Customer service was below average at this location. Customer service agent was sounding so rude and was busy talking to someone inside, instead giving preference to cutomer waiting at counter. After that....NO clear instructions about the pick up truck location. When we were struggling to find truck.. another experience ...another lady said check on side...but NO truck was there as per the KEY assigned to us....we were keep on looking ...after struggling we found truck parked at back..behind couple of trucks...we requested same lady..help us to take out the truck...she replied rudly..."you dont know how to take out truck...from back...then how will you drive on road".....she took out the truck for us like, she is doing BIG favour to us...we inspected the truck and found some scratches on body...then i came at customer service to brought in to her knowledge and asked for stickers to put on scraches...she said you can find sticker out side..again NO clear instructions...we found one male person outside and he put some stickers on scraches... Very bad experience...i will not pick this location next move...staff needs some serious customer service training. Forgot to mentioned...when i asked about drop off location ...customer service told me this 800 number 24/7 working i can call them any time...which was not true...800 number working only up to 7 pm...i called many times and just to let you know...no emergency road side assistance was picking either...JAGATDEEP R.

The storage I had booked from online wasn't actually available and they said they only had a bigger size storage they could give us instead but refused to price match it to the same price I was supposed to pay so I end up having to pay $50 more per month because it's larger even though it was their mistake.Blake B.

Not location specific but 3 major issues with U-Haul. I booked about a month in advance. 3 days prior you called and said: 1) no 26 foot trucks available only 20. 2) I had to bring truck back to rental location, could no longer drop off where I moved to as I was told I could when I booked. (extra 70Km drive) 3) the location I chose didn't actually do uhaul anymore so I had to drive 30 mins away. Why did the website let my choose it then? I don't understand the point of a reservation if none of the things I requested were available. Initially they also told me the two Dolly's I booked may not be available either, but they were able to find them. Would not likely use uhaul againERIC M.

The lady that helped me was very rude & called me a liar. She asked for a contact number for someone other than me, so I gave her my dads phone numberâ€¦when she asked me his name I told her (we have the same name) she said I can't use myselfâ€¦so I told her it was my dad and I'm a Jr. so we have the same name. She said I was lying and called the number. She only stopped calling me a liar when she heard his voicemail say the same name. Worse customer service experience I have ever received. Hopefully you guys can train/coach this employee even witnesses in the store at the time were disappointed.HAROLD B.

I've moved into two other self-storage facilities in GTA recently. U-Haul on Rexdale was the best by far. I'm a female. I could not lift the door on the locker in one facility any more than 2 and 1/2 feet. It was hard getting in and out. I vacated my items without even asking for a refund. The other facility didn't bother to clean out the locker before renting. I ended up spending a day purchasing a small broom, and sweeping the entire locker ... I am not comfortable with the locker without having washed the floor, so I keep a box of sanitary wipes in the locker. The security at U-Haul is excellent because access hours are limited, and there appears to be a number of people always around. It is very very very clean and apparently, the lockers are kept in good repair. Furthermore, the staff are very considerate and friendly. The individual who introduced me to the locker initially, took the time to be very explicit and clear in her instructions. If U-Haul on Rexdale, had a locker large enough, I would definitely be staying despite this location being quite a distance from my home in North York.Karen P. | Overall Experience
I will preface my feedback with the caveat that your outside attendants were wonderfulâ€"great customer service and very helpful with Uhauls new car share program. Your inside office staff however were dismissive and didn't show any interest in helping their customer. Your car share program falls short in the customer experience departmentâ€"Clunky online portal and overall poor communication/executionâ€"after a long day of moving and driving I don't want the extra task to log km, gas levels, truck condition. Your office staff really gave me the impression that because â€˜I signed up for it it was my problem'. In Uhaul's attempt to reduce overhead and costs, they have also reduced customer experience and my desire to rent with them again.Robert L.

