2 things. First I was â€œlateâ€ to my reservation time with an emergency. When I was close to premises I checked my email and my reservation was cancelled without a courtesy call. That would have been nice like times in the past to get a courtesy call that they were cancelling. Second I still have not received a receipt. Can you please forward that to my email asapDrew B.

I called several times to confirm the trailer I needed had been returned before going. I was put on hold, after 10 mins I hung up and called back, just to be put on hold again. This time I held for 5. I called back a 3rd time and again was put on hold. This time I did not hang up. I stayed on hold until I arrived to the location - a total of 46 mins that time. When I arrived, there was not a single customer there and 4 employees just sitting around inside. When I mentioned it to the girl that helped me, she said she had just come in and noone told her anyone was on hold. Some of the staff just dont give a darn about customer serviceleah H.

Experience was frustrating and disappointing. We weren't able to unload until Friday Aug. 5. U Box arrived 2 days late and had to wait another day to have access to it. We were scheduled for Aug. 2 arrival and unload on the 3rd. I was told by the Smyrna location that we would receive a $50 credit for each day it was late so I contacted customer service regarding this credit. I was transferred to a manager to inquire about my credit and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. She would not give me her name and hung up on me. I have been a u haul customer for years since we move often. Sadly I do not plan to use u haul again..Debra A.

Also I was inadvertently/wrongly placed on your E-Alert system which precluded me from renting on my original requested day and having to jump through unnecessary hoops and delays - overall I give my experience a 6/10Mark F.

I did not rent from this location and yet got charged for it. I have not been able to reach the person at uhaul who can resolve this for me. I keep being transferred around and out on hold and sent back to the beginning of the phone queue. It is exhausting and frustrating.Ann K.

I have rented from this location since 2015 about 6xs. It is the only location I use I have never had any issues with the customer service or the services provided. I rented a storage & did not realize how small it wasâ€¦I saw it & immediately asked for a refund to go & find another storage that would be a 10x20. The guy reversed & it was back in my account in 48hrs. All of the staff are pleasant. Great location.Aria M.
3 days before my rental I set up this location as the drop off. When I got to the location to drop off the trailer I was told they were full and could not take the trailer. I was in Atlanta and still had to drive 200 miles back to Dothan, AL and yet I had to drive around to find another drop off location. I tried to call Uhaul but there was a 30 min wait for the next CSR. So does Uhaul take responsibility and pay for the extra gas it took to find another location? This is not cool! I was very tired from moving all day and just wanted to drop off the trailer. What are my options if this happens again? Does Uhaul even want my business?Philip B.

I specifically asked for a low mileage 26' truck and was told they only had one for one-way rental. The truck had 151K miles on it and no air conditioning. I drove from Atlanta to South Florida, 11 hours in 97 degree heat with no air. That truck should never have been available to rent. The drop-off site confirmed the A/C was not working. The staff was easy to work with and made the experience easy! We have professional movers coming but the UHaul gave us a chance to get a head start on settling in and the ability to pick up a piece of furniture for the new house.kristen W.
My feedback on the facility is that I wish more of the larger units were available at floor level to avoid stairs or a short ramp was in place of the stairs. It also seemed like the motion sensor lights would only activate from the front of the building so with our unit being on the backside, someone had to walk up and down the hall to turn the lights back on. I rented a 10' truck today. From 1 to 10pm. I just returned the truck (7:30pm), but before returning the truck, I pumped some gas. I didn't know how much it would take to make it to 1/2, so I pumped $15. When I turned the truck in, it showed 7/8 of the tank filled. I asked the guy working if there was any way to get some type of credit for the extra gas I had pumped. I don't think it's right for a client to be charged $5.99 per gallon if a truck is returned with less gas, but not credited or reimburse us the truck is returned with EXTRA gas. Almost twice as much. I would like to get reimbursed or receive some sort of credit. Thank you,Emanuel T.

The attendant ru Ning the computer during my check-in had significant difficulty completing that task. I don't know if it was her lacking computer skills or if it was the software or even if the computer was on the fritz. But it took almost 45 minutes for me to check out a simple tow dolly.Kevin Y.

Everything was great with the exception that your representative checked that you had more gas in your truck than you actually did so before I left your property I took a picture of where the gas hand was in when I came back I spoke to the check in person showed him the picture he check the time that I took the picture and the time that I checked in to see that I had not left the property based on the fact that my timing check out from the register check out from the picture was more than proof that the gas hand has not been that the truck had not been driven off the property that is important considering how much gas cost these daysJoyce S.

Biggest complaint was that my reservation was cancelled without notification because I arrived 70 mins after the reservation time - which I found out at 60 mins the reservation is released. There was nothing in the reservation email that talked about a 60 min â€œgrace period.â€ Store agent said it was corporate policy and there was nothing she could do and also said it would do me no good to complain to her or Uhaul corporate. Basic attitude was we really don't care because we have so many people wanting rentals we just booked it with another customer. Luckily I just happened to get the last truck (15' vs 26') by about 2 mins before being rented to another customer. Again, my biggest complaint with U-Haul is lack of notification you have to pick up within 60 mins of reservation time or it's releases (if I would have known I would have called) and lack of check in from local store before releasing the reservation. Local agent just didn't seem to care.Dale J.

Comparing to other U-Haul storage facilities, this one is much cleaner and better maintained. It is well lit, fairly clean, and I really appreciated the courtesy carts to assist moving my stuff into the storage unit. I stored my belongings here for three months. Each time I can in contact with the staff they were always friendly and eager to help. I also rented my Uhaul from them and the process was easy and again they were friendly. They checked in the Uhaul, closed out both my storages and checked in my Uhaul with little help from me. While the overall experience was great, unfortunately, I was rented a unit that was already rented and sold a lock that was not the right one. It was a doozy when I arrived and could not put my stuff in the assigned unit. However, when I told the store mgr of the issues the next day, he took the time and care to make everything okay. It would be more convenient is the access hours were extended after 10pm. I had two units. I closed out one online with no issue. The second one was closed without my consent. I had emptied the unit and it still had my personal lock on it. It was closed after I had already paid for the month. I will visit the location to get an explanation. We had a concession trailer stored there for 4 years. We had no issues whatsoever with this company. David the store manager was super helpful when it came time to finally remove our trailer from their facility. We had to get it towed to our house from their facility and it was quite the job because it sat there for so long. He took his time helping the tow truck driver to come up with ways to get the trailer to roll, but the tires were flat. He tried to fill them and they wouldn't inflate, it wasn't on the rim properly, so he took the tires off filled them with air, and then placed them back properly so that the tow truck driver could tow it, thank you so much for that. I had made a reservation for a storage unit and called and confirmed the day before and the day of. They said they had it but when arriving they lost my reservation. They gave me a unit but it had a lock on it and they didn't have a key my movers were on hourly pay. So that cause their time to increase. More money out of my pocket.
