I made a reservation to have a truck at a location near my house for a specific date and time. If I didnt think to call the next day or so because I didnt receive a phone call when I was guaranteed one, I would not have found out that my reservation location not only moved 4 locations and that the time was also not what I wanted. This was the worst customer experience I have ever went thorugh. Never again will I do business with U-Haul

Every time experience I've had with uhaul it doesn't matter what your reservation is they never have your vehicle on time or in stock. It's always a problem.I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. It has been nothing but problems all 3 times with me.

After waiting in the long line, the equipment I had reserved was not there. I had to settle with a smaller trailer, the service rep was not very nice and there was no hand sanitizer available until I asked. One service rep was not wearing her mask properly. It was not professional.

Found out 3 hours before pick up that they didn't have a 15' truck and was given a 10' truck instead. Therefore I had to leave some of my stuff behind. I was also charged extra miles fee even though U-Haul switched the pick up location (to a place further from me). I will never use U-Haul again and will recommend to anyone that asks to use any other company.

Extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional employees. Despite already having dealt with a cancelled booking at another location 30 minutes away, I was treated poorly, threatened with extra fees, and told that I was lying about the lack of details I was provided with for my rescheduled booking. Basically if you book a truck at Uhaul, you guarantee yourself a CHANCE at getting a truck on the actual booking day. Requested a dolly and had to find the dolly myself and put it in the truck. I will never use Uhaul services again, and I will warn anyone I know who needs a truck rental about the terrible customer service and general experience I had with Uhaul. Save yourself the hassle and go with another reliable company!

Last minute change in time and location caused me a huge inconvenience .. they send me to pick up the truck to a very far location even though I booked it well ahead of time and they only informed me the night before ... Very bad experience ... They made me.take the truck at 4pm instead of 10 which resulted in me paying for extra day because I had to return after hours plus they sent to pick up the truck from a very far location ... And all of this in very last minute ...HUGE INCONVENIENCE .. plus no 50 dollars creat of the "guaranteed reservation" ... VERY VERY BAD SERVICE ... I'm not using you and recommending you to anybody I know

I had to travel over an hour to get a 15 ft truck from etobicoke south despite needing a bigger truck (20 ft). It would have been easier if more inventory was available closer to my location, beyond that it was ok. Check out was quick and drop off was fast, just remember that firefox does not work for image upload so make sure you have chrome installed on your mobile device(if dropping off after closing hours).

I was very disappointed in the service. Called 2 weeks ago and reserved a 9' cargo van. Got a call the night before and was told they would not have one available. I told them this was not good enough. They assured me they would get one for the next morning. 1 hour before pickup they phoned and said it would not be available but we could go to another location and pick up one. Not very happy we had to end up picking it up at a different location. Obviously someone has not done their job. Would never do business here again. One problem after another.

The ladies at the front desk were very happy, relaxed, and a pleasure to deal with. Their computer systems were down and they had to walk me through a manual re-entry of data, but they explained it to me and all the customers, keeping us all aware of the slight delays. They did a great job, and they should be commended. My equipment was right were they told me it would be, clean, and ready to go, no issues with the equipment.

Changed my location AFTER HOURS THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!!! Couldn't even call the store, and it was triple the distance from my original branch. When I got there, there was a line out the door so it took my over an hour to just pay for the tow dolly and pull around to the back to have someone hook it on. 2/3 debit machines didn't work so I had to switch tills and the women that were helping me would just have side conversations and answer phone calls out of nowhere without even saying “please excuse me for a moment” everything took twice as long because of human error and pure laziness. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

i was charged a full 24 hours for being late 5 hours. however one of the employees phone me asking if was going to return that day. yes, i did, but 5 hours late than my original 24 hrs. i called then customer service and the "guy" who spoke with me, was reluctanted in not listening my complaint and then, hung up on me!! its unfair get charge a full 24 hrs for being late just few hours, then, uhaul get this equipment and rent again , next morning while i already paid until end of that next morning... very unfair

Although I checked in online beforehand I waiting in line for 30 minutes to pickup my vehicle. There was only one person at the time I picked up. Dropofff was a good experience.

I did online check in after getting to the location, got the keys quickly from personnel inside and everything went smoothly until I checked the truck before leaving for 1/2 dozen furniture pads I had ordered as part of my reservation. It wasn't there in the truck, so I went inside and had to wait in line, and the person there took a long time to re-verify my details/reservation, causing 20 minute delay for me. What is the use of online check in if I have to verify extra utilities and have to spend a lot more extra time with personnel like this? Please check with the employees at this location and let them know about this. This is not acceptable service.

Received nothing from uhaul that I had requested. No moving blankets. No dolly for furniture. Understaffed at rexdale location. Clearly runs on island time. It took over a hour to get a pre-booked vehicle. Even used the online pickup. Didn't do very much. Trouble turning the vehicle in. The employee at 93 Edward Street in Cambridge was unfortunate as she was trying to fix the above issues. Took 45 mins to drop off.

Very poor and ignorant customer service. The person at the desk who represented her self as a manager failed to assist me in a professional manner. The individual when trailer was returned failed to assist me with the unhooking of the trailer since the mechanism that secures the trailer on the hitch was jammed. In addition the location i had initially booked was at ethel road and the did not have the trailer i had booked which resulted to drive to a different location another 30 min out of my way. I highly doubt that this will go far as a customer review but it was the only option since it takes 20 -30 min to get a customer service rep on the phone

I booked my truck to be picked up in Scarborough. I got a confirmation the day before saying the pick up location was downtown. I called and was told that yes it's been changed to downtown. I show up there and while I'm waiting in line I see my account stating a different Scarborough location now for pick up. As I'm staring at it I get a call saying my truck is ready in Etobicoke. I had to drive all the way there to get it. Absolute garbage company. Never renting from Uhaul again.

