The people that worked there were friendly and helpful! I was extremely unhappy with billing!!! I had to call the several times to get a problem solved!!! Your 24/7 virtual check-in doesn't work very well

Truck broke down, just cut off in the middle of 270. Your roadside assistance never picked up I was on hold for over 45 min, I had to get picked up and drive to the uhaul location, where the girl at the desk called roadside assistance and they still never picked up after being on hold.

Scheduled to return the truck at location closed on weekends and charged extra for me to self check in and extra because I was not prepared to jump through all the hoops os a self check in. There was a closer location that was actually open!!! Why would Uhaul set me up to fail. Just to steal my money?

I made a reservation to find out that the original location did not have trucks available that day. Had to scramble to find a truck there day before pick up. Was not happy about that. Plus, the drop off location was wrong. Huge difference between Petersburg, WV and Saint Petersburg, Fl.

We rented a tow dolly, the one fender that was pointed out to us(left side) had some damage but was useable however the right side fender once we got on the highway started bouncing around like crazy. We stopped at the first rest stop and checked it out. The fender was broken around the clamp on the back side allowing the fender to flap around free and pulling the lighting cables. I had some zip ties with us and tried my best to tie it down but had to stop constantly on our trip to try to keep it tied down. This trailer should of never been rented to us knowing we were leaving Ohio to drive across the country. Also once we dropped off the trailer the cords were showing on the right side tire.

Uhaul gave away my reservation without any notice which was extremely frustrating. I had checked in online the morning of my reservation and it was still given away without any warning. I will not be using Uhaul again. If a reservation is made it should not be canceled or given away without any notice or contacting the customer. People hire movers and schedule things for moves and without a reliable source of a truck the whole process is messed up. Bad customer experience and business model that is clearly designed for profit.

The truck itself was fine, but I was treated poorly and was given very questionable information regarding a free month of storage I was emailed about. I was told there was nothing they could do and that it didn't apply there, but some other location that I have no affiliation with and that the email I received said NOTHING about at all. Very disappointing overall.

I only rented a dolly but, I had issues with the website. I wanted to only rent a dolly and I BOUGHT one. And it wasn't clear at all and I was confused. Anyway, I went to pick it up and the person helping me totally fixed everything. Refund. Done. Rental. Done. Getting my card to work and having to call the credit line (or whatever it is).... she did it all. Don't know why my card wouldn't go through but she used all her abilities to work things out. Kudos.

The GM from this location charged an additional $50 to my invoice for gas; despite my numerous attempts to proactively address their error. The initial gas tank reporting was false and inaccurate the day I showed up to initially rent the truck. I told UHaul immediately before driving the truck of the lot; even documenting with pictures. I've literally tried 4 different ways/approaches to resolve this error PRIOR to receiving my inaccurate invoice/receipt via email today.

Had reserved the truck in Lewis Center, but was rescheduled by U-Haul to another pick up location that was 25 miles out of my way. U-haul did not nothing to reimburse my GAS. This includes gas for my personal vehicle to get to the pick up location. Expectation is that if I reserve in a specific pick up location the truck should be there.

I was told at the time of pick-up that an additional amount other than gas would not possibly be charged since it wasn't going to be another full day. I believe because this was a non-for-profit organization this UHAUL Location should have not charged my credit card $40.00 for additional time. It would be great if I received a refund on my card. Not enough employees, which could be due to the pandemic. BUT, I've used this location before the pandemic and the situation was the same. The van we received had a dent in the front driver side panel that made it hard to open and shut the door. The passenger door never really shut all the way. The damage to the van wasn't disclosed in the vehicle check from the U-Haul store. I had to document it myself.

Super staff, but a suoer long to wait to pick up. The staff are the stars at this location. They were patient, professional, and as efficient as their circumstances allowed. Shannon and CJ, especially, went the extra mile, which for a company that charges per mile for rentals is saying something! They were friendly, professional, polite, patient, and efficient. However, this location is severely understaffed. I showed up at 9:50 for a 10AM pickup and didn't leave the parking lot with my equipment until 10:48. The computer equipment was slow and froze or crashed a couple times during my checkout. Employees had to step away from the desk frequently to check on equipment status ("Do we have any furniture dolleys?"), and it took several minutes each time for them to log back into theur locked workstations to continue the sale. At peak hours (10AM on a Saturday) the work stations to check out were not fully staffed. Corporate (or the franchise owner, whichever it is) clearly doesn't care about either the customer experience or the efficiency of the business nearly as much as the location's employees do. Shame on them, and credit to the low-level employees who make it work at all. If the employees get a raise, and if a few more get hired, this loction might be a five-star organization someday.

The storage was smaller than I anticipated and had holes in ceiling. I secured the storage unit on-line. I wasn't sure of how to access the area and the instructions listed were not clear enough for me. I would have asked someone at the counter, but there were always several people in line to be waited on so I talked to employees outside and they were very helpful. My problems were with the fact that there were no instructions on-line to help me access the compound.