First they send me to allocation that didn't have the truck I requested I had to call them several times to see what was happening cause also there was no one un the first location they sent me. Then the wait time to get the truck was more than 40min and also they charged me for extra tools. ( I didn't use any tools, was just the truck ) from Toronto to Ottawa giving the truck next day was 450$ ( less than 24hrs. )RICARDO H.

No one wanted to help me when I returned the vehicle. I went inside to say I returned it and they sent me outside to say someone else outside could help my while the lady inside was not busy, the place was empty, she could have easily thanked me for returning it and given me a receipt. They also charged me or a furniture dolly they never gave me, when I asked for it in the beginning they went to look for it and never came back with it so I left. They were some of the laziest people I have ever seen. The only positive was when I went to pick up the truck in the morning, the lady helping me then was great, she was quick and helpful unlike the people outside and unlike the lady who I spoke to inside when I returned the vehicle.OSWALDODANIEL R.

Tell them NOT to visit this location. Multiple People waiting in line without masks on. Trucks everywhere, no clear indication where to leave your rented truck. I waited in line for a half hour to be told ( rudely) that drop off is outside.I felt bad for the drop-off staff,they were overwhelmed and understaffed. I don't think the manager is present at this location. I will never visit this location again, it's so bad I might not ever use Uhaul again.Shaun G.

Lacking response and seems customer service is bottom of their list. Could not find outside help, but once I did great help to connect. Inside service has to be improved or maybe I just hit a bad day. I like uhaul first time at this location and if I don't need to go back I will not be going back. Jayden was amazing during pick up. She was super helpful to everyone including me. However, at drop off the staff was terrible. I stopped at the drop off area and when I waved to the attendant he was terrible. He literally waved me off and rudely spoke to me. I was surprised. Then the next attendant came but gestured to go somewhere without actually telling me exactly what she wanted to do. Then she had me park somewhere else and had me sit them while she clean the trailer still attached to my car. She then told be to go around back and left me sitting there. I had the trailer half I hatched by myself when she told me to back into a space. I said no and she was surprised. It was seriously the worst. I'd never rent from this place ever againANDREAM G.

After reserving online for a specific pickup time, it was a hassle to have to wait a while for service and then have to go through a rather long process. The attendant also continuously was assisting her colleague instead of me, her customer in a hurry. It was difficult to understand her instructions as well as she either spoke fast or simply not clearly enough. I also feel as though I was charged much more than I had expected considering the charge per mule was SUPPOSE to be well under $1/mile, not over.NATHALIEG M.

Your staff are lazy and very rude. They are not very helpful in any ways. I was told that the service I needed needs 2 hour job but then when I went there they say it will take 5 to 6 hours. The guy who's supposed to do the service was sitting inside a uhaul pickup truck and talking in the phone when he know I was waiting for him. After 15 minutes of wait, I went to him and told him my appointment with him is 10 am. He started 10:45 and told me I can just leave my car. I asked the lady in the desk if she can help me get Uber and I will just pay her cash. I told her where I'm going and she said it will cost me $75. When I called my son yo get me uber it was just $31. She tried to rip costumer who needed help? Very poor costumer service.Joy T.

I tried to call 4 times prior to going there and no one picked up the phone. The 1st location on Keele St gave me a broken truck and I had to drive around for 2,5 hours. I did my best to find myself another truck prior to calling CS and fortunately, they had a 26' truck at this location and CS booked it for me.ALVARO S.

My only comment is a person blocked direct entrance to the "unloading area". I am a senior citizen and found it difficult to unload my belongings. He didn't move his vehicle to make our job easier. Only one of the 3 staff members working behind the desk knew what they were doing. She had to help the 2 others with everything. 3 people were in line in front of me and I was next it took 25 minutes for me to get to the check out desk and another 20 mins to get the keys to my storage unit. The staff is very slow and is unable multi task. This location is convenient however I would not recommend others this time. I did appreciate the staff member resetting my swipe card when it was not done done properly the first time and bringing out a rodent trap out to me at the storage unit.
