I reserved a 20', an appliance dolly, and some other equipment. The online check in process was more difficult than it needs to be. When I got home ready to load, none of the equipment was in the truck. I had to have an appliance dolly, so I had to drive back to the location to get one. That was about an extra 20 miles @ $1.09 a mile. Plus the time lost. I'm military and have rented from uhaul for many moves. I'll avoid uhaul in the future if possible.

I was charged for a dolly that I didn't use. I notified The individual that checked me in and he assured me it was would be removed from my invoice. As of tonight, I have not seen a corrected invoice which means I'm going to have to follow up and track down the refund because it doesn't appear the rep did their job.

Train your employees well and don't allow them to instruct customers without proper training. Also, don't allow a UHAUL truck to be transferred to another customer without a complete inspection and test. Stop telling your customer's they can do things to their personal car that will lead to damage.

The older gentleman was very friendly and helpful, the two younger employees that sat behind the counter on tier phones and acting annoyed that I interrupted their conversation with business were rude and unhelpful. They had not prepared my rental so I had to hike the lot get it ready and ask for the items I additionally ordered.

Fuck Uhaul! I reserved a 15' truck with a ramp 2/23/22. I went to Uhaul 3/25/22 and the one that was reserved for me was done in error as it had a faulty air bag sensor. It was being rented out to people but "they weren't supposed to," so I wasn't able to use it. There were no 15' or 20' trucks with a ramp in the entire city of Colorado Springs. I told the little brown man with the half beard behind the desk I made this reservation a month ago and my lease on my apartment ended 3/27/22 and he said "tires blow..." No tires blew on the truck I reserved. Uhaul just fucked up the reservation and put my name on a truck that store knew was faulty. I had to take a 10' truck with no ramp in desperation as I had 3 days to move all of my possessions to my new home. I only had the truck for a 2 day rental. Without the aid of a ramp and the smaller cargo room I could not transport all of my property in the 2 day window. I got last minute movers, thank Christ, on Sunday to finish moving my couch, dresser, bedframe, love seat, 3 bookshelves, nightstand and display case. It cost me $615.50 to pay for those movers because Uhaul completely screwed me over! To add further insult to all of this, when I got the truck I wanted to know how the rear door secured on the vehicle. The little brown man with the half beard demonstrated the latch and said "if you don't do it like this, this will be the worst move of your life." I told him it already was the worst move of my life. He snapped at me, "Hey, I'm telling you how to lock this door." Fuck him. I worked myself to exhaustion loading up an apartment full of property from a 3rd floor walkup and then had to lift it all into a truck because there was no ramp. Then I had to unload off the truck at my new home without a ramp. It was 20 hours over two days of miserable labor and I still wasn't able to finish it all because I ran out of room in the truck and energy from the extra lifting. I will never use Uhaul again. I am putting a review on Yelp. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. I am writing a letter of complaint to the manager, Grady Oliver, at 301 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. I nearly lost half of my furniture because of his store's incompetence in holding a reservation. Thank God that moving company was able to get movers to me within 48 hours of 3/25/22. I am furious as all hell at what I had to go through in my move when I put in a reservation for the right vehicle 2/23/22. Grady Oliver and his worthless staff screwed me over, broke me down physically and emotionally from the move and cost me over $600 to finish what I should have done myself with the right equipment I reserved. One of my friends who was to help me move Saturday 3/26/22 was unable to make it last minute. I still could have moved my furniture with that ramp and extra room. Fuck you, Uhaul. Fuck Grady Oliver. Fuck his staff. And especially fuck that little brown man with the half beard who told me "tires blow" and do what I say or "this will be the worst move of your life." You people made this the worst move I could image. It was a miserable three days of extreme stress, fatigue and it cost me nearly four times what I had calculated because I had to use movers. I'm so grateful for those movers, they saved my property that Uhaul nearly cost me. You people are horrible and disgusting, may God have mercy on your souls, for I wish torment on you all.

Vehicle was a little bumpier than I am use to in a uhaul. But could just be the terrible roads in colorado, and fountain. Over all will be using again . Felt like this location gives great customer service and just wants to be a great location. Small things , but customer service is number 1 and they did it.

I don't agree with having to call the emergency contact person for consent to call. I had to call them at the desk. It is unnecessary! Had they had to take my photo to "match" the photo on my drivers license. I was in a hurry but I would fix immediately, it's inappropriate.

The truck was dirty inside and out! When I rent a truck from u it is usually clean. I bring them back as I received them. It took an extra 10 minutes trying to upload pictures of the truck because it was dirty!!. If I was a thief I would have taken the 10 blankets that were in the back..I'm not!

Good experience. I was particularly impressed with the way one employee was training a new employee on how to do everything on the computer to assign my rental to me. Sadly, I didn't get his name, but he was at the front desk when I picked up at 8:30. He was knowledgeable and did a great job of instructing her on what to do. She also did a great job as well. It took a few extra minutes to get me Ready to go, but I didn't mind. It's nice to see people taking pride in their jobs!

Make sure the outside of the truck is clean so customers can make a proper inspection of the vehicle for dings, dents, etc. the inside of my truck was clean, but the outside was not.

A few months into my storage experience I was told I had to move my belongings from one uhaul storage to another because they had to repair/replace their firefighting sprinkler system. That was a big pain in the butt for me. Other than that, it was fine.

I had to knock off one star because of the lack of elevator at the facility. I was provided a 2nd floor unit but was not told that I needed to carry everything up a flight of stairs. If offered the option I would have taken a first floor unit. With that said everyone at this location was extremely friendly and helpful. For that I would recommend this location but I would make sure they requested a first floor unit.

The lady st the desk was rude when I got there to checkin to get my unit and then after return the trailer. The lady preceded to tell us that the person outside would help but there wasn't anyone outside that's why we'd went inside. Then we waited for over 20 minutes to hart our unit and tube person that finally helped us was very friendly and told me that the girl inside cant do the trailer returns but we told her we were there to check in for our unit and return the trailer.
