Automated on site reservations and checkin. There was a decent line and only 1 girl stuck running counter. I tried to then go online to create reservation for a small trailer. It told me zero trailers at Morse rd and suggested I drive to worthington. When I got to counter, she confirmed Morse rd site had plenty of trailers- which makes sense as it is the Columbus hub site. So could have cut her time to 2 m8n for checking only... if just i could have created the reservation online while I was standing there.JOHN B.

Busy place when returning the vehicle. I stood in line for 10 minutes, line did not move. Someone yelled out, is anyone is returning a truck. I got help, and then got checked out. I am not so good with the gas policy. You have to leave 1/2 tank. There was more than a half tank left, and was told, too bad. You never know how much you will use? If I left too little gas, I would be charged $4.95/gal. Does not seem right?THOMAS N.

The customer service a this location was excellent. The store was well stocked and the employees were knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately, after the truck was loaded and went on the Highway, any speed over 55 caused severe bounce and shake in the right front. The steering wheel was off center, the tire may not have been balanced right or it's out of round. This dragged my route out to 11 hours of slower speeds and insane bouncing. Video was taken. No other customer would have driven it. Unfortunately, it was already loaded and we were under time constraints. Back to the original question, the staff was great!JAMES S.

The staff that day was very friendly and efficient. Even though I had trouble with my trailer hook up, they were kind, courteous, and patient the entire time. It was also ridiculously cold that day and they still stayed positive and helpful. Thank you for the good experienceAMY W.
The process of renting, with the mobile option, is very time consuming. Taking all of the photos, for both pickup and drop off, along with the UHual app crashing intermittently during use, made things much slower than going to the desk and talking to someone. I'm not sure what could be done, but I think reducing on the length of time it takes to pickup and drop off, using the mobile option, would make the experience much better.ANDREW B.

Vehicle had nearly 100k miles on it and was in terrible condition. Wipers and washers didn't work. Seatbelt didn't retract, and overall condition was junk. Checkin staff was not professional, nor courteous, and most importantly did not explain charges at all. I had to guess when it was ok for me to leave?! the women that worked there had NASTY ATTITUDES, and i didnt appreciate that. i drove 15 hours and had to go to three uhaul places because i was misdirected. when i got there i was frustrated and tired and the lady got an attitude with me and was rude beyond belief and kept rolling her eyes. i have never experienced this EVER. i will not refer nobody to this location because these racist white ladies did not represent uhaul the right way and i cant wait to move to get my things out the storage id rather go to the parsons location.RUDY B. | First Impressions
The customer service was great. The uhaul truck itself was very poor for the amount of money being paid for it. It drove horribly, you can barely see using the mirrors due to the amount of shaking and vibrating of the truck. I know that trucks shake, but this one seemed a lot worse than normal. Long line to pick up truck. Took me almost an hour to get my truck. Get there early or if you can, pick it up the night before. Drop off was a piece of cake. Nice and easy.PETER C.
The facilities were in great condition, HOWEVER, I made a reservation a week in advance for a truck and storage unit for my mothers belongings, however when I got there and provided a reservation number the clerk told me she didn't show that and not sure why and how someone scheduled that unit because she can't find it! My mother has medical issues and this situation put me and her in a bad position. The clerk found a smaller unit (saying it was their only unit left) which put us in a different position as we couldn't store ALL of mom's belongings! I didn't have options as the movers were on the way so I had to accept and unfortunately, mom lost a couple of items because of this UHAUL SNAFU! The representative at the store was indifferent about assisting us. Our reservation was mishandled by the 800 customer service number. Initially we had reserved a 15' box truck, but then decided to go with a pickup and a trailer because of a better rate for mileage. When we arrived for pickup, the store representative told us we were late and our truck was gone, period. We were not late, and there was a miscommunication between the 800 number and the store location, but the representative would listen to none of it. In point of fact, it was the box truck that was gone, but our pickup truck and trailer was still there and available for us. The representative failed to look into this (because she refused to listen or ask any questions to try to solve the problem), but instead sent to another store location, where finally a nice person (Karen) figured out what had happened. We were sent back to the original store where our pickup truck and trailer had been waiting all along. It's not the mix up that I object to, but the rude and indifferent attitude shown to us by the representative at the Morse Rd. Store location.PHILIP G.

U-Haul sent me to some weird location called EdTech LLC to pick up my U-Haul using the self-service on my phone. When I got to that address there was not a U-Haul in sight. I finally saw a small U-Haul sticker on a window of some "Immigration Service" building. When I tried to put in "Pick up my truck" it told me my GPS was in the wrong location and then showed me this different location on Morse Rd. making me drive way further and waste a ton of time.Justin R.

This was my third time renting a cargo trailer at this location since September 3rd. (I also rented one in ELyria, OH during that period.) I did not inspect the inside of the trailer before leaving the facility. When I got to my loading location and opened the door, it was clear no one inspected the trailer before I picked it up. The floor was covered with a thin layer of dirt that looked like it was caused by muddy water that dried. There was a contractor's tool left in the trailer. On my prior three rentals, the trailers were clean on the inside.JOHN D.

Your service person the larger lady was rude. I asked to rent a dolly when I placed my order when I arrived I was told there were none available for rent which could have been communicated prior to pickup of rental truck so I could have gone to another uhaul also they charged for 3 gallons of gas and I filled the truck back up when I was done at the speedway right next to the uhaul and have proof also I noticed when I was leaving I seen thre dollys on the floor I asked about them and was told they were unrentable im not sure what that meant but this was the worst experience ever at uhaul I won't use this one againDELANYUL K.
The website allowed me to rent a 17' truck. When I arrived at this location, the clerk apologized and stated they were out of 17' trucks. She wasn't sure why it allowed me to reserve on online. I ended up being offered a 27' truck and took it. I appreciated her frustration with the website & agree that I should've been told there wasn't availability. Improve customer service. I walked into the store and was yelled at to put a face covering on and Uhaul should provide them if they're enforcing it. I understand having a second contact on your reservation but the fact they have to answer the phone is kind of ridiculous in order to be able to rent anything. I had to also put my cc info in multiple times throughout the reservation which didn't seem right.ZACHARY K.
Amazing customer service! This is THE best place to go if you need anything related to moving!! Boxes, hitches, plastic wrap for furniture and mattresses, tape, rope, sticky wrap on a roll (the best thing ever invented IMOâ€¦I was so relieved to find literally everything I need for moving and was very impressed at the variety. Thank you for being open past 5pm. And for the whole crew working because you take the stress out of moving and totally provided amazing services. the return was so easy. Drive thru! Replace Shannon, she was very harsh and rude, she lied to me saying there was a statewide mask mandate when there was not and you don't provide masks and then it was downhill from there, I told her there was a barrier there where I would be checking out but she was adamant, I never really felt like she was willing to work around this so finding a way around this would be my first suggestion or possibly doing business from the customers vehicle, my last suggestion would be to replace herDebra R.

I have been a loyal UHaul customer for many years but this experience left me extremely disappointed. From the initial call I was told there were no trailers in Columbus. I went online and found a trailer myself and reserved it. I then showed up to get it and was told they would not service me if I did not have a mask. Everyone behind the plexiglassed protected counter was wearing a mask so why the militant stand on a customer who didn't have a mask??? No other retailer in the area is treating people this way. They were rude and condescending, and very slow in hooking me up to a beat up and dirty trailer that frankly should have been removed from your fleet years ago. When I returned the trailer the two women who were supposed to be unhooking me stood in the lot and talked while I waited.
