I have reserved my truck and appliance dolly two weeks prior to picking it up when I got there they did not have the truck available that are reserved until the last minute one showed up, and on top of that I got no appliance dolly at all and could not move my refrigerator out of my old apartment.Julian H.

Long time renter of U-Haul vehicles.Valerie B. | First Impressions
Unclean vehicle at pick-up. Refilled fuel before drop-off. At drop-off, rep refused to come outside to check-in the vehicle. 2 hours later, I received a digital receipt with a $60 charge for fuel. Called to get refund and they sent me to U-Haul customer service rather than refunding me directly (which they can do from their location) and I had to wait an additional 45 minutes on hold with corporate to receive my refund. I think the manager name is â€œBrockâ€, this man is a man of integrity, resolve, and excellence. The store is like a flower growing out of the broken concrete. It's in a terrible neighborhood and yet, this guy maintains EXCELLENCE. As a matter of fact, he is above excellence.Alvin R.

Did not have trailer I reserved, connected another trailer to my truck that didn't work for me. Then closed their office and basically told me go home cause they are closing. I drove off with wrong trailer, returned the trailer next morning was charged $40. Was meant to drive across country with the correct trailer for over a week. Had to cancel the entire trip.Leo S.

I have drive the truck 20 miles and they charge me for 40 miles.I was in rush so I didn't look at the paperwork that they made a mistake and wrote wrong mileage.they refuse to help me and charge $20 extra.Mohammed M.
Only one worker. Seemed overwhelmed and very dry customer service. I had to wait almost a half hour to be checked out and the half hour wait time was deducted from scheduled time for return. Gas tank was at a quarter tank so a picture was taken to verify upon return so I would not be charged. I returned it on a quarter tank. I would not use this location again. As I walked in 2 employees were just sitting outside having a conversation as they seen me walk in. There was not any staff inside the location when entering. I yelled hello numerous times with no response then a staff member I believed mimicked me as I said hello from the outside area. Don't you know the staff that saw me walk in initially was the staff that serviced me!!! So they saw me walk in and knew I was not gonna be serviced or even acknowledged me when entering. When I talked to the man he almost made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him. This staff is horrible if you don't want to work there then quit!!!RAYSHADD R.

I was definitely overcharged for mileage. I was charged for 60 miles when that is not physically possible for my rental. I drove 4.6 miles from the location to my North Buffalo apartment, 0.7 miles to my moving location also in North Buffalo, then 4.6 miles back to the uhaul location. This was a total of 10 miles. 9.9 to be exact. I made no other deviations from this trip. The odometer read must have been wrong.Taylor C.

I was really disappointed upon moving into my storage unit because the phone representative assured me I had a ground level unit. When i arrived it was not a ground level it was up high on top the floor level, and there were no other units available at this facility. This was a big disappointment due to the fact that I'm disabled and also I had my movers waiting to load my storage unit for me. Desk attendant was on his phone on a private call on speaker while helping me. Did the bare minimum of taking care of checking me in, as well as sold me the wrong size ratchet straps without advising the correct ones. Truck had a large windshield crack, non-working a/c (the air didn't work in general), ABS light was on and alignment was off.Avery W.
I selected another address to pick up the truck. Two days before picking the truck up, I received an email updating the address. This address is about 10 miles more from I will be moving. I called U-Haul and they mentioned that was the only place available with that truck size. It was a surprise for me because on the web site I selected the original place without any issue. Picking and dropping the truck was difficult for me (for the distance). During the day driving the truck, I called U-Haul asking for dropping the truck on Monday, and they responded that was not possible because the truck was already rented. I drove a lot to returning the truck. Please, be more careful with the places to rent and trucks' availability.Presentacion R.
