The ramp is faulty, it pulls out, but I couldn't lift it into the slots because it was misaligned. Also, the turn signals were inoperative so, I had a difficult time switching lanes because other drivers had no idea that I was trying to get over. I called Uhaul to report the issues and asked would a discount be applied to my account and was told no. This is the second time that I rented a faulty truck from this location and will not return because they obvious dont take care of their trucks.Monee L.

Make sure the charging ports work in the trucks. It would also be great if the authorized dealers all had after hours drop off. I went to drop off at one location and had to call the 800 number and wait twenty minutes for a call back and we had to change locations and I got charged for the additional mileage.Cortney N.

I was in truck 2375 and the a/C kept going in and out working and it was very hot outside. I came back and let the staff know what was going on with the a/C and there was no concern about the customer experience. They told me that they will close out my ticket and send it to me by email. reserved utillity dolly, not there when i picked up truck, equipment was not ready nor hooked up, front right tie down strap for vehicle unservicable had to buy new come along to strap down front right tire...second vehichle i rented in a weeks spann....first vehiche had to replace TWO right rear tires.....and engine light came on after 90 miles into 1000 + trip.......spent total of $2754, on two trip rental.... First, when leaving phone messages, try not to speak as though the customer is at fault, until the circumstances are fully understood: I did fail to leave the key to the truck. On a three day contract, I turned the truck in the same day. I arrived after hours. I did not see the dropbox; it was to high, and the location of the dropbox was not well lit. So, I opted to drop off the keys the next. When I arrive to drop off the keys the next morning, I was told I owed a balance, because the truck was not filled with gas! I called Randy at the Odessa -Main location, and he confirmed it was not full when he gave it to me. He stated they should know that. Employee slow getting to me to hook up the trailer and complained the whole time about other employees. Prices are also to high.MARK F.
First: The installer Chris tells me the installation is 3-4 hours. He does not like to give eta because he must be really careful. But the car was ready or so I though in 60 minutes. Second: I also rented I dolly and when we went to install it I notice that my exhaust was hanging lower than normal. He forgot to reinstall one of the hangers. But he fixed after telling him. Third: When installing the dolly we had no lights. He forgot to install the fuse. He installed it after his coworker told him about the issues with the lights. Four: After crawling under my car to replace the cable. I see that the driver panel was removed and not placed back. When I go to tell them. They all told me that was a throw away item, that it could not be installed back, and that they have already throw it in "THE DUMPSTER" so I told them to go get me my panel back and they did. When I told them that the installation manual in your website explain to put it back, they just say "ok, well we always throw away that panel" I told them at least you should ask if your customer wants his/her panel back, and they just have that "whatever" attitude. AT this point I really did not want these guys to touch my car any more and left. I do have the panel back but I am missing the screws to put it back. The service at this place is terrible and they simply do not care.Gesner U.

My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokeee with 27k miles worked perfectly when I dropped it off, but I was unable to even leave the parking lot when I arrived to pick it up. No one contacted when when the trailer hitch installation was completed. My keys were left inside the vehicle unsecured in the parking lot.James G.
Make sure your clerks do not rush thru their explanations of the customer's contract. Make sure they understand each section. Do not proceed until they do understand. The staff at this location couldn't care less about being helpful or informative. Very lazy and unhelpful when I experienced trouble with the uhaul app to verify conditions of rental. The van riding position was uncomfortable. I am 5'8 and found that the seat was too high. And more importantly, it was not adjustable. While I will say the staff did their best to accommodate us so we can get the requested storage size, when we got there the size was not available. We were told that it was first come serve basis. We agree to take whatever that was available. However, as we started unloading staff, it was disappointing that the supervisor on the shift was orchestrating a scheme to steal clients's items. They stated they thought the items were left behind, meanwhile we saw one lady who was not in uhaul uniform opening clients boxes and bags, and then the supervisor allowed her to pack in her car. Had trouble with u-haul charges . I had a reservation for around 435 dollars are around that. When I went to pick it up the man that was there said I had no reservation and he added 300 dollars more. After fighting with him he gave me 100 dollars cash and told me that the company will reimburse the other 200 and all I got was 90 dollars. The worst experience I've ever had to encounter for an organization this big. They start off by charging my card over $500 withhout calling or letting me know after only having the truck for three days. They gave me a truck with a gas leak. I wouldn't take that truck they gave me a truck with roaches. They did not refund the deposit for the first truck or the second truck added a deposit for the third truck which was the original truck with a gas leak. You heard that right they gave me back the original truck with the gas leak then charge me a third deposit. This all started on Wednesday. We did not take actual possession I will truck fully till Thursday the 12th. Saturday of that same week they charged my card an additional $500. We were in constant contact with Uhaul customer service and location letting them know because of our work schedule mixup with bad trucks we need extensions on the time. We also let them know that the truck was full of our belongings that we could not unload the truck since they gave us the wrong storage not the largest one that we asked for. Once we got the larger storage on the 14th we unload the first load. Where we got back to unload the second load we saw we had no storage lights. So we park the truck again in the Home Depot parking lot on 360 a couple miles away.We had the truck for seven days when we should've only had it for two Well because of all the mess ups no lights in our storage we had her for seven days. The location of my storage told corporate office that we had the ruck for two weeks not seven days. So I was not getting any refund for the Over $500 I have been charged. The high charge I was told was also an estimation of the miles I had driven. The truck was probably driven 30 miles the whole time we had the truck at $.99 a mile. Storage issue: I had a storage that you could drive a U-Haul truck into. I begs for lights so I could do what I need to do from November up until March when I was asked to leave. I was asked to leave because the manager cut off my lock on March 11 illegally cut off my lock by cutting into their housing for my lock Leaving sharp metal where I cut my fingers several times. I was never informed a reason why until I got there and the reason why was a look at the lightbulb problem. Resolution: I was told by upper management since they couldn't satisfy my needs I had to be out in less than 48 hours or everything I had in my storage would belong to them. Believe it or not there's more to the story of my treatment at this location being laughed at when they thought that I might have Covid 13 and the list goes on and on of how I was miss treated. This location changed my life are the worst in many ways and Mark the manager still has his job. As for me I'm still trying to financially recover from the mess Uhaul has caused me. Turning my life upside down and inside out. Please be aware of the 360 and I 20 location do not rent trucks from there do not ring storage is from there as long as Mark is the manager of that location. I gave a below average only because of the customer service personal. She acted like I was supposed to know what she is talking about. For example, she asked for my renter's insurance, I said I will have to bring it back. At the end of the transaction, I looked at her asking, "how do I get to my storage unit?"
