When my things were going up for auction I expressed that all I wanted out of a full storage unit was a box of pictures because my mother and father have recently passed. I do understand there may be rules and consequences but the employees were so rude about it and showed no empathy. Even when I expressed that I could be supervised and the box was in the front of the storage they didn’t consider and gave me a cold no. Because my family pictures could not of any use to anyone I feel as though an exception could’ve been made. It was hurtful and a hard pill to swallow. When everything you own is ready to be given away I feel employees in this field should be trained to be empathetic. The employee that works at that location seriously needs some customer service training. She is rude, never talked to me, but at me. When I asked her a simple question. she responded with WE WILL GET THERE!!!. Everything that she said while speaking at me was short, and curt. She never told us where to park the truck upon our return. So when we brought the truck back a few hours later she snapped at us and pointed at the return area and said, CAN YOU PARK THE TRUCK RIGHT HERE, THIS IS THE RETURN AREA. Mind you she never told us that. So my disabled husband walked all the way across the parking lot to the place that we picked up the truck, and returned it to the same spot, because she bever told us about the return area. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO UHAUL. I will rent two men and a truck before I some back Uhaul!!!Dorothy A.

We were in the process of being removed from our home with nowhere to stay. These people at this location didn't care of our situation. They banned us from ever using their location again because we renewed our reservation online instead of returning in 24 hrs. The lady at the front desk is mean and rude and nasty. My Storage needs were met but however on multiple occasions where I paid my bill because I was working out of town, came back to my storage unit where the lock have been still on my storage unit. The ac didn't work and it's summer time. The window hand roller was missing on the passenger side. I didn't notice it until I had left. Then when I brought it back the man is going to ask me what happened to it once I reported it. If I knew maybe they could fix it. I don't like being accused of something I had no control over. I am not satisfied with my rental. I need another Uhaul this coming weekend and not even sure I want to use this location. My initial contact at this site was good, however the customer service I experienced upon returning the equipment was unacceptable. I will not use this again. U-Haul is not the only moving services. I was charged extra for being an hour late but the employee told me that the truck is rented by the day. The time I gave was an estimate as no one knows exactly how long it will take to move. I called prior to being late saying it will be another hour and I was charged an additional 81.00 when the price I paid at the counter was 86.00. the employee was nice but I don't think people moving should be charged late fees if trucks are rented by the day.charem H.

I had a pretty good experience with U-Haul. The cargo van I had reserved had a 'mishap' and was unavailable at the location I chose on the very morning I was supposed to pick it up, but the U-Haul folks worked hard to make sure sometime was available for me close-by so I didn't lose any time with my transport & plans.
