Wrong quote given on the phone at the time of rental. I requested a one way rental approximately 1 month before I needed the truck and received a call the day before telling me there were none available. Agreed to return the truck being quoted on the phone .89 a KM. Got the truck and was quoted on paper 1.00 per KM. Checked in online and was quoted .69 per KM. Got my final bill upon returning the truck and was charged 1.09 a MILE. Very confusing experience, will never use UHAUL services again after this. Would love if someone could reach out regarding this. I have zero email record of the new quote I was promised by the rep in person. I also returned the truck over full and super clean.Brittney Y.

Uhaul was worst experience ever for me. I booked uhaul a month ago, they called me a day before and said they don't have a 20' truck available for me and because it is one way. Also, representative didn't help me at all as she said truck is not available at any location and cancel it and get 10' truck instead. And do trip twice as my pick up was from mississauga to drop off whitby. Next day I went to pick up as per my app said heena convenience and pick up was on oakwill. Someone from store helped me to get 26' truck. Representative could have done the same thing on call. Horribly horrible experience. I rented a 20 foot truck 5 mins away from my place a week prior to my moving date, however, on the day of, they gave me a 9 foot cargo van. They did call me once to confirm my reservation and left me a voice mail, however I was working that day and did not see the call or voice-mail. Uhaul should have tried calling again the next day and/or sent me an email (as I check that more often than voicemails). I ended up having to drive almost an hour away to pick up and drop off the uhual truck. I spent over $100 on uber and stress from driving a much bigger truck than i anticipated. Return process was great. Helpful staff, prompt, clear, easy. Pickup was painful and has been every time I've rented here. The counter seems incredibly slow; I stood in line just to pick up my pre-made reservation for 45 minutes. If the reservation process online isn't sufficient to expedite morning pickup, update the process to reduce the onsite administrative work!John B.

I first booked my Uhaul van at the south service road in Oakville. Went there to pick up my van at 7:30, I wasn't able to. My request online self check out was changed to manual. I had to wait until 9:00 am for someone to come in. Then they sent me to Royal Windsor drive location to pick up from there. Your system today made everything difficult. I had a major move today, moving into a detached house: something you dont do everyday: i had my reservation booked for 7:30 AM. The store opens at 7am. I was there at 7::15 am and observed a large line outside the front doors. The store ended up openikg at 8:15 am, 1 hr and 15 min late: not something you want to deal with on your big move. I finally received my truck and it was dirty inside. An employee did mop it but it was then slippery and wet inside. Making it hard to walk and also getting my furniture wet. Truck was clean but the AC wasn't working (30 degree heat both days I was moving stuff) and the driver side window handle was broken. Overall easy pick up and return. I good experience with the cargo van: the backup camera, strong engine, good HVAC on a muggy day, all made for a comfy and pretty easy drive. It helped to watch YouTube videos beforehand on what to expect. This location does have limited parking, and it would help to put a sign at the front door saying where the key drop-off is. I also wish I brought wipes to clean up crumbs in the cupholders from the previous user, but the van was overall pretty clean.Jennifer P.

The automated return process is a waste of time, and I should have paid the extra $19.95 and skipped this nonsensical step. The vehicle has a serious brake issue, and there is a drivetrain/transmission problem on a vehicle with 25,550km on the odometer. It's been abused My complaint is that I was charged for an equipment dolly, your paperwork is printed so small that I didn't see it on the contract. Regardless, I was not given a dolly, and your Mississauga location has cameras to confirm this. The photos I had to provide of the inside of the van upon return do not show an equipment dolly because I did not get one. I am now awaiting the results of a dispute. I have the dispute number but cannot access it while in my email filij gout this survey. For reference my contract number is 19297202. Thank you, I await the $7.00 plus tax credit for equipment I didn't get.Russel O.

I had a problem turning the ignition to start the truck , it was obvious the truck showed it's age and was not totally mechanically sound , one should not wait for it to break before replacing parts to maintain it. It could have ended up costing U-haul more time and money not to mention time and money for the client. Luckily I was able to start it after giggling the gear shift and the steering wheel. Thank you. My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain.
