The young fella that helpful me was very very helpful and pleasant and gave outstanding customer service and very tentative to my needs answered all my questions and assisted me every step of the way very patient and he was very busy with people but did not rush me along I would really like him to be recognized for his exceptional work!!!!! When I ordered my Uhaul back in July the woman I was dealing with had headphones in and was literally talking to her what sounded like ex-boyfriend/husband about how he needed to pay her for her child. During this call she literally said “you really think I like working at uhaul?” in front of me. She was on the phone the entire time while booking the truck. I booked the truck on July 17th. I asked her MULTIPLE times if I would have the truck for 24 hours, to which she said yes. I got a text confirmation that day that said I had the truck from 4PM on 8/31 to 4PM on 9/1. Two minutes later I got a text that said “your reservation is from 8/31/19 at 4PM to 7/18/19 at 7PM,” however I didn’t notice this, probably because I was distracted by the woman talking on the phone. I then checked my reservation on 8/28, and it said I could only have the truck for 8 hours beginning 8/31 because it’s an extremely busy moving weekend, even though the woman told me multiple times I could have the truck for 24 hours. After 2 hours on the phone with customer service (the phone operating system was awful, multiple dropped calls, multiple transfers back and forth between the same departments, although the agents were extremely polite, especially Terri), they extended the rental to 9AM. Because of this I had to get up at 6 AM and leave all of my stuff on the sidewalk until I could move in at noon. When I was picking up the truck I saw the woman who had originally booked my truck and a guy in the back of the parking lot in her car smoking something, while another uhaul employee stood there laughing with them. The entire experience was awful. I will note that Arthur from New Britain, who was filling in because of the busy weekend, was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. He took pride in his job, while it seemed that no one who was full time at the location in Lynn took any pride in theirs.

I am extremely frustrated by the lack of communication from this site on the Lynnway in Lynn, Massachusetts. We rented a 15' truck for a 24 hour period but returned it the same day. We drove 23.5 miles in the truck and put three gallons of gas in it before drop off. The site charged us for an additional 3.5 gallons of gas. I have reached out by both email and telephone multiple times and cannot get anybody to respond. To say that I am beyond frustrated is an understatement. I will NEVER rent from this location again, but trust me, I will be showing up in person to get it resolved. I wish I could charge THEM for my time fighting to get refunded for something that I never should have been charged for. No way does 23.5 miles require over 6 gallons of gas.

I waited over 20 minutes to get approved online, so the person at the front desk had to manually enter my account to finish the process. It was 45 minutes before I was able to leave. On moving day, this is ridiculous. But the woman at the front desk was very nice.

Worst experience !!! Staff very unprofessional, manager Eric acted like he knew what he was doing, he definitely doesn't know. All his recommendations wrong!!! Booked a rental weeks in advance, got there rental wasn't there, had to wait. Manager put wrong size hitch and ball on my car so the trailer clunked so loud with and without a load in it. sounded like my car was going to fall apart. When I booked the trailer I was told they have all hitches needed and they would put the right one on, which I paid for. They gave me a 2" instead of a 2 1/4" hitch I found out later is what should have been on my car. When I returned the rental the same day after one load, Eric admitted it was the wrong hitch, said we used the hitch and refused to give us a refund for the hitch or exchange for the right size. I was expecting to be dealing with uhaul professionals as I have in the past at my local Uhaul rental. Uhaul at Lynnway in Lynn MA I got far from professionalism. Oh the hour I was there they messed up two other customers bookings and basically told them they were out of luck. Three mess ups within an hour …..Stay away from this place if you want to keep your sanity.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience today with an arrogant employee of your company in Lynnway, MA. Even if everything went well with the renting of the 9' van and the moving was perfect with no issue at all, this employee decided to charge us $150 for a small scratch in the back door (0.07 inches) that we NEVER DID during the 4 hours of the rent. First of all, when we took the van they never ask us to do a tour to check the existing damages. Then, when I arrived to bring back the van, 2 guys of your company in black shirts went in the back of the van to-do something while I was speaking to the employee who was finalizing the bill. When he showed me the scratch and told me "Don't worry you will be charged for that, you have no choice but you to the basic insurance so you should be happy" while I never had the time to speak. Finally, when I explained that everything went well during the trip, that we were always beside the van and we never did that, he laughed at me and told me that I didn't believe me. I'm very disappointed and we block the payment of the $200 they charged us ($50 for the rent + 150$ for this damage) because we are clean, we can look at ourselves in the mirror because we are HONEST and if we do something we take responsibility. Of course, we will contact your customer service and hopefully, we will fix the bad experience we just lived today and pay what we really have to pay. I don't think your employees need to be dishonest if you want to keep the good reputation of your company that we trust.

I had to wait for 30 mins to pick up the vehicle which is way poor customer service . They didn’t find the key or they have to change the vehicle last minute without any documentation. I wish I could have wait but I was already running late. The last they charge me for extra fuel even though fuel tank was more than 1/4. I think they try to door customers whichever way possible.

Have the truck ready, specially went the reservation was make with plenty of time a head. And don't be so rude and dismissive, telling your customer to cancel the service, because the only option they have is to travel 40 miles away to a different location.

I was given a lot of misinformation; mainly I was told that there's no such rental that includes miles, and that I had to pay $1.35 per mile! I then called the Holyoke UHaul, where I was moving things FROM (to Boston area), and the helpful employees set me up with the 10' truck that included 118 miles.

Do not waste your time or money. There are a lot of better places and the other places give you a free month. Do no go here. Save yourself from a civil lawsuit.

The upper locker spaces were difficult to use. That being said, loading was super convenient and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will continue to use this place for future rentals

The storage unit was okay. But the back wall was broken by the adjacent unit's stuff. It was not filthy. The unit itself had no lighting. It was hard to see in. Frustrated to have to buy a new lock.

I cancelled both the storage and the truck rental on September 6, 2018 so ended up not using uhaul services. We did not move. All contact with Lynnway uhaul services was vey professional.

People at the facility were very helpful. The storage area was clean and very adequate.
