The general manager there is very rude and very unprofessional.. he should be fired for the way he talks to his customers.. he's not a good listener at all.. I tried to explain to him that the truck I rented was leaking gasoline when I went to fuel the truck that I was renting. Before I could finish explaining the situation he is seeing your weight that I was lying. He did not exactly come out of his mouth and say the words but throughout the conversation you can tail just by the way he was expressing the words to me. I only wanted him to be aware of it so that they can get a mechanic to check the vehicle before they rent it out to someone else I even have it on video showing that it was leaking I told him that I put my hands down there to see if it was water or gasoline when I smelled my hands it was gasoline me and my motherâ€˜s boyfriend both witnessed this I also snapped a picture of it so that he could see it. I even offered him to look at the video he said he checked the truck and his self he smelled no gasoline I didn't told him of course you're not going to smell it you're not fueling the truck I told him when I was viewing the truck is the fuel was going inside the truck it was spilling out at the bottom of the truck not where you put the nozzle for the gasoline I am very aware of how A vehicle function I am not a mechanic but I am fully aware if there's a gas leak or not. I just feel like you need to fully investigate that site with that manager he is very rude very unprofessional and very impolite. I understand his frustration but some that's what you have to do when you step in the position of management it comes along with the territory. I will not be coming back to that location. And I will tell everyone about that location and the experience that I had at that location with that manager. I'm quite sure when he gets this and you bring this up to him he would know who I am. But for the most I've always never had this problem with you all ever before this is the first time I've ever experienced this situation.LESHINA M.

Very Disappointed. Ended up paying an additional nearly 80 dollars at drop off for milage when I was encouraged to get the return the u haul option to Charlotte where I picked up because it was cheaper than leaving the u haul in Columbia to, only be charged an extra 78 dollars for going over the milage.!!!! The dolky I ordered was not in the truck. Luckily I looked in the truck before leaving and saw I didn't have one. They finally found one for me to use. Got numerous calls saying the same thing . Communication must be lacking if you get numerous calls saying the same thing. Very disappointed. And I actually returned the u haul early . So they got extra money from me for "milage" and they got the truck early so they were able to rent it out again. Don't think I will use U-Haul again. Plus I left the tank with more gas than I had when I picked up. Horrible service.GERALDINE T.

Understaffed at location due to no shows for the day. Lester was great He just didn't have the employees he needed that day. Windshield wipers did not work on the truck as well. This made it difficult when we ran into a rain storm.Benjamin K.
My reservation was with another location and when I arrived at my requested pick up time, I was informed that the truck and trailer were not at this location. I was informed that the reservation had been moved to the above mentioned location. I am working on a timeframe and was not notified of the change of reservation locations so this was an inconvenience, however the staff that did complete my reservations were very professional.Allen S.

Skip to when we reviewed the charges and see they added additional items that were not requested. Perhaps Bc the system was down but either way not cool. Now, the equipment was FILTHY. I've rented a lot of Uhaul equipment and this was the most dirty and unprepared. We spent an hour cleaning dog hair and drool and debris from front and rear. The other locations are more crowded but I guess I know why now.BRETT S.
I had to drive 45 min in the wrong direction to pick up a truck when I had reserved one less than 10min from my house and storage unit. The truck was not the size I reserved and had slightly over 1/2 tank of gas. When I put gas in to return it I had to guess when to stop and returned it at 1/2 tank. I got charged $10 for 2 gallons despite my inconvenience and gas to drive 1.5 hours out of my way in my personal car and 45 min in the truck to pick it up.PHILIP A.
I was disappointed in the service received with uhaul this go around. As I walked to the door to go inside I was approached by a Worker /manager saying â€œ our system is down and there is a long waitâ€ this same worker / manager checked me out . I told him that I may need more time with the truck and if it was ok if I kept it for the day. The worker /manager said it needed to be turned in at 8pm. So I called uhaul on the phone and requested to extend till the following day . The lady on the phone explained to me that I already had paid for a day and that I could turn the truck back in the next business day by the same time I picked it up for no extra fee. I was just confused at why the worker/ manager told me that I had to have the truck in by 8pm. When I went to turn the truck in a lady / worker was at the front , she was rude. The lady /worker act as if she did not want to check out , she had no knowledge of what she was doing, they tried to over charge me , instead of paying for 1 day they tried charging me for 2 days. I do not recommend this uhaul location I would drive across town for better service then go there again.Chaquana H.

I have had uhauals before this truck needed to be in the shop. Also I was told 122 per day and it was 122 for 2 days yes the paper said that but not what 2 different people said but lesson learned I would have done something different I think they need to say what they mean next time.MELINDA W.
