We really felt bad for the guys that loaded the stuff in Phoenix. Perhaps be more specific at setup of service that the movers will not come with any of their own stuff. Had I known that I would've rented hand dolly's for them. The guys in Florida went ahead and rented some, which is fine by us. I just don't feel that was clearly articulated in the website.

trip from phoenix to my house and then to boulder city nv, miles allowed is not accurate was off by 7 miles. gas reading was not updated on computer so when I turn in truck at drop point ,I was told I need more gas In truck. when in fact I turn it in like I received it. overall was not please.

I was upset I could not pick up a truck closer to my location. I was emailed twice with location change. I tried to call but was on hold forever and I was at work. I had to drive little over 7 miles to pick up and drop off truck when there was one closer.

I have used Uhaul several times. This was the cleanest and friendliest pickup.

1 person working the counter on a Saturday morning. Had to wait over an hour to get the keys to my rental truck which put me an hour behind schedule. I had a reservation and had checked in online but still had to wait in line. Was told to use the app to speed up the process yet the app didn’t have the info I needed. You really should have a separate line for people with reservations and also stop asking for the same information at the counter that I have already put in my reservation. 1 other suggestion, stop getting contact info from the customer for someone U-Haul will call if the customer doesn’t return equipment. That is the stupidest thing. You think by calling a random person you will get equipment back, I actually had to give 2 because I’m out of state. Both of the number I gave were out of state. Probably not renting from U-Haul any time soon and definitely not this location.

Rent trucks out with a full tank of gas. There was less than 1/4 tank in the truck provided to me. I was only going about 20 miles and it makes it difficult to know how much gas to put back in the tank when you can't just fill it to full. Also the last thing people want to do is fill up a truck as soon as the rent it. It should be ready to go. The mirrors on the truck were stuck in one position and unable to move them in order to properly see out the sides. This is a major safety concern when you only have 2 side mirrors to rely on and you can't move them. The airbag light was on in the truck which means it doesn't work and also a safety concern. The truck had over 116,000 miles on it and was pretty banged up on the outside along with doors that did not shut easily.

Upon dropping off the trailer I ran into, not greeted by or even acknowledged by Robert. The neon sign says open so I proceed to enter the store and nearly walk into the door as it was locked. All the whole Robert just stands there looking at me like I’m crazy. He told me where to park and showed me the return procedure in the pamphlet and offered no more assistance than that. Everyone I have dealt with at U-Haul have been exceptional!!!! Very disappointed in the service, or lack there of I received today. I will continue to be a customer but only by the exceptional service from the employees at the Lake Havasu location I dealt with on several occasions and everyone at the Laveen location, they have gone above and beyond for us.

Have the truck full of gas rather than 1/4 tank.

Had to walk the lot to find someone to help me. Not one person was inside the store or at the counter. Tech had to replace the trailer before I could drive away because somebody there hooked up a trailer with a broken chain. Pick up time was much longer than expected because of this. Tech was polite, wasn’t his fault and he tried to get me going as quickly as he could.

I went to rent a pick up and they said there was none available after I made the reservation so I had to get a 15 foot truck which I didn’t need for only three suitcases and it cost more money so that was not cool and I will not be doing that again it was a bait and switch and that’s not right

Have requested vehicle available. No reason to have to have a larger vehicle when a weeks notice allows for time Uhual to move the correct vehicle to the pick up location. Honor internet booking offers, especially return vehicle location, which added more mileage.

I was surprised at how many miles the truck had. 130k miles seems high when traveling 900 miles, while paying $985 for the rental. Also I was disappointed at the fact that I had to pick up the truck and the car dolly at 2 seperate locations with no accommodations. (I might add this was my second $985 rental in 2 weeks, so the mileage comment and pick up applied to the first rental)

At this location nothing. David and his assistance was excellent friendly and very courteous. They also made me feel welcome. The 1 800 people made a big mistake with my reservation and I was on the bus. Much thanks to 22nd Ave and McDowell store. You make moving a lot less stressful. The 24th St and McDowell store had NO empathy and could care less about my feelings. Thumbs down to Alex and Robert

$100.00 was charged on my card when I arrived and then another $100.00 charged upon returning the truck. So until the first $100.00 is credited it's in limbo. I will use Ryder trucks in the future and this admin up.

The U-haul truck driver Briana did a great job with the delivery of 4 U-boxes to the front of my house at W Vernon Ave in Phoenix. The pickup of U-boxes was also done well and on time. Thank you!

Everything was fast and easy and the staff very helpful. The only problem I had was the truck I had rented only had a quarter of a tank of gas and the first thing I had to do when I left the pick up location was to stop and put some gas. On top of that, the staff couldn't tell me clearly of a gas station nearby that could accommodate the height of the vehicle. I had many things to do and didn't need the additional task.

Make sure your scheduling department are sending customers to locations that actually have the equipment needed. This location in particular needs to check all their equipment, the car hauler had a flat tire as soon as we put my car on it.

The customer service from the pickup out front is amazing but inside is another story entirely. I’ve never felt so taken advantage of, lied to and swept under the carpet by a cashier in my life! Way to show zero interest in your customers and their obviously already annoyed day of having to be overcharged and under appreciated.

My attendant forgot to put the dolly in the van I rented so I had to go back and get it. This took a half hour out of my trip and raised my milage a bit. Felt he should have acknowleged this on my bill. Otherwise, as usual, this location is a-okay.

I had a UBox and movers helpers at this location. My movers helper was not allowed to hook up my Ubox on the trailer because they said the Uhaul hitch wasn't proper. Mind you these Movers Helpers have done jobs w/ uhaul for years. THEN I have to rent a box truck, get it attached to the Ubox on the trailer and the lights worked on the trailer the brake lights and turn signal didn't work on the trailer. I left anyway and had someone drive behind the truck. They were very polite at the store, and I know they were concerned about safety and my contents, which I DID APPRECIATE, but I think they discriminated against the Movers helpers in short, only to have me rent a truck and send me with a trailer that wasn't safe anyway.

The employees who work there are rude. From checking in to returning the truck. It’s a shame even knowing that my mom who works there booked my U-Haul.

The mileage and gas levels were recorded incorrectly. I brought the vehicle back with less miles than they recorded I left which. They decided to subtract the mileage in from the mileage out and charged me the difference. Instead of being charged for 60 miles, I was charged over 400. When I inquired, they gave up figuring it out and subtracted the fee for mileage. I still overpaid with tax. Very frustrating!