I have never in my life encountered rude, unproffessional and just uncouth customer service staff like yours, both over the phone and in person. 2 staff dropped my calls after waiting for almost an hour, at last I had to say to the lady who at last booked me a track (she has an American accent, Southern to be specific) please do not drop and she was awesome. I was to recieve a call confirming pickup, no one did. I went to Weston/Rogers and Rexdale locations and staff were buzy taking their time chatting away as I waited. Im disgusted by U-Haul!

Uhaul changes my original location and never told me. The day I supposed to pick up my truck took me about 2 hours to reach my truck on the location Uhauld decided my truck was available. Then, I got charged double for everything due to the time that I returned. But what Uhaul doesn't understand is that because that schedule change, all my elevator appointments messed up and I finish my moving 5 hours later than it was planned initially. Is a terrible service...

Faster service. I had to go to two uhaul locations just to pick up a truck I had reserved weeks ago. the service at the uhaul at Weston and Albion was extremely poor. Horrible customer service. The customer service at Rex dale location was better but I was next in line when I arrived and it took 45 mins for me to get service.

This booking was disappointing. Booked pickup at location 1, redirected to location 2, no trucks at location 2, redirected again to location 3. The $50 credit made up for the extra costs on the rental truck, but fails to take into consideration the extra costs for my vehicle being used to get to your locations, my time, and the fact that we were delayed picking up the vehicle, and delayed the person at the location with the item that we were collecting. Very frustrating experience. I need to rent another truck in 3 days and I'm not sure that I'll uhaul given this experience.

Not just this location but the whole experience of booking with Uhaul was a nightmare. I had booked a reservation with the U-Haul service online. I got a reservation number, time and location to where I was going to pick up the truck. It was stated that I would get a call on the Wednesday of my move week. That did not happen, as I for the call on the Thursday and I was moving on the Saturday. That's when I was contacted with a representative of this location that my reservation was moved to 4:30pm and not 6:00am. I told this to the customer service representatives and was met with an attitude and told that I had to call head off the following day. When I called in the morning I was told that when you book online, it's not a reservation but a "preferred" time and location you book. That is by far the stupidest system I have ever head of, why give you a reservation number then? Also, it is not clear that is what you are doing when you book online whether you are reserving a truck or simply asking for a "preferred time and location". Regardless, I continued talking to the rep on the phone and she suggested that I change my moving date to the Friday. I had no choice by to agree, however the call got disconnected and I had to call again. When I got another rep she told me she could not change the reservation time as she had not authority to do so and that I had to call another number. This did not make sense as I called the exact same number prior and the rep was going to change the pick up time to the same day. Without much choice, I got the number and began the process of again calling and waiting on hold for another hour. When I got through, I was told that I had call the Brampton distribution center and that I needed to be transferred over to the Toronto office. On hold again for another half hour I finally get through. The new rep tells me she needs to call the pick up location. When she does, she is put on hold from the pick up location and tells me she can't wait and that I should just call the pickup location myself. That's when I learned they had changed my pick up location from my original destination. I was not told this had happened. Had I had gone to the address originally provided I would have been directed to another location. CRAZY! Not willing to wait another 2 hours that I had already wasted I decided to go in person and talk to someone. So I called in a personal day at work and went to the Rexdale location. When I get there I tell them my story and they told me they had a truck available, which was great, but in the same breath I was told they were hesitant to offer me the truck as my original booking date conflicted to what I wanted to book for the day. Basically, I was told they might not be able to trust me to bring the truck back on time! This is extremely offensive as I have rented on multiple occasions from U-Haul and never have I've been late nor never not return a truck? At this point I just put on a smile and politely told the rep that I would return the truck and that they can trust me. What type of business model do you have where I as a customer have to convince you guys if I will or will not return the truck? Isn't thats what your your signing off for when you rent the truck, not to mention my ID, my credit card, and other info. My past history should have been enough. Like mentioned before, I just smiled and was able to get the truck. Terrible experience overall, had to miss work, waste time on the phone, talk to rude reps and be told that I might not be trusted to rent a truck without cause. I will try to avoid your company at all cost even though I know you guys own a monopoly on the moving truck industry. PS, I returned the truck at 6:50am with 10 mins to spare.

Only one of the 3 staff members working behind the desk knew what they were doing. She had to help the 2 others with everything. 3 people were in line in front of me and I was next it took 25 minutes for me to get to the check out desk and another 20 mins to get the keys to my storage unit. The staff is very slow and is unable multi task. This location is convenient however I would not recommend others this time. I did appreciate the staff member resetting my swipe card when it was not done done properly the first time and bringing out a rodent trap out to me at the storage unit. All other U-Haul locations were able to use the online reservation info however I had to fill out a paper copy at this location.

It took well over an hour to get our trailer. Hooked it up and brake lights didn’t work. Staff slowly tried to fix them and an hour later said they were “tired of this”...all the while not communicating with us. Then offered a trailer at a facility at least a half hour out of our way. We asked for a truck then instead. Were given one another 1/2 hour later reluctantly with very rude staff. Our kids even commented how rude the staff were.
