! If there was less than your scale in the negative ratings..I would have gone down as far as scale could go in rating..IT SUCKED! PERIOD! KM

I needed a larger unit. I asked the person working, who told me to bad, without suggesting another location less than 10 min away which had over 500 empty units. I had to find this out on my own, and now have to move the items we already had put into this storage unti another day.

When I got there the Staff was on his cell phone and me and other gentleman behind keep saying hello the staff won't answer us, his head was facing down on his phone, 1min later after I said are you going to help us or not he then raise his head and a phone call came in on his cell phone and he picked it up and keep us waiting still. The staff is a big guy I believe his name his Chris I don't quite remember. Such a bad experience with the staff.

Told me I got a $70 room (I asked for the cheapest due to little storage) then the bill comes and it's $120!! They messed up on their end and I got stuck paying $50 more. They gave back the late fee but still if I have paperwork for a $70 room I expect to pay $70 for said room.

There wasn't clear instruction about how to get the access card to enter the storage facility. When I went in the store to get the card no instruction was given, so I had to go back in a second time and then they told me I had to swipe the key card twice on 2 separate panels to gain access.

I arrived at site, and storage unit was not suitable and easily accessible because there were stairs and no elevator making it difficult to move furniture and mattress. Had to go to Bedford. NH facility to get appropriate storage and return truck. Very frustrating experience given that the storage space was recommended by U-Haul and ended up no be available le upon arrival.

Back in 2009 I rented a large truck from. Uhaul in Tilton, NH. and the UHaul Staff was Excellent. In 2018 I rented a storage unit from UHaul in Concord, NH and they were also excellent. Today Thursday October 15, 2020 I rented a storage unit from Arielle Vargas at your Manchester NH. Branch. Just when I thought the Customer Service at UHaul couldn't get any better Arielle and all the Employees at UHaul in Manchester NH. proved me wrong. U-Haul/NH has always been good to me. It's a pristine shop,professional and knowledgeable staff, and the feeling that I matter as a customer with both the move and the storage situation. I've run into some very dificult times with my health (and in turn, my finances), and U-Haul has been kind and as understanding as a business can be--never once making me feel bad but rather doing all they can to see me to the other side of this thing. I will always have good things to say about U-Haul as a result. Thank you all very much.

We needed to upgrade our storage room to a larger one, we had to walk around the place 5x and wait like 10 additional minutes to find someone to help us. Then, not her fault, but she was new and did not know anything. They saw us pull in with the 27foot truck, we told them it was completely full, and the room that we were upgraded to did not even fit our stuff. we had to bring more stuff back to where we are staying, which is definately not the point of having a storage unit. I cannot even walk in there, so there is NO way of me finding anything ever until we move it all out. They should be knowledgeable of what size rooms will fit the trucks that people pull in with. If they knew they did not have a unit large enough to accommodate, I would expect them to get on the phone with a different uhaul in manchester or close by and find one that would be sufficient. If that is not possible, youre better off letting the customer know that rather than having an unhappy customer, because now my finace said he will never use uhaul again. and i really am not happy that i cannot go there to look for stuff when i want it. just saying- not completely her fault, she was new, but she should not have been left in that situation, there should have been someone knowledgeable with her until she was sufficiently trained.
