The guy receiving the truck was nice but let us know they never have trucks available because people turn them in late all the time. 5-6 people were in line inside with the clerk barking loudly to a customer over the speakerphone- NO CUSTOMER PRIVACY! The customer care associate we picked up the rental from 5/29, was polite and friendly. She never lost her composure even though there was numerous people in the store. The same can not said about the associate who there for the return. She was rude and snappy at customers in store and on the phone. The two do not mix. Uhaul needs a mega facility with about 200 to 300 trucks available & more of the smaller truck. A discount can be given from time to time, when uhaul doesn't have what you need.TAMEKA M.

U Haul never called to make me aware the location (Southaven, MS) -- and was directed to Mendenhall location in Memphis.... I was scheduled to pick up at 7:30 am and did not get my trailer and on the road until 10 am .... I would like to stress this statement: There was no apology from the staff at Southaven or Mendenhall on the day of pick up or on the day of return. I booked a uhaul for 12PM in Bartlett. When I showed up, they didn't have one. I showed them the confirmation email with the correct address and time, and they said they didn't have me in the system. I was on hold with uhaul for an hour and a half. They told me they could get me a uhaul for the following day, and I said I need one today. They called me back around 3PM and said they had a uhaul ready today. I went to pick it up but they didn't have the size they said that they did or the size below it so I had to get a 10' uhaul which didn't fit all of my belongings. When I rented the truck the lady at the counter couldn't take her AirPods out to hear what customers had to say. The answer service reserved the wrong size truck. The manager at this location made excuses for the mistake. The lady that I returned the truck to was very nice as well as helpful. This is her daughter not her. I was held up from my move for almost an hour while the person serving me seemed to not know what she was doing, took another customer in the middle of my rental, without asking me, then proceeded to take her time with him, including debating a rate increase. On I was finally sent to the unit, it was not as explained on the phone, there was no help in locating the unit, in fact I was given the wrong information, My driver was costing me extra money because of the insanely long delay. After realizing that the building I was sent to did not even house the unit I had rented, I gave up, went back to the office and cancelled the entire rental. By far the worst rental experience ever! I manage a Storage Facility, this was a disgraceful exhibition of Storage Rental. It ended up costing me almost $100 in additional expenses and I ran out of daylight.
