Completely screwed up my information and were extremely rude to my friend. I had a 24 hour rental to be dropped off in Gaithersburg Maryland, and I received a receipt saying I dropped the van off in Allentown PA the night before I was scheduled to drop it off. I was given $225 in additional incorrect charges as a result, that are still being resolved. This is an incompetent location.

The staff was nice, but this experience was a nightmare. Thanks for making my move hell on earth, U-Haul. My U-Box was guaranteed to arrive here on the 12th. I drove up to Baltimore from New Orleans and went to my apartment, only to realize my U-Box was nowhere to be found. The faculty and staff at this location had absolutely no idea when it would arrive. First, they said the evening of the 13th. It didn’t arrive then. Then they said the afternoon of the 14th, it didn’t arrive then either. We showed up IN PERSON on the 15th only to discover the Ubox had just arrived, and they did not plan on delivering it til MONDAY!! We decided to deliver the Ubox to my apartment ourselves!! My movers I scheduled for the 13th could not make it that day, so I had to book new movers. U-Haul, you BETTER be giving me a refund for my movinghelp.com order I DID NOT USE because your U-Box arrived 3 DAYS LATE!! You also BETTER refund me the Ubox delivery fee as I picked up the box from the location MYSELF!! In this time period, since my apartment had NO FURNITURE, we had to book hotels for those nights. We stayed on the phone with customer service for HOURS AND HOURS—LITERALLY, going from person to person, and NOT A SINGLE PERSON KNEW WHERE OUR UBOX WAS OR WHEN IT WOULD ARRIVE. U-Haul, you are unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright unethical for doing this. This process was stressful and your customer service is, for lack of better term, absolute GARBAGE. This review is NOT of the staff at the UHaul at Pulaski highway, but of the company and it’s staff responsible for delivery of my UBox. The staff at this location were kind and helpful, and they said this was out of their control. To everyone reading, for your sake and dignity, stay away from this horrendous company. They don’t care about you or your valuable time, and will keep you on hold for hours and hours and frustrated beyond measure.

My feedback is to let customers know if they have any balance to pay when you drop off the truck or whatever you rent cause in my experience I own $1.38 ¢ now I got an email with that balance unpaid and the email say they can charge me $30 fee for that balance so I have to pay that in the next 7 bussines day or is going to collection ?? the problem is not the money is the time and miss communication when you drop off so pay attention next time. Other then that everything is well. Thank you.

The passenger side mirror was broken/loose and kept turning away from the truck making it impossible to drive with caution and switch lanes due to not being able to see any traffic in the right hand lane. One of the representatives misplaced my check-out slip and was going to double charge me based on the previous customers charge. He asked if I put gas back in the truck, then handed me a slip that belong to a previous customer. The equipment numbers were different, the mileage was 47,000 miles more that what was on the truck I rented. So I asked him how was it possible for me to drive 47,000 miles within the 2 hours and 15 min that I had the truck. He then looked around and found my actual check-out slip and made the changes. He did not apologize after making me look like a fool in front of another employee and other customers. My experience was very underwhelming. :-(

Staff, especially lady managing front desk was outstanding. Location is perfect and full of vehicles which makes renting easy. Only downside is that the trucks are damaged, old, and in poor condition. I don't feel safe driving them but its understood as people beat them up.

Problem I have is they didn't let me know the days I rented the mileage was included I call Heather let her no the miles didn't seems to add up she fussed me out so I dropped the truck off the guy said it was $400 and something dollars he didn't know they was debiting money from my card everyday so I goes in to talk to the manager and she like oh well it's all on hold anyway you're balance is $190 ok no problem better that $400 something dollars where this should all be accounted for

I called this Uhaul location right when I needed a truck b/c Budget Truck Rental last minute told me they did not have a vehicle for me. While Uhaul is more expensive, it is well worth it. Right from scheduling on the phone to dropping the Uhaul back off — everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and professional. I was in a slight panic with having no truck and it being moving day and Uhaul came in and saved the day — literally.

It was far away from my storage unit. I hope l don’t get charges the extra mileage. Also, the gas reported on original documents state it was half full. When I sat in the uHaul silt was only 3/8 full of gas. The sales lady said she would adjust my original gas amount. Never heard from her.

I was helping my daughter move and from my initial visit to the return of the equipment, my experience was excellent. Customer service was superb. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and very professional. This wasn't the closest location for me but Im so glad I came here. Will be moving in a few days myself and will definitely come back to this location.

When I received the vehicle the tank was three quarters full. When I returned it,I returned three quarters full. The service woman tried to charge me for the remaining fuel. I explained to her that’s how I received it. I had taken a photo on my cell to show her and she still gave me a hard time. She said she would let it go this time. According to your contract I was supposed to receive a vehicle completely fueled. So somebody dropped the ball. She made me feel like I did something wrong. She had said I should have notified someone there but I didn’t have time. Plus I had to bring the vehicle at a certain time so I shouldn’t be running around looking for someone when supposedly paid for a fully fueled vehicle

The lady working the front desk told me that the gas in the truck was 3/8 full and when I got in it, it was below the market she indicated during check out. I took a picture of the gas gauge showing it was lower and i showed her this when i checked the truck back in. She said she wouldn't charge me for the discrepancy this time and to say something to her before I leave the lot. I got my bill later and she ended up charging me for the gas anyway which was a lie. She was dishonest about the mixup. I would like my money refunded to me.

Customer confirmation that fuel level is correct at check out should not be the primary method of truck updates, it apparently is at this location. Also analog fuel gauges are inherent inaccurate. If customer comes back with receipt showing he purchased replacement gas minutes ago assuming a very conservative 4 miles per gallon after his 35 mile rental don't get into an illogical debate about the gas guage, while stopped on an incline, including such points as 60 gallon tanks, using a/c, old truck, etc.

My husband rented one of your trucks and the minute he drove off about a couple of minutes two of the trucks tires exploded on the highway and almost killed him.!! I was here for my motorcycle trolley pick up, i asked manager lady in morning 10:30 for hitch rent ,she had told me we don't rent hitch. I had to buy. When I come back to return same day afternoon asked the guy about hitch he had told we do rent hitch . When I went counter for return hitch because of wrong info she passed me so one another lady manager was not accepted my hitch because of used. I asked her another lady lie with customer. The staff was exceptionally helpful offering services I had overlooked including wiring adapters and hitch pins. The Service Provider used the term, 'Courtacy Call' to let her know if I was going to be late returning the trailer. Nicely put. I was 2+ hours late but I remembered to call because of the friendly way that was requested. For many years I worked with UHaul's Representative to AAMVA. Good people.

Lots of mice poops on my furniture. I dont think the place is well maintained. Also, why they painted over the hinges that open the door.???? I was nearly not able to open the door.

The associate that I spoke with on the phone said that my U Box would be available on the 13th, when we got there it was not ready but the lady at the desk went and set it all up for us herself.

Working with U-box was a terrible experience. My box was 6 days late and there was no communication from U-haul. I was never able to get through to the u-box customer service line.

Very helpful staff. We have never used a storage unit before,so we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleased with the security, and cleanliness. This facility only has inside storage.
