Currently waiting to hear back from the North Auburn location (in Washington state) as my ubox was not shipped on time. The requested date was never submitted and my box was shipped nearly 2 weeks late, leaving me without belongings for several days. Unacceptable.Jaimie L.
Floor of cargo area was covered in oil. Had to deep clean on my personal time to prevent damaging household goods. Online check-in, and return truck system is flawed, sometimes I'm charged for things that were irrelevant and incorrect to my rental period and find myself paying cleaning fees or gas fees when I return the trucks clean and with higher gas levels than when I rented it. Most of the time the online return truck freezes up and accurate return info is lost then it doesn't work.John C.

The truck I rented had a few small damages that weren't marked. It took a little more time for me to upload and dispute the pictures. I also was charged an extra day and extra fuel. I think your new staff needs to be more thorough in checking paperwork. I had to personally go in the following day to have the issue resolved. Thanks to Mr. Halbert Dakota.Luis G.
I booked a week ahead of my planned moving date. I was assigned a 26ft truck that was in unacceptable condition. The fuel was below a 1/4 tank. Which means I had to add a stop at the gas station prior to starting to move. That's obviously not something any customer should do especially with a truck that large. All windows were dirty making it difficult to see out. The inside of the back of the truck needed a full decontamination from seeping oil from the previous rental. The oil was not noticeable at first glance; it just looked like a dirty well-used truck. I let them know I took pictures and video in case any manager cared to see them. I'm debating on posting them. The truck had so much oil in the box that it dripped onto my rental property and new home driveway.Larry P.

They refused to provide the truck we rented online. They said they do not do multiple day rentals on vans which is what we had reserved ("reservation guaranteed" per site). They also refused to give us the advertised credit for not providing us with our correct rental. We were forced to accept a substitute because we did not have time to make alternate arrangements. Something needs to be done either with the site or at this location to let people know that they are incapable of providing the advertised, reserved services prior to their scheduled pick up time. Are reservations just something to make customers feel good but have no actual meaning?JEFFREY H.

My reservation was changed twice but the overall experience was really good. Selina called me the morning before and explained things very professionally. She was very courteous and actually got me better rates than my original reservation. I've used UHaul many times over the years and the customer service has greatly improved!Timothy C.
The cabin of the uhaul smelled like marijuana. The employees were driving/moving the uhaul moving trucks to different lots at excessive speeds. One employee almost hit my partner. The 24/7 drop off keys were not in the lock box provided. Had to go into the store and wait in line for over 20 minutes. The log in/verification process of the 24/7 pick up took over 15 minutes as well. Unprofessional environment and employees. I'll gladly pay a little extra for a different location or look for a different moving provider next time I need these types of services.Rachel R.

My one way truck reservation was not secured. I was at the pick spot and the reservation had been altered without my notification. I had movers and no truck to move. I was not told of the possibility that I could have a problem getting equipment. I was told I could go to Tucson to get a truck. That was too far. I am Highly disappointed with Uhaul. We were told at the desk that we had access to the unit until 10pm. We arrived at 630 and were told by the new office manager that she was locking access at 7pm. We had to unload a 15 foot truck and then we barely had 10 mins to use the elevator because we were on the third floor. She allowed us to stay and finish. But the bay doors were locked. Our uhaul experience was horrible and run around. We had reservations that couldn't be found and because of that we were delayed on our time with our rented truck which made us pay extra charges. The tires tot he uhaul had a lump which could have caused us an accident. Overall the experience was horrible and frustrating! I made a reservation online for 10:30am pickup. Upon arrival, several minutes went by before I was acknowledged by an employee. A few minutes later, the 10'truck I secured online, no one could find the keys. After a few minutes I was given an upgrade to a 15' truck. Unfortunately, the appliance dolly I had rented online was not available. Without that dolly, it was impossible for me to finish what I had planned for the day. So hooray for the upgrade but without the dolly it didn't matter. So thanks for nothing U-Haul. I will be going elsewhere for my truck rentalsDavid S.

The 15' truck I rented had an issue with the left side mirror. I'm not sure if it was the previous renter but the left side mirror was not locked into place and kept swinging left and right when I broke or accelerated. This sight changed the hours to get in your storage without notice, from until midnight and after 5a.m. to only during business hours, which means I had to pay for another month's worth of storage and pay for 2 weeks of a rental apartment, which I couldn't move into, due to the hours change. I work 5-6 days a week... could not prorate my months of rent for my unit. -If the office was closed, I couldn't use the automatic doors in the storage facility which was inconvenient. -The staff was helpful and friendly moving in, but not moving out. I could never get a hold of anyone on the phone and had to go there in person after submitting an online move out request just to be told it had already been approved, and I had to ask for an email confirmation. This is the most sickening storage unit And terrible experience. The place smelt like mildew and poop and the "climate controlled" space was at 80°. I am fearful of my belongings smelling and my furniture getting wrecked by the smell. There were homeless people living in the storage units, I am requesting that my uhual experience including my uhual that I used to carry my items be refunded. I will take legal action on behalf of this if I am not credited my refund and promised that the units be cleaned and prevented from homeless people living in the units, as it is illegal to do so.josh B. | First Impressions

When I went in there to tell them that I needed to close my reservation there's only one person handling setting up trucks and trailers and dealing with the front in the store and I was waiting 45 minutes. Another time it seems like when I returned my truck one of the gentleman that helped me up told me that he hated his boss and the U-Haul is a terrible place to work, so I think maybe they should probably get new management or someone to help out that store because it seems like they really need it.eleonor g. | Overall Experience

Prior to making a reservation for my 10x15 rental, I first came to U-Haul at I-17 and McDowell to purchase a number of boxes for my move. I was ably assisted by Alfonso, who I assumed was management due to his knowledge of his product and his professional demeanor. On a return visit to make a storage unit reservation, I was again assisted by Alfonso. From the beginning of the reservation process through the actual move-in, Alfonso has been very attentive, shown great intelligence, has been extremely professional, and is very friendly. He allowed me the time I needed to make educated decisions and was very patient with me. He made the entire experience seem effortless. Alfonso is a major asset to your organization and he should be commended for his work. The storage unit was as expected. Very clean and spacious.
