There were just so many issues with the app for trying to drop it off after hours. It was very glitchy, and made it very difficult to actually turn in the equipment. Overall the staff was so helpful at this location when we had to pick up the truck. They were great help!

I have rented vans from this location twice recently. Both experiences have been wonderful from check out to check in. Everyone I talked to was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be back the next time I need to rent a vehicle.

This location is hard to access and there's nowhere to park.there's very limited space where you can load and unload your belongings. The staff was okay however not the most friendliest place.

On return of vehicle, I personally fuel up truck to 3/4 tank exactly, the same as I rented it. The fuel needle was on 3/4 exactly and the uhaul employee marked it less than 3/4. Now I take that personally as if the employee didn't like me. So, why would he do that? Is he incompetent in his work or is that how Uhaul rip off customers.

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was told that my reservation had been canceled. According to the employee there this happens all the time. He also told me I needed to call the reservation line to have my reservation reactivated. After several minutes trying to get ahold of a human I was told that they don't do that and the employee in the store just had to start a new reservation for me. When I told him she said this he said, "yeah, that's right." SO WHY DID HE TELL ME TO CALL??? Also, assistant I lucked or that the location I reserved to had the size truck I reserved. I was also told that choosing a location means nothing and that it isn't uncommon to have to travel to another location the pick up the rental. The whole prices is rediculous.

The counter lady charged me for an extra day when I didn’t need it I knew what day my reservation was done but she made me get an extra day which cost me an extra 20.00 so I’m not happy with her. But the lot attendant was excellent. He Hooked up my trailer and Was very informative about the equipment .

Was very upset with this rental! I booked the trailer weeks in advance and the day before my rental date I get a text that Ft Collins did not have the trailer I rented and booked me at Loveland location which was 20 miles away. Then later that day when we were traveling from New Mexico to Colorado I get a call That Loveland location does not have a trailer for me. I am really upset and they tell me they have a truck I can rent. I tell them no I don’t want to pay $550 and gas and no one to drive the vehicle. They then locate me a trailer in Denver which is over an hour away. I have no choice but o take it. No one seems to really care! No offer to discount the trailer for my troubles! Everyone passing the buck!!! Horrible service experience!! !!!

I however would NOT recommend using the app to Self Check in. I felt the app didn’t advise that you had to ha two separate references of which they both had to be accessible and answer the phone before the rental could be used. I was using a company CC for company business and I felt like a criminal having to have a background check done to rent a van. I rented Many Many times and not had to jump through all these hoops. I won’t be recommending this service to anyone.

Tried the online after hours return, my location could not be picked up and was unable to complete the return. Since I had an early flight, I asked my son to turn in the vehicle during normal hours. The associate at this facility was rude towards my son only insisting that the keys should have been left in the drop box. My son tried to explain that the online return service was not functioning and that he wanted to make sure the return was done properly, but this associate only wanted to hear his point of view. My son believes his name is Tony. He did not bother to inspect the vehicle, nor provide my son with any paperwork for the return. I sincerely hope to see some type of documentation will be forwarded to me indicating the return of this vehicle. Perhaps this associate needs a customer relations class.

Honestly, U-Haul has a great storage facility. BUT they are almost three times more expensive than other storage facilities that offer the same amenities. That's the only reason I don't recommend them

You need to start telling people about the one way rental cost... I will never use uhaul again because they did not disclose this as we were renting the vehicle even though we mentioned going back and returning to Glenwood Springs. What a way to trick people into paying almost $1000 for a stupid box truck. If I knew it would’ve cost that much I would have gone with a different service. Absolutely disgusted by your business practice and until this is resolved I will highly recommend people stay AWAY from uhaul and their disrespectful practices.

I REALLY disliked renting a truck that had less than a quarter tank of gas left. And it is VERY difficult to match the amount of gas in the vehicle at the time of rental when it's not full. It's not very customer friendly. I'm not sure why the requirement isn't to rent the vehicle full of gas and return the vehicle full of gas. It only seems to benefit U-Haul and not the customer.

The folks who rented me the truck were awesome, as were the guys who helped with the actual equipment rental. However, I had an issue when I dropped off in that I called for an Uber which did not arrive and then my phone died. When I went inside for help the people working could not have been less interested (2:30 pm, Mile High Station 12/4/19). It would not have mattered to them if I had to walk home. I had to walk them through how to help a trapped person with no phone (i.e., call a cab). There was absolutely no interest in customer service at all. It is a total shame because I had two GREAT experiences renting from you - but I will say that it would be hard to recommend you because if there is any problem at all I am not confident that this crew cares at all about customers and trying to help.

