I thought what I needed to do was entirely online. I did not anticipate needing to go Inside. But I had to twice. Once to get a key. Then again for the requested furniture dolly and furniture pads. Upon the second visit inside to ask for the furniture up ads and furniture dolly that were missing from my reserved truck, an employee told me to put on a mask which I did not have as I did not anticipate needing to go indoors. I asked for a mask and she said I had to provide my own. If you are going to require a mask you also need to have a supply of them available to give to customers at no charge. Or make sure the reservation notes that you won't have all my items on my reservation put together and it may require a trip inside. No one should be asked to put on a mask. It creates conflict, elevated blood pressure, increased heart rate, anger, and general dissatisfaction with the business that failed to provide all the necessary items requested in the first place.Robert P.
I am concerned about a scene I witnessed. I black family came into the store & an associate stood near them as they looked at boxes. She told them that if they damaged a box they had to pay for it. The family came in for a box for their TV so once they found the correct size they bought the box & left. Shortly thereafter a white man came in and spent about 15 minutes pulling every box out & examining them. No one said a word to him about damaging the boxes. No one watched him as he made his selection. I was not involved in either transaction but the optics looked pretty bad to me.Angela B.

It was overall a bad experience. The lady helping me left the keys on a trash can outside and when we went out to retrieve the vehicle the keys were gone. She just sat around and waited for someone else to do her job of finding the keys that she lost and I was waiting there for 15 minutes until finally someone else handled the situation. She just kept saying she didn't know what to do, and as the customer I felt uncomfortable with the group dynamic of the entire team at this location.ANDREA S.

Make sure that the equipment is working properly. The back door on the van could not be opened even after getting a technician he could not figure out how to get the door open so we had to wait on them to swap out and get us another van.Namone B.

Becky was a huge help, she checked me in, helped figure our the issues with the blinkers on the connection to the trailer. Also when I arrived to drop off she was moving a truck, saw me and stopped what she was doing and checked the trailer back in. She deserves a raise. You need more like her. get there info right on the computer. Had a call yesterday asking where the truck was. I told her it wasnt due back untill 9/19/2021. She kept insisting it was past due. Created a migraine and nervous wreck. We still had to go to Lancaster and unload. Other than that is was fine. We did not use the furniture pads that I rented. They were still in the bag. They were jerks when I returned the U-Haul. I followed the return instructions on the app but they were mad I didn't bring the truck to their return line. I told her I filled the app instructions. All I wanted to do was give them the key and they were not very friendly. The guy grabbed they key and screamed off in another truck driving like an idiot I guess to bring mine up front.Edward N.

While the service Uhaul offers is necessary and affordable, the human interaction is lacking. How excited I was that there was a 24/7 option that I could do most everything myself. When I hit a snag on returning and could not find the lock box to return the key. I had to go inside and was less than impressed with the gal I asked about what to do with the key. I don't appreciate being talked to like I was child that disobeyed instructions. Apparently I cannot use the online 24/7 return process when the store is open and was scolded for it. Having to walk back out to the truck get in and move it to the right spot and leave the key in....all contrary to what I understood on your website. I won't be using Uhaul again.Teri F.

The truck was in terrible condition and extremely difficult to drive - just old and beat up. The customer service however was terrific. Friendly and efficient. The whole process was very easy to do and so the renting was a good experience.Ted and S.

I did my reservation online and that was useless because I had to go in and do everything over again. The day before, I had a reservation and was told it wasn't in their system. I called corporate and they rescheduled it for me. (Initial rental at corner store outlet for van which wasn't there). I want to see if Uhaul gives me $50.00 for reservation guarantee that wasn't fulfilled.DONNA G.

Surprise $20 fee for returning the equipment overnight? I'm sorry I returned the dolly early so you could rent it out twice within 24 hours. Don't worry, won't rent from you again. After everything else you've messed up in the last month, like double charging for hitch installation then refusing to refund the charge for the work you didnt do while I had to drive an hour out of my way to find a location that would do the work they were paid to do. Already disputed the charge with my credit card, but soooooo done working with u-haul. Incompetent and dishonest, that's what I'll be advising people when it comes to u-haul.JONATHAN H.

The U-Haul trail had low tire pressure that I had to point out when picking up. Also, after picking up the trailer, I noticed the trailer door was not connected to the spring which did not allow the door to stay open, which was a major inconvenience!GERALD T.

We sent our truck back 3 hrs after return time and we were charged for a full day and automatically applied insurance and mileage. They amount agreed on was not what was really then out of our account. They will find all ways to rip you off. Stay away from this location. Uhaul on morse road. The workers there really hustled! Seems like a customer or 2 can bog that down, but these gals kept right on. The cargo van was great. I'm always a little nervous to rent, because of the horror stories about breaking down, no brakes, etc. This time (and my one and only time before) was perfect. Years ago I swore I would never use U-Haul again but stupidly I decided to try and it was a miserable experience from start to finish. Not to mention this location appears to be gouging customers by charging exorbitant rates due to volume. I spoke to several people over the weekend and mentioned U-Haul and as soon as I did they all had bad experiences to share. You will never get another dime from me.JEFFREY C.

I returned the truck after hours, so no interaction with the staff. I was a little confused about where exactly to leave the truck, so I just picked a spot and left it there hoping it would be ok. There was a sign instructing me where to drop the key, so that was very helpful.Philip S.

All the lot guys were very helpful! My truck had a bad fuse and they found it and replaced it so all the lights would work on the car hauler trailer! The storage was smaller than I anticipated and had holes in ceiling. I secured the storage unit on-line. I wasn't sure of how to access the area and the instructions listed were not clear enough for me. I would have asked someone at the counter, but there were always several people in line to be waited on so I talked to employees outside and they were very helpful.
