There were mice and roaches at this facility. When I spoke with the manager and showed how the mice chewed through my furniture pads he said you have insurance, just file a claim. Gave me some mouse poison and said you are the only one that complained. This piece of furniture couldn't have been replaced. I wanted to remove my furniture but thought I'd input it somewhere else and it was damages they could say it didn't happen at the UHaul facility.Monique N. | Overall Experience

Having fuel more than 18miles until E then telling me to bring it back above a quarter tank. Fuel cap was also broken so I had to use pliers just to fuel. Customer help from desk wasn't serious or seemed to think of me as an annoyance when I asked him why there wasn't enough fuel.michael D.

Uhaul was clean on inside of truck and box. The engine light was on and power steering was iffy. We were not charged the extra day rental due to bad weather but was charged for the extra mileage it took to reroute us around flood waters to return it to the facility.Kimberly W.

the scheduled pick up location was changed after 5pm the night before... at 7am with loading crew waiting on the clock I had to drive into a very dangerous neighborhood 30 min during rush hour and back north 55min for total of hour and half delay ... and $125 in labor fees for loading crew.Peter H.

The guy at the front desk was very rude. He had me waiting outside in the hot sun because he wanted to take his sweet time to come from the back to help. I filled ou5 all my paperwork ahead of time so the process would be quick but it still Was delayed. On top of that he had an attitude with me because he had to do his job. Have gas in the truck. The truck was on Empty I had to put 60.00 dollars for gas as I got in the truck. They said it said 1/16 but it was not.CEDRIC W.
Check the truck for equipment that was NOT requested or asked for so after rental drop off you won't have to continue fight a charge for equipment that was not asked for or taken. Also check the engine lights cause the truck I had was barley pushing. And I am now being charged $50 for a dolly I didn't request nor did I use or take, was told the manager would look at the footage and never got a call back. So what could've been a good experience got me not wanting to come back to use my go to company again.Alexus D.

Check equipment. I was given a trailer whose connections to the trailer for lights was smashed and unable to be connected. I drove a whole day with faulty equipment and no lights risking getting pulled over and ticketed. Was hoping manager would be more welcoming/friendly.Edgar C.

The AC in the truck would cut off once I started driving, mind you it's Texas so very hot. And also the truck had a hard time getting up and going. But the young lady who helped me in the am was very sweet, attentive and awesome customer service. She new her job excellent. The young man you attended me once I brought the truck back was also awesome. Very attentive and helped me right away. I would definitely come back to this location and recommend as well.. â˜ºï¸rachel S.
We arrived after dark to drop off the truck. I had to essentially guess where to park due to poor signage. The biggest area in need of significant improvement is the key drop. At this location the key drop is a hole in the office door that is very difficult to see from more than 5ft away if one has not seen it before. The biggest problem is that the Uhaul website shows a picture of an orange box to place keys in which is not at all what this location offered for key drop.Will B.

I was charged one month for arriving on the last day of my contract to move out. That was $129 that I didn't have moving from out of state. I was already overcharged for the auto transport at the facility in Janesville, il and only refunded $60 when I was over charged over $120. Horrible experience. My storage unit had a huge hole on it and u could see outside without trying to. There was a huge rat trap and I could hear rat squealing while trying to move out and I'm TERRIFIED of Mice. Never again. I'd appreciate a refund for that last month. I didn't expect to pay and couldn't pay until a few days later so was charged a $15 late fee. I paid $150 and didn't think I should have because I arrived from out of state to move out but the guy said I was one day late and it was nothing he could do. Briana Parra (@Jim Miller) location was very helpful in making sure all my meds were to my satisfaction. To me she went above and beyond her duties by keeping calm, eventhough I was Stressing from not accessing the storage on Buckner because they are by appointment only; which I wasn't aware of.
