I rented a transport trailer to transport a vehicle. Initially when loaded the vehicle we noticed that one of the straps was cut off however we still managed to tie down our vehicle with our own straps. Secondly once we started to drive we had a "blow out" tire which was very frightening, we could have gone killed. What was the ultimate thing to this whole situation was that when it initially happened we tried calling road side assistance which they never answered so eventually had to pay out of pocket $300 dollars because I was told by the police to move out of the way.SOFIA A.

Start with ensuring that all the information on the rental agreement is correct. I received a text and email notification in regards to a reservation. I called twice and spoke with representatives explaining that I had not reserved a truck, and that somehow my phone number (which is linked to my email) was entered on the reservation inadvertently. Requested to have my information removed from said reservation and STOP receiving email and text notifications. Your mistake was never corrected on your end, thus I continued to receive numerous unsolicited notifications.JAMES L.

Maria at the HWY 3 location and Amir at this Gulf Freeway location were great. The guy at the Almeda Genoa location that I had the displeasure of speaking with is one of the rudest, nastiest people I've ever had to deal with. That dude does not deserve a steady paycheck and I will never do business with that location.JASSEN D.

From the moment I walked in the customer rep was rude and complaining as to why I came so late. He then complained again when a female customer walked after me. He kept saying why didn't we come earlier. Why did we chose to come 15 minutes until closing time. It was raining outside so he complained about that as well. I chose that time of 4:45 on a Sunday because I had to work thst day and I had left my vehicle stranded in Edna TX. Regardless my reasons did not need to be explained to him. To make matters worse when we went outside and he hooked the tow dolly to my pickup he didn't inspect anything and I did. I found the left driver taillight did not work. I brought it to his attention and he said, as long as you have one you'll be fine. Then he walked away from me. I was pressed for time and in the rain so I didn't bother trying to argue with him.Jorge C.

Greetings! The mpg on the van I rented was horrible. I figured I got about 7 miles to the gallon. I believe I drove a total of 39 miles just picking up stuff at Lowe's and Home Depot, which are close to me. Van was 19.95 + 30.$ per day for extended coverage, plus .79 per mile , plus I only got 7 mpg. I don't drive rough. I would definitely warn others of the excessive expense to from uhaul. Overall, I was very disappointed with that aspect of renting from uhaul.Shahnaz D.

The tail light on the trailer was not working. That is not something you can check by yourself. This should have been checked before rental.Nathan B.
The owner himself greeted me in a friendly and courteous manner and within 10-15 minutes I had the keys in hand and was on the road. Very clean and orderly office with anything you may possibly need to assist with moving. The 15 foot truck drove and handled very well and was perfect for the weekend task I had planned. The customer service is excellent at this location. I personally have not seen better at any other location. Frankie, the customer service representative was welcoming, respectfully courteous, and efficient. The young man has great work ethics. I have visited this store numerous times in the past and the experience has always been excellent. The store manager always extends an additional welcome to the customers. The customer service was horrible. First they didn't put my equipment I paid for in the truck. I had an issue with the truck because online it doesn't tell you details about the truck and I've never had to wonder if the truck came with a loading ramp. I would think a moving truck comes with one. I called customer service and they said sorry we don't have that info online but that particular truck didn't have a ramp. So I called the location I went to and it was the worst service ever!! The young man that started working at 2:00pm answered the phone and was rude and became very rude and unprofessional as I tried to explain my situation with him all while I am grieving and just trying to get stuff done. He lack customer service which is apart of his job and he had no sympathy nor empathy! He showed poor customer service skills and reflected the company poorly with customer service and integrity. The staff aren't wearing masks. They try degrading customers who are trying to do self return who want to limit their interactions with people. The truck itself needed washed outside and needed the windshield properly cleaned with something that doesn't streak. Employee was rude and racist towards me and other customers in store whom were not black. This was the second time I had an issue with same employee. I called Managment and let him know of incident and he said he would talk to him. I was very upset and could not return trailer so I had my husband go and miss work. The employee was fantastic. Very polite, professional, informative, and helpful. He helped me find the right boxes and lock for my unit. He walked me out and showed me the unit. He also gave me the access card and walked me to all the stations showing me how to use it. The inside of the store was very clean and he ran a tight ship. The only negative, and I had is that there was a leak in the hallway of the storage unit with a mop bucket below it to catch.