There was a few mishaps, but the personal was very polite, a bit slow but it was made up, by extra time with the truck, AND THEN I GOT MY WHOLE DEPOSIT BACK, WHICH MADE ME VERY HAPPY!! ?? GOOD WORK GUYS

I have no idea why you required (a) me to come up with a secondary contact and (b) yourselves to verify the contact, but that policy alone is enough to turn me off this location in the future. Then, when I explained my frustration to the front desk clerk in a strident but not inappropriate tone, the first thing he said was the equivalent of, "Watch your tone." Wtf?! I'm just sorry I didn't pay attention to the Yelp reviews beforehand.

I had reserved a truck at the Lipan location in Denver weeks in advance. When I arrived I was informed that the only way to get the truck was to download the ap and do it all on my phone, which I did. I tried the process seven times over 45 minutes in the location and it never worked. I then had to call a ride to come pick me up and take me to another location to do the process manually. Everything went well there, but the process before was horrible. Do not force people to use an ap that does not work and then have no one there to do it manually.

I was charged for the dolly and furniture roller, and i didn’t get/use those— I was told they were in the back of the truck, but they weren’t- I would like my money back for those items

The employees in the truck storage lot were sitting in the backs of the box trucks smoking cigarettes, then when we came to pick up they said their parking was full and to park in front of the main building. When I parked in front of the main building, an incredibly rude employee came out telling me not to park there and to park back in the lot we came from. When I went back to that lot, another employee told me to go back to the main building to park. Clearly no one knows what the hell was going on at this location. Keeping in mind I was just trying to pick up - not even trying to leave my car there - my friend ended up parking about 300 yds away and walking over to check out the vehicle. When I got in the truck, the visor fell off as I closed the door and I was told that was normal for their trucks by an employee who was laughing. Then when I couldn’t start it the employee laughed and came over acting like it was normal that “you have to shake the wheel to get it going and jiggle the key”. He said to try it a few times for about a minute or two and eventually it’ll turn on. The check engine light was also on which he said was the case of every truck. Your either ignorant or aggressive employees made renting a truck the most frustrating experience of moving that day. The only employee who showed any respect for their job was the cashier inside who sold me a mattress cover. He was great.

The only good thing about this location was the checkout guy in the yard. Front desk staff are surely and rude - particularly little girl; truck was beat to death; damage app where you are supposed to upload pics of their damage prior to departure was coincidentally set up to not upload pics; they want to charge extra if you drop off after 700 pm instead of dropping the key like everywhere else; gas was empty at pickup - customer was supposed to try and make it to a gas station before stalling out; lied to customer about customer’s insurance applicability (I have high level State Farm which covers in the event of an accident and a business cannot refuse to accept state approved insurance coverage; not necessary here but a company lie). All over rude, poor service which explained a yard full of trucks on a Saturday at the end of the month.

The contract said that the tank was 5/8th full, but when I got in the vehicle is was 3/8th full. This is fraud and I will be taking this to social media unless this is promptly corrected.

Ed provided incredibly helpful assistance with an electrical connection gremlin in our truck's trailer wiring package. He was pleasant, gracious and competent. Unfortunately, the yard man that hooked up the auto transport to our truck was unpleasant and oppositional in all regards (didn't get his name). I spoke harshly to him at one point, and apologized. He was pleasant for a time but became dismissive when I discovered a non-working trailer turn signal after he said he had completed the work of connecting the transport - luckily, Ed stepped in and solved the issue.

Truck was pulled around by business associate while he was smoking a cigarette (in the truck). It was not pleasant getting into the truck with the smell of smoke in addition to having to talk with the man while he continued to smoke. Not professional or clean.

I had to go to 3 different locations to receive the trailer that I rented. I was never notified ahead of time that inventory wasn’t available and wasted time running around the city. Then, while I was told something different by a manager, I wasn’t able to drop off the trailer at a location closer to my house, but instead had to drive back down to where I finally was directed because my price would more than double to do a “out of town one way” even though the desired location was still in Denver. Very poor service by Sam (was a total dick to me and very unprofessional) and very poor service by Uhaul in general.

Gentlemen at this location were speedy and professional. After dropping off uhaul with attached auto tow 2 days early before my drop off date I was under the impression that I would be credited back the unused days per my contract. I was allotted 6 days of use and only used it for 4 days.

My reservation for 9:00am was a joke because that location wasn’t open til 11:00 am. So the UHaul guy down the block found me another truck on lower Colfax. After picking the truck up and driving to load the boxes, I could not exit the drivers door-it was stuck and I had to climb over to the passenger side to exit the van. I am supposed to get a discount because the pickup was so messed but I want more than that for having to crawl across the cab to exit on the passenger side.

The gentleman inside at the counter was exceptionally friendly and professional but my experience made an abrupt 180 degree turn when I encountered the employee in the lot across the street. I never did catch a name but a brash man he was. Honestly my experience was split 50/50. What to do in order to improve for the next customer? Perhaps something as little as a smile or thank you can go a long way. My wife and I rolled out of there feeling as if we were a nuisance to this guy for renting from this location. Self-service may have been a better option in connecting the trailer.
