Everyone was nice and helpfull.
SHERI C | Overall ExperienceThe employees were what made the experience seamless. In Milwaukee the workers were extremely friendly and helpful! When I had questions the phone was always answered and everyone was so welcoming. Process was extremely quick because employees knew exactly what to do and were prepared for us. Customer service top notch at both locations. Especially the man who helped us hitch our trailer.
ELISE CA lot of my stuff was damaged in my unit. I had insurance for my unit and they made it seems as if I was lying about my items. I had to throw away a lot of my stuff from family pictures (of my chidren as babies and pics of my "DECEASED"brothers and my dad) I CAN NOT get the pictures back!, clothing, beds, bathroom items, and a stove and a TV! I've sent pictures after pictures and videos I'm hurt but what mostly hurt me are my family pictures #MYMEMORIES! Your insurance company that you guys uses took advantage of my situation and did what they wanted and wouldn't even listen to me! I'm the one that lost out on my items!!

Kayla MThe truck was almost on E when I got in. The appliance dolly that I paid for was not in the truck. I had to drive back to get it which added more miles to my bill. The employees were rude and extremely unprofessional. Offered me no compensation for my inconvenience and time wasted. I will NEVER rent a truck from this place again. I would NEVER refer anyone to patronize this business either.

SERINA WIt seems as If the staff is very poorly trained in call center customer service due to the U-Box chain of custody dynamic. The staff lacked the current up to date knowledge of my account and was not friendly or communicative.
rick hService at this location has improved a lot. I believe there's always room for improvement, the only thing I would say is better improvement with communication between employees. This is a common issue with service providers, but I believe this site will improve in this area. My last two visits have been very good.
GREGORY MCustomer service was great, spoke with Toni for the pick up. The return lady was amazing also, as she directed us on returning the truck. And The return tuck guy, with the gold teeth was great as well and patient. Thank you for the great customer service…
JEWEL DThe truck smelt like Marijuana, the receptionist was great but the equipment check in guy was very rude and kept using foul language. He called my husband a MF just because we wanted a paper receipt and said our kind always feels entitled. We didn't understand where all this anger was coming from. Will never use this location again

JAMES JThe only reason for this rating is the lack of an after-hours key drop, which means I had to make an extra trip this morning to drop the key off at 7:00 - and I was supposed to be at work myself at 7:00. Please come up with a better solution!
Jamin HThe ramp was not connected to the truck, and there was a lot of play in the steering wheel. Also, there is no longer a way to drop off the key after hours, which means I have to make a second trip just to do that. This used to be an exceptionally good location; now, I'd prefer to go somewhere else.

ClAUDIA GHighly DON'T recommend using the U-Haul on Good Hope Rd. My husband rented a truck from there today, and when he returned it the employee told him he didn't return it with the correct amount of gas. Even though he had filled it back up with the amount he used. When he told her he would leave and fill it, she refused to let him. She said it would be a $54 charge no matter what. Then she said "unless you tip me". Which, he laughed at. Then she said "no, l'm serious". So he tipped her $10 to get out of the situation. Which, completely cleared up the "$54 charge". I don't know why he actually did this and why he didn't call her manager or corporate. But... I just hope she really needed that $10. Because... that's a pretty horrible thing to do to somebody. Yet, here we are. I can't tell you what to do, but I highly suggest going somewhere else.

LA REven though before I returned the truck I had rented I stopped & put 2 1/2 gallons of gas into it (& only drove the truck 21 miles they charged me an extra $10 & some odd cents for 2 more gallons of gas. Makes you wonder how many miles to the gallon do these trucks get or is this just a way for u-haul to make a few more dollars
JOHN ZUpon renting the storage unit, the representative told me that the rental included a lock. I specifically told the representative that I had my own Uhaul lock. Upon reviewing the receipt once I got home, I discovered that I had been charged $9.95 for the lock. You should not mislead your customers into purchasing your locks.

I was asked repeatedly if I had cash, venmo or cashapp, when I said I had none of those the employee asked if I would be returning the rental by the end of the day and to make sure I bring cash as a tip. Extremely unprofessional.

Gregory RI was overcharged for my requested items and am currently waiting on a refund. Further, it is not proper to keep asking for tips to perform basic services that are included in the rental price. It's a bit of a scam.

Lorie L | Overall ExperienceThey didn't have the truck ready for my 6:30 AM pickup. I couldn't get it until 9:00. I had scheduled movers, etc. No effort on the clerk's part to make it right. She kept waiting on other customers in between each step of my check out process. I had to completely redo despite having done it all online. Someone's lack of paying attention caused me so much additional stress during an already stressful time. A smile and talking in something other than a monotone can go a long way. Even an apology for their mess up would have been appreciated.

Frederick LNo one was in the store when we arrived. When the rep came in she was pretty mean and and annoyed. Didn't even say thanks for waiting. We tried to use our credit card. It was trying to charge $124 even though the screen said $47. The charge was denied we called the credit card company and they verified more was being charged. We moved to this location because the Customer service at E Capitol was horrible. This location is the same. We also stopped using the self check in app because it never works

JERRY GFirst, you didn’t have my truck available at the location I booked it … they transferred to a location that didn’t have a truck … I had to go back to that location 5 hours later … the right side rear view mirror was not working which made driving dangerous … I’ve used UHaul many times and had good experiences; this time, not so much.

JOHN LDid not get my 15ft they said my order was for a 10ft. My email early says 15. I had hired movers through Uhaul for 2 hours with a 15ft truck. So our large furniture could not all fit in the truck so we had to load multiple cars with boxes .We were counting on the ramp for a reason. Now I will have to rent another truck with a ramp to move the rest of the items. In the 6hour rental and a ramp my move should have been completed. So I am not happy. This mo e should have been a 1 and done. If the truck wasn't available I should have been notified.

SERA KIt started raining so I had to turn on the windshield wipers. When I did, there was no wiper blade on the passenger side. Also, unable to do an after hours return. Due to theft in the area, I was advised to return the vehicle at 7AM the next morning to insure it wouldn't be stolen overnight. Store team was great and did not charge me to keep it, but it did create an inconvenience for me because I had to store the truck overnight and I had to be at work a 6AM. I ended up having to go to work approximately 2 hours late.
TAMMIE WThe drop off location, the guy was rude. We made it to the store at about 6:52. The door to the store was locked. The guy came to check the truck in complained they had a lot of work to do and The truck was brought back too late because they close at 7:pm. He was very argumentative and kept saying they close at 7 pm and the office should have told us that. I actually called the store when I was on my way and I was told as long as I get there before 7pm, It would be fine. This was an older guy and He showed no customer services skills and was. He was not friendly at all when we tried to reason with him. Also, the other employ smelled like marijuana . The smell was so apparent when as we walked pass.
COMMERNITTA BCharging me $17 for gas replace when I drove the rental only up the street and back for under two hours one trip there and one trip back is crazy I will be reporting those charges.i do not recommend this place the customer service is poor as well. One lady was helping me then a friend with a child came in and she pushed me over to the next person so she could've have a conversation that's ridiculous honestly.

I asked one of the workers if he would drive the truck back around to the front and he said no he can't. I had to call my son to come to the uhaul place and he backed the truck out for me. That's how inconvenient exiting my storage unit is. Extremely frustrating very poor experience and service.
